Looking for cheap car mats i ordered the basic fabric mats for a 2018 mini clubman. There was lots of communication about the order being received, my actual mats were being cut and made in the factory, my mats were being dispatched. Can't complain about how well they kept me informed but when the mats arrived, very swiftly, I was still surprised at how nice they actually are. For the basic fabric mats they are really good quality, feel durable, look very smart and fit perfectly. They fit to the millimeter so maybe they really do cut their mats to order. Very pleased and do recommend.

The rear mats and boot liner fit well and I’m happy with those. However, the front mats are not a good fit. They don’t match the shape properly, and the fixing points (“nipples”) don’t align with the car.

Additionally, the clips are extremely difficult to attach. I had to partially hammer one into place (using cardboard to protect it), which doesn’t seem appropriate for installation. They still do not fit down properly. I also tried removing and refitting the clips as suggested, but the holes are very tight to the edge of the mat, making the clips difficult to pull apart and fit through. The clips actually pulled through the holes in the mat.

After only a short period of light use (two weeks), the mats are already showing signs of wear in the heel area, which is disappointing.

While the design is fun and visually appealing, the material feels quite low quality for the price. Given the premium for the design, I would expect more durability—particularly something like a reinforced rubber heel pad. The front mats also don’t include coverage for the footrest, which is another drawback.

Overall, the rear mats and boot liner are great, but the front mats are not fit for purpose, which is a shame as the concept is really good.
