Like the previous review, we have a cracked heat exchanger. We are 6 months out of warranty We have Carrier's top of the line gas furnace called the Infinity. It will cost $1700 in labor costs. I called Carrier, there is nothing they will do. We will never buy Carrier again and never buy their high priced products. Buyer Beware. A blizzard with very low tempts is due to arrive in 24 hours and they can't service us for several days. 2 cold senior citizens.

Carrierâs negligence has cost me $20kâŠ
Carrierâs negligence has cost me $20k on a defective $9,800 HVAC unit purchased in 2020. Over 5 years, it failed 15 times, requiring $10,000 in repairs. Despite thks Carrier refuses to honor it fully, offering a measly $5k credit toward a $16,000 R454B system, leaving me to pay $11k+ for their failure. This predatory dodge violates Floridaâs FDUTPA and Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act. Carrierâs history of lawsuits: 2008 for defective coils, 2011 for faulty furnaces, shows a pattern of shirking responsibility. [21] Iâve filed complaints with CPSC, FDACS, Florida AG, EPA, DOH, DBPR, OFR, DOJ, DOR, and local agencies.Carrierâs scam must end!
Carrier can't supply their own parts...
My facility has 13 RTUs. Three of the 13 are problematic. PLUS, when you need replacement parts, even under warranty, it takes THREE MONTHS, and we still don't have the parts. We need a blower motor for one RTU and two compressors for another. It's been three months. We were expecting the units to be available for installation this week. Now, Carrier tells us maybe the 28th of Sept 2025. Their excuse was all the new regulations. What BS. Everyone knows that this gov't doesn't care about the environment or regulations. DO NOT GET CARRIER RTUs for your business. You are better off going with Trane, e.g. I wouldn't recommend Carrier to anyone. Imagine being a hospital and not having two A/Cs in the facility working for over three months. It's laughable if it weren't so frustrating. Stay away.

Sent to Carrier today. I know they will ignore this or refuse to pay, but we will hound them...
The blower motor assembly has failed TWICE in the 9+ years that we have owned the Carrier HVAC system. Those failures have resulted in $900 in repair costs for your inferior parts under warranty. Those additional costs add a tremendous burden over what is marketed by your Company as a premium product.
We are requesting Carrier stand behind your products and agree to reimburse us for that $900.

Iâm extremely disappointed in Carrier. My furnaceâs secondary heat exchanger failed just two years after the warranty expired, which Iâve now learned is a known issue tied to a class action lawsuit. Despite reaching out directly and professionally asking for any supportâsuch as repair assistance, product credit, or a discount toward a new unitâCarrier flatly refused to help.
Whatâs worse is that I was never informed of the potential defect. Carrier has shown zero accountability or concern for customers affected by this defect, even though the issue is well documented.
I expected more from a company with Carrierâs reputation, but their lack of transparency, poor customer service, and refusal to stand behind their product says it all. I will not be buying Carrier again, and I strongly urge others to consider brands that support their customers.
Disappointing Experience with Carrierâs Premium HVAC System and Support
I purchased a top-tier Carrier HVAC system expecting reliability, remote functionality, and strong customer support. Unfortunately, my experience has been marked by persistent equipment issues and an unresolved connectivity failure that undermines a key selling point of the systemâremote monitoring and control.
Despite multiple technician visits, prolonged inconvenience, and significant time commitments on my part, the underlying problems remain unresolved. The system's blower intermittently malfunctions, and the thermostat remains unreliable, creating significant stressâespecially while traveling without access to remote functionality.
I have made good-faith efforts to resolve these issues with Carrier and have also filed a formal complaint with the Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services due to the lack of resolution.
I sincerely hope Carrier takes these concerns seriously and makes things right for customers who place trust in their brand and invest in their premium product lines.

The indoor unit of my Carrier 2024 AI Flexicool AC suddenly burst into flames inside my home in Chennai, Perungalathur, causing a fire and property damage worth â¹5, 00, 000. The AC is less than a year old. This incident was extremely dangerous and could have caused serious injury or worse.
Customer support from both the Carrier AC team and their service support team has been appalling. Despite filing a complaint (CSR No: 447/2025) and a police report, there has been no proper response or resolution for over a month. The assigned service personnel were delayed, unhelpful, and shockingly rude and careless.
I have also sent multiple emails to Carrier, but there has been no reply or acknowledgment. This level of negligence is unacceptable.
This has been a deeply unsafe and traumatic experience. I strongly advise others not to waste their money on Carrier ACs. Safety and responsible customer service should never be compromised.

Terrible Experience â Not Worth the Money
I purchased a Carrier 1.5 Ton AC, and it has been nothing but a disappointment. The cooling is weak, and it takes forever to cool even a small room. Within a few months, it started making strange noises, and the energy consumption is much higher than advertised. To make matters worse, customer service is terribleâlong wait times, unhelpful responses, and no proper resolution to my complaints. For the price I paid, I expected much better performance and service. I would not recommend this AC to anyone.
Buy Carrier risk being burned to death!
Had a Carrier HVAC system under warranty that started on fire. Luckily I was at home to turn unit off. I contacted a HVAC contractor who attempted to get parts. Even with serial number and model number Carrier said maybe a could get a part in 4 months! Do i freeze or boil waiting for a maybe hen unit is under warranty!
I googled Carrier only to see two class action lawsuits suits against them. Carrier lost and settled, appears to be their customer service is achieved via courts.
What if fire started at night! Do you want to be burned to death, buy Carrier! Be ware of Carrier who uses off brands such as Bryant.
