Efficient service for in store collection. Qualiry products direct from manufacturer

I have been a customer of CEF Greenwich as I have been developing a project nearby for a couple of years. My tenants (9 of them) were out of hot water yesterday (22 December 2025). I needed a part to replace to get the hot water going again. So I phoned the Greenwich Branch and spoke to Zak who did not have the part in stock. He identified that the Stratford Branch had it and offered to have it picked up and delivered to me. Less than an hour later, Steve turned up at the site with the part. Talk about ABOVE AND BEYOND THE CALL OF DUTY. To be honest, I was not too surprised! Kris and her team are always like that.

I placed a click and collect order. Waited for a message to say it was ready. Waited for such a long time. Eventually gave up and went down to the store. No customers in the store, but staff playing darts. Delay waiting for the order meant I could not complete the job the same day.

Quick service. Seen by Bill who was quite friendly. Given all the information I needed. I appreciate his service. I would definitely recommend my friends to trade here.

The team at CEF Greenwich have always been incredibly helpful, and more than once got me out of a tight spot. Kris the manager has especially always been very communicative and incredibly helpful when ordering materials. Can't sing this branch's praises enough. Thanks to Kris and all the team!

Our business has been working on a large scale project in the Charlton area for the last 5 years. During this time we have employed the services of multiple electrical wholesalers.

With many site specific logistical challenges, it has not been easy for wholesalers to fulfill our requirements.

We had tried the local CEF in Greenwich a few times early on in the project - the added convenience of them being local to the project would satisfy our carbon emission policies and allow quick turnaround of last minute orders.

Initially, the service from CEF didn't quite meet our requirements and we quickly reverted to previous suppliers.

When Kris McCarthy and her team took over in 2022, we gave CEF Greenwich another opportunity. Since then, the service has been consistently exemplary. They truly cannot do enough to help and have gotten us out of some very difficult situations with speed and professionalism. Service is friendly at every level of the business, showcasing a fantastic business culture. They have no doubt contributed to the various quality and management awards won on the project, delivering high quality products in line with strict specifications and always within the agreed timescales.

Following the brilliant service over the last couple of years, we consider CEF Greenwich to be a primary electrical supplier and look forward to working with them on future large scale projects across the country!

As a maintenance reactive driver I am inbcontact with many wholesalers. I've found the Greenwich branch of CEF to be professional and friendly. Understanding and patient.At all times approachable yet prompt. Would recommend all to all .professional and none professional alike.

So helpful - they went above and beyond to try to identify then source a non-standard fitting for me and thus solve a problem that was not of their creation. Absolutely stellar service, complete with very fast follow-ups over both phone and email.

Found my items I needed quickly on the website, fast service too, thank you.
