I went in store to get a large list of items and was greeted by the branch manager he was very helpful and knowledgeable about the products helping me to select the best products for the job.

Fantastic customer service. Always very helpful in sourcing new products & cheaper alternatives. Also goes above & beyond in seeking training courses / tech talks to help improve our companies knowledge.

Excellent customer service throughout experience at Northwich branch. Branch manager went above and beyond in providing an alternative product for our requirements which provided a cost saving to our business.
Would highly recommend to any business and we will be using this service again.

Disappointing, I went to the local store after checking the stock via the online web system which said they had plenty of the item I wanted, I got to the store and they said they had none, this was the second time in a week that this had happened!! I asked the store assistant if I could order the items for delivery to the store and was advised it would be easier if I ordered via the app. I ordered on the app but it would not allow me to order to store, a web chat advisor said it must be a system fault, so I was stuck with ordering online for next day delivery and low and behold I was one of the 5% who did not get the delivery next day!! I didn't want to wait in at home for something that might arrive but then had to wait in a second day when it did arrive but I found out left outside my house, on the drive, no ring of the doorbell, no knock on the door, no notification via text/ email etc. I don't think I'll be going back to CEF. I'll stick with Screwfix or Toolstation etc for reliability. Sadly a disappointing experience. Oh, and it seems that you have to pay for delivery unless the value is over £50 and that includes delivery to store. Screwfix etc don't charge for any item to be delivered to store, what is going on at CEF!! UPDATE, following phone calls from Customer Services and the Branch Manager they were both apologetic and understanding about the service I experienced and I feel I should give them another chance, it may be some time before ordering online but I may try the store again!!

Great service, gave the lads my list and they went into back room 5 mins later there we go. Paid and off I went.

I'd been toying with getting a new Dewalt 796 Drill Body and when searching online noticed CEF had it on offer for under £60 including hardcase. So I ordered and chose the click and collect in store, I received a phone call mid-morning next working day to inform me the item had arrived and ready for collection. Happy days. Top service at a good price.

First class service from everyone. The assistant at the shop was most helpful and the items were delivered as promised the next day. .I will always use this company again.

The product itself is great great, but turned out NOT to have the expected voice link enabling conversation with the caller. Hence unusable for infirm octogenarians who only have non-video mobile phones. . Not your fault! Service at store was great
