Excellent service from start to finish. Loft conversion completed within 7 weeks. Always available to speak with barry chown who managed the loft and very reliable. Loft conversion is now finished with lovely bathroom and walk in wardrobe. Very easy process. Would highly recommend.

Lovely work in all areas with minimal issues. Very close to budget and finish date. Great customer service from central office. Reassuringly large company.
Downsides - slightly expensive overall and on site 'project manager' only concerned with saving the company money.

When I agreed to have Central London Lofts has my preferred choice of Loft conversion company I emphasised that I wanted my Loft completed well in time for Xmas. Today the 22nd December, I am very pleased to write that we have moved into the loft room and we are very pleased with the finished works. Overall the service I received was professional and all the workers were ready to please whenever needed. I would have no hesitation in recommending central London Lofts.

Apart from a few failures in communication which were eventually put right, the whole experience was pretty efficient and relatively painless. The quality of the work was consistently good. I'm very happy with the finished result.

I am very happy with virtually all aspects of this build. Barry the project manager was responsive to all queries, and Tadas the builder was fantastic. The plumber Anthony was great too. Was less pleased with the sparks, who ran (what I thought was) an unnecessary chase down an existing wall, and would have been happy to plaster it in without conduit, despite the obvious signs that the wall was heavily used for pictures and there were no switches or sockets to show where the wiring ran. They did eventually provide some thin plastic trunking under the plaster infill.

If I was doing it again I would definitely use the same people (especially if its Tadas' team!)

We're very happy with the finished works, each of the specialist team, from the builders, through to plasterers, carpenters and the plumbers did a great job and catered to our wishes of how we wanted the final look to be. We also had some extra cosmetic changes to other existing rooms, due to this new built and Barry's team made sure it was all addressed to. Our house project took 10 weeks overall.

We chose Central London Lofts after talking to three other loft companies and finding that Roger Crick, the sales person, was very professional and understood all of our needs. We had good communication with every representative from this company throughout the project. Barry was always on hand to answer our questions and was flexible throughout the project when we wished to make slight changes. Kevin and Kirk were a great team and got our structure up in very good time and were always approachable but professional.
We would recommend this company and Renatas without hesitation.

We are so happy with our loft conversion by Central London Lofts.

This was one of the best decisions we have ever made. The blue van team (2 main builders) were perfectionists and Barry Chown (project manager) was always on the end of phone and came around when / if we had any burning queries on the build / selection of materials.

My partner was 9 months pregnant / gave birth during the build and the guys were very good and always kept the house inside / outside very tidy and clean.

The project was completed on time and to a great finish.

If you want to be a satisfied customer and have an amazing loft conversion I recommend Central London Lofts

With the impending birth of our second child, we decided to bite the bullet and get a loft conversion done to make our 2 bedroom into a 3 bedroom with en-suite. Our next door neighbour had not long had their loft done and the builder they used was awful and made their and our life hellish for about 6 months! So it was with a lot of trepidation that we decided to go ahead but thought it better happening with one rather than two young children.

Anyway, I had originally spoken to David from Central London Lofts for a quote at the time that our neighbours were considering their conversion. We were considering having ours done at the same time by the same builder and I wanted to check their pricing as it seemed to be ridiculously expensive (turns out it was). David was super professional, gave a really reasonable but realistic price and filled me with confidence in Central London Lofts. Although we didn't go ahead right then, the conversation made me decide not to go with the neighbour's builder and hold out to go ahead with Central London Lofts the following year, when we were in a better position financially. He also provided completely impartial advice when I asked him about some suspicious (turns out illegal) changes that the neighbour's builder was suggesting. I contacted David again mid January 2015 to say that we would like to go ahead with them with an end April deadline (baby due) and he immediately set the wheels in motion. End February, our scaffolding went up with the builders starting the following week and all complete within 6 weeks including Easter!!

The consultation ahead of the work was great with the wonderful project manager Barry. Barry is always available, a really nice and funny guy to deal with and very flexible to your needs. He also had some great suggestions when we came up against challenges and never got annoyed with all our (sometimes) stupid questions. Although we didn't have a day by day project plan, he let us know what to expect next, took photos and called us or sent regular updates. He also made the admin side completely pain free so we didn't have to deal with anything, like building control.

I was completely gobsmacked my the progress the team made, particularly in the first 3 weeks. I wasn't expecting to see much progress for a while but everyday I would come home from work and see something major had happened. The team of builders work so hard, arriving early and leaving late, and their work quality was really great. They were clearly very experienced and cleared up as best they could before leaving for the day. All the other specialist teams were also lovely and professional. It made such a change to have brilliant builders to deal with compared to our previous experiences. The office staff were also efficient and polite managing the payments side.

All in all, Central London Lofts were a pleasure to deal with. The experience of our first major house renovation was far less worse than I expected. The build quality and communication was great and I will be getting them back in to price up our kitchen renovation in the next couple of months. Everyone else I know has had a nightmare with loft companies so I would absolutely recommend these guys and have already got friends and neighbours convinced for their future loft needs. Very pleased with the work done at every stage from initial survey through construction and clear up. The Project Manager (Barry Chown) was very helpful and informative and kept me up to date with the project from start to finish. Time was of the essence due to my partner being 6 months pregnant. CLL took this in board and completed the job 2 weeks early which was great. I felt reassured throughout the works that the project was being completed to a professional standard. Thank you.

We chose Central London Lofts from a list of 5 companies. We researched various sites and after meeting David we were convinced that CLL was the company for us.
From the planning to completion we had all the job explained step by step. It actually took 5 and 1/2 weeks for the job to be completed.
Everyone we came in contact was professional at all times and took time to answer any questions or doubts we might had to our satisfaction.
We would like to recommend Tadas as he is the person that built our dormer and also did most of the job to a high standard.
Overall we are satisfied with the end result and we would recommend Central London Loft.

So some hiccups here and there...... Nothing was a problem for the guys and they always went out of their way to help.. Hardest workers I have ever known and that includes from the top to the bottom.... Amazing loft conversion and we will be using again for our conservatory. Renatas' aftercare continues to be exceptional and Barry is a top bloke... Especially when he smiles :-) A+++++

From the first meeting with David we were struck by the professionalism of Central London Lofts, this continued with our Project Manager, Barry who steered the project through to a timely and quality completion. Although slightly frustrated by a later start than we had agreed, we soon realised that we were waiting for the excellent team of fitters, led by Tudas who would take the project through very efficiently to completion.
We were struck by the co-operation, attitude and diligent working of all the trades, including the roofing team, John the Electrician, Andrew the plumber, Chris the plasterer. And a mention for Dardan and the team back at base - they kept on top of the paper work. We are very pleased with the final product.

Central London lofts started our L shaped dormer conversion in April 2014. We had quotes from 3 companies and CLL agreed to match the base price of our cheapest quote. This along with the helpful advice that we received from David prior to our final decision helped us make the decision to go with them. We are in a smallish Victorian terrace which had an original loft height of less than 2m so we had to lower the ceilings on the first floor. Even with this extra work the structure went up very quickly and 3 weeks later we were able to stand in the new space and make decisions about placement of bathroom items, lights etc. Lowering ceilings was very messy and we were glad that we moved out for the first 5 weeks. The entire job was pretty much done and the new space useable after 8 weeks. A few snagging items did linger on for a bit longer but it did not cause any real problems. Barry was our project manager and was very helpful and accommodating throughout the process. He was pretty much always available for a phone call to discuss any issues and visited regularly to go over specific details. It's important to realize that although there will be a dedicated project manager it's important to stay on top of the details yourself. Ask to see photos of major items such as windows before they are fitted. Fixtures and fittings supplied will be perfectly adequate but fairly standard so if you want something different it needs sourcing in advance. If anything really isn't right ask that it be changed straight away the longer it is left the harder it gets to change or perhaps impossible. There where a few relatively minor problems along the way but everything wa resolved very fairly. All said and done we are very happy with new space they have created for us. The base price was good, and all extras where made very clear up front so we didn't get any nasty surprises. I am happy to recommend CLL as a fair minded, decent and hard working loft conversion company who will create you a great new space. Z Jackson.

This is the first time I have had any major building work done so we where not to sure what to expect. Since the start of the process Central London Lofts have eased through the process and Barry was always able to answer are many question The builders where so clean throughout and living in the property whilst the work was taking place was no problem at all, even with young children. We are so happy with the finished room, it is the best room in the house by far.

At first, we were quite hesitant to contact any loft conversion company because of our previous experiences. So we thought of a DIY job to convert our loft, but this ended up a mess too!. It was then, a friend of us told us about David and his team. When we called them up, we had a hint of suspicion if they are good as they claim to be. But when they gave us their proposal along with the drawings, I decided this is what I need and I persuaded my husband too. The work went on well, and as they promised, they finished converting our loft into a spectacular bedroom for our twin girls, within the specified time frame. No gimmicks involved, no hiccups, everything was handled quite professionally. I, secretly felt quite happy in choosing them. Thank you David and The project manager Renatas for this wonderful work. Generally we were really pleased with our loft, it took several months to complete and there weren't any hidden costs or nasty surprises. A few of the plumbers that were subcontracted were awful and felt they gave a poor service. However the builders that were used were great. The project manager was available most times to air any concerns. The finishing was to a high standard and generally painless, definitely not like the horror stories you hear.

Barry, Alan and the team have just completed a shell loft conversion for me. Everything was well organised and the guys worked hard and to a high standard. The result looks great and the price was very competitive. We are completing the internal work ourselves and the guys have been happy to help us with advice and contacts so that we can achieve this. I would definitely recommend Central London Lofts, and in fact, I already have.
