Carers are generally very helpful. Getting through to the office is a near impossibility, though! Weekly schedules are sporadic but there is an app, which is useful.

Ceracare, from the staff at the office to the carers have been fantastic. Any issues we have had have been dealt with promptly. The use of the app has been particularly beneficial as I can see the report of mums care when I am work knowing she is getting the best care and keeping me informed.
Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

Cera care Grampian have been so brilliant with Paul and my family. Paul has a brilliant set of carers that Paul has developed a good friendship with. I also feel that they are so caring regarding my needs as I took over my brothers care when my mum died, Cera care Grampian certainly helped me navigate through those very difficult circumstances Zoe at Cera care Grampian is a very good asset to the branch we have very good communication regarding covering Paul,s hours

Too many changes in staff, meaning patient needs are not known or always met, sometimes it goes beyond reading a care plan, which i don't think many do, it's about regular carers knowing the person because they see them regularly. Some carers do not wear uniform or utilise the time allotted. I believe most of them try to do a good job however I am becoming increasingly dissatisfied in the level of care provided.

The office staff are super helpful and engage really well with us as a family. They are always willing to resolve any issues swiftly and discuss Dads care needs. The carers are great, especially the regular ones who all know Dad well and are able to provide a good level of support. The new app is great! 😊 we like being able to see that Dad has had his medication each day which gives us peace of mind.

Regular carers are certainly excellent and deserve credit for their work. Had a few teething problems in the early months with agency workers but management have worked with us to rectify this. In the main the regular carers are very friendly supportive and committed. Special mention to Chloe who sat with Mum awaiting Ambulance after a nasty fall.

After a bit of a shakey start things have turned out great. I have the same carers regularly and like the consistency. They are all aware of my needs and nothing is too much bother. All in all very satisfied with the service provided.

The Carer's at APEX are second to none- they are amazing. We have had the team since before xmas and they are full of the same enthusiasm then as the yare now. They are friendly, professional, can be firm when required. They are deserve a gold star

I have utised the services of Cera Care for well over a year now,both for take a break,for myself and weekly care for my Wife,who has Alzheimer's.
In every case the Carers have been superb and I regard the regular ones as personal friends.Their Superiors who I contact Telephonically are
Inevitably courteous and helpful.
Highly recommended.

The Cera app is great for checking in on my mother and it's great to see how well she is cared for. The carers can also leave messages however it would be REALLY HELPFUL if there was a way to reply to the messages on some occasions.

Very good company all carers go above and beyond their profession and always keep me updated on my Mum who is 93 years old.Even the office staff and Manager try to keep the roster to the same time and carers

The regular carers deserve 5 stars as they are brilliant, friendly and supportive of our Mum.
There has been a few concern's with agency workers that have been addressed now.

Not doing basic tasks, supervisor hasn't followed up any of the things she promised, carers turned up after we cancelled. Mum's bin is overflowing, washing up has been sitting there for days, no washing done for weeks. Carers are generally lovely, but the service isn't up to scratch.

My mum is really happy with the care and carers that come to visit her once a day.
Especially in the challenging weather conditions we are experiencing at the moment.
This is not a job for the faint hearted.

my father in law has been having carers from premier care Widnes for about 8 years now. word can not describe how bad they are. I'll give you one example of the lack of thought and communication for the people they are supposedly CARING for. The new system Cera app lets you see when a carer has been and for how long. It also lets you leave notes, which go back directly to the office at Widnes for them to deal with any issues we have as a family. I did such on the app on 4th Nov and I didn't received a reply until I sent another message regarding another issue I had. Their reply on the 9th Nov was they would speak to their manager and get back to me. 1 month later I still hadn't heard back from them, so I sent the member of the Widnes team an other email on 27th Nov ask what was happening. I am still waiting for the response, it is now 7 Jan 2025.
unfortunately my poor father in law has been without one of his hearing aid since the 4th Nov, as a carer had put the hearing air in the washing machine and it had stopped working. As this wasn't the first time this had happened i was requesting for premier care to pay for the replacement aid, as we refuse to pay again for someone else's mistake.
I wonder when if ever I will get an answer or the money to replace it.
I would never use this company if you have a choice, unfortunately we don't. So glad my own parents are in a different borough and wouldn't need to use them.
