I've been part of Amy's community for several years now. The training modules were helpful for me in differentiating how bookkeeping and advisory services are different, and how advisory commands a higher monthly premium because of the value it brings to business owners. Amy takes time on the weekly calls to answer questions and pass on her wisdom from decades of experience. The skill of using the historical financials to project into the future and engineer growth for clients is invaluable, and having a coach and community to walk through it with you is worth every penny! In a world where it's getting harder to find meaningful work that I can do from home, CFO and advisory services has been my ticket to be at home with my family every day, while helping fellow business owners in ways they get excited about. I highly recommend Amy's course and community - anyone can do it. 5 stars!!

I joined the CFO Advisory Academy about a year ago after deciding to transition from a 31-year career as a dentist and practice owner into a specialized Dental CFO Advisory business. Since then, I have completed all of the Academy modules and have watched every available recorded live coaching session .

What impressed me most is that Amy Brownell continually updates the training. The material isn't static—it evolves as the profession evolves. The curriculum covers everything from building a CFO Advisory business and defining a niche, to creating a compelling advisory offer, interpreting financial statements, forecasting, financial modeling, selecting the right technology stack, pricing advisory services, marketing, and conducting effective sales conversations. The lessons are practical and designed to be implemented.

Although I haven't been able to attend the live coaching sessions because of my teaching schedule at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, I've watched every replay. Amy answers questions from members at every stage of their business, from those just getting started to experienced advisors scaling their firms. I have found these sessions to be relaxed, practical, and consistently valuable.

One unexpected benefit has been Amy's coaching on communication and business development. Through both the course material and the coaching sessions, I've become much more confident in discussing advisory services with prospective clients and communicating the value of CFO Advisory rather than simply accounting or bookkeeping.

Amy is also very accessible. Whenever I've had questions, I've been able to reach out through the support email and typically receive a thoughtful response within a day or two, often accompanied by a personalized Loom video that clearly explains the answer. That level of support is rare.

I also regularly watch Amy's YouTube videos, where she shares short, practical lessons on building and growing a CFO Advisory practice. Those videos have become another valuable learning resource that reinforces the concepts taught inside the Academy.

The Academy has given me both the technical knowledge and the confidence to build my business. Since joining, I have developed my Dental CFO Advisory framework, built my website and marketing funnel, created a video-based introductory course, published my launch press release, expanded my professional presence on LinkedIn and Facebook, and completed my first book, Numbers That Heal: A Dentist's CFO Blueprint for Profit, Growth and Freedom. I am now preparing to launch the business with a clear strategy and a much stronger understanding of how to serve clients.
