I moved recently with my daughter. I found the experience difficult. However, Ben and Mandy were there to make, what was a stressful time a lot more easier. They helped with paperwork and kept me informed the whole way through, nothing was ever too much for them. I also used there Solicitor who was incredible. Overall, I was so pleased. I would definitely reccomend this Estate Agents. Thanks guys.

Selling our mum’s bungalow after she passed away was one of the hardest things to contemplate. The staff at Chalk Street were so helpful and sensitive to our needs. Linda is so easy to work with and she gives great advice and knowledge about the buying/ selling process and is very approachable and is the utmost professional.
Ben I found very professional and well turned out. I met Ben when he came to appraise my mother’s home he was confident and explained everything in great detail.
I have spoken with Mandy who also is very capable and professional… on the whole the Chalk Street experience was just brilliant from start to finish with not one Hiccup!! I would always use Chalk Street as they set a precedent for everyone else and are very fair with Price and Their dealings they are what I would call your honest to goodness friendly knowledgeable agents and are in my book the ones to admire in their line of business. I have only praise for Chalk Street having recently completed on the sale of my house. Jack was diligent in keeping in touch as the house went on the market and also valuing the property which was a challenge because it was unique in our street because the house was built much later than neighbouring houses. Mandy then took up the progression of the sale and her experience, patience and wisdom were invaluable. She was so helpful right up to completion and made sure all the conveyancing solicitors were kept on their toes. A great team and I wish Chalk Street every success in the future.

Ben and his team sold our house that weekend. Unfortunately the sale took longer than necessary to complete but the service we got from Mandy was exceptional. She was constantly chasing other solicitors exc trying to get it through and always kept me updated.

It’s been a pleasure working with Jack, Faye and the team. Their communication has been excellent if I’m being honest, and I do feel they have tried their best with our sale. I have no complaints. They were able to get us an offer on our property which my mother was happy to accept so we will be progressing to the next stage now.

I would personally recommend anyone to use chalk street and you wouldn’t be disappointed.

After struggling to sell with another estate agent, Chalk Street found a buyer extremely rapidly. The photographer they used made the house look better than it was. A fee was agreed quickly and although the red tape took longer than was necessary, it all got done in the end

They are very knowledgeable about their line of Jobe. Very good customer service. Exceptional experience from Faye. Great experience.

Surely, CSE is a wonderful team and especially hats off to Gracie who was willing to go the extra mile for me today by calling the vendor to reschedule the appointment in view of my 12-hour shift.

Excellent from start to finish honest , accurate, precise the whole team @ chalk street have gone above and beyond throughout the whole process! . A new breed of Estate Agents a stress free experience

Prevented me to go for a higher asking price and after an offer on the 2nd day, refused other viewings to go ahead. When I wanted to put an offer on another house, the progress manager whom I called Ms Brutal refused the call, saying the whole department was closed 9am on a Friday.

The response is a blatant lie. I was told not to go ahead with any other viewings to "Give this chap a chance"! Stop lying. Ms Brutal was said to be on holiday and even his ex colleague could not get to talk to her and of course, I couldn't put an offer on a house on Church End Lane as they smelt the odious smell of MONEY! You can lie, but I am not the only person posting these views.

Never use this company as they are playing god with your major asset. Houses around the area went for £500k. But the rep who came said no and asked me to try £475k. On the 2nd day, some discerning bargain hunter offered £450k and I accepted it. More viewings had initially been arrranged but I was dissuaded from taking more viewings so as to give this bargain hunter a chance.

Remember:
1) Go online to check prices for comparable houses. No estate agents will work for YOU. They see £3500 and will try to close off the deal. If they ask for £475K, you should go for £500K.

2) Keep your wit with you. When they refused further viewings, threaten to pull out from them. Your house is a major asset and house moving is traumatic.

They can post a response, but remember challenge everything, trust no one, especially not estate agents and don't give away your major asset.

From start to finish Chalk Street have been great. After a bad experience with another agent I decided to switch to Chalk Street and I am glad I did so.
