I used Chapters Press Publishers for book cover design the result was fine but it took longer than expected. Overall, an average experience.

I'll be honest — I didn't know what to expect walking into this.
You hear the horror stories. Pseudo-publishers who hype you up just enough to keep you paying, while delivering next to nothing. I came in guarded. What sold me wasn't a pitch. It was a moment of candor. Someone said to me and said, "James, you will do as well as the time you invest into getting the word out. I'm not going to lie to you — it can be hard."
That landed. Not because it was honest, but because it helped me understand something I hadn't fully grasped yet: writing a book and selling a book are two completely different animals.
Three weeks in, and the worries I carried through the door are gone (somewhat, lol).

Not only has Chapters Press published my small book quickly, not only does the book itself look great, not only have I received glowing reviews from family and friends, but the step-by-step process that Chapters Press and I went through to get from a partially crazy idea to publication was constructive, friendly, and helpful.
This is my first foray into becoming a published author. I kinda sorta knew what I wanted to do and because my whole concept was different than what has been published before, the Chapters Press team and I needed multiple back-and-forths as I revised and refined what I wanted, based in part on the team's recommendations. Through this iterative process, we have come up with a winner, I am sure, in Seven Encouraging Graduation Speeches for High School Graduates.
