They are not trust worthy estate agents. Falls promise. Stay away from them.

Excellent service throughout from George and his team and secured a higher sale price than other agents recommended.

Chloe S has been incredibly helpful and answered our questions timely which has been helpful for us in choosing our next flat.

Would like to give zero stars but can’t. They are neither fair nor transparent in their dealings as gone are the days where a property is priced and then negotiations take place. Not convinced there are other ‘offers’ and certainly not convinced someone wouldn’t accept our cash offer - 9k over asking price, willing to complete with no searches within 14 days, as they were happy with the lower offer! Subsequently found out a builder bought it under a business, so couldn’t ever see how much it went for. Would’ve been good to speak to vendors to see if they were ever even made aware of our offer. The woman who answers the phone is unpleasant and shouldn’t be working in a customer-facing role. Rude with a whiff of arrogance.

They did recommend a solicitor to us that they no longer recommend due to them being very difficult to work with and not being reliable.
Christy did very well at keeping us updated and communicated very well with both us and the buyers. If it wasn’t for her I don’t think we would have completed the sale by now.

Charles Harding helped with our sale of house. The buyers solicitors were very difficult to deal with. Marie and Michael dealt efficiently and helped us to complete the sale.

I was treated like a piece of shit I hope your landlords go somewhere else as they loosing money by renting through Charles Harding.

STAY AWAY STAY AWAY....BE CAREFUL...DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR ENERGY ON THIS AGENT.... If I could give zero star I would. Charles Harding in Swindon are the worst and most unreliable, unreasonable, dubious and problematic agents I have ever used in my life. They are quick to collect huge rent money, however shine away from fixing harmful moulds properly. There where many issues in the property that took months to fix. The property was given in a bad condition, and I didn't realise this until after moving in, as many problems where covered up to make the property look decent enough to move in. They lack communication and respect for their tenants, always wanted the tenants to come out worse off. You can be a very good tenant, and they will still try and rip you off at any given opportunity. Make sure you have protection as a tenant, especially for your deposit before using this agent, because they are not considerate, or helpful. For them to take the actual cost and amount from your deposit to fix a repair at the end of your tenancy, they will request you pay them full deposit. Plus make sure your tenancy is for long term, and not short, so that you don't get kicked out after a year, with no consideration of what you spent moving in, or moving out, just because landlord wants to move back in. They told me whilst accepting the property it's definitely a long term rental, considering I'll be moving with kids. When you query their services, they will ignored you and cover up their mistakes. Please please after my experience just be careful. They work more to protect their landlords NOT their tenants, and do come across very biased.

Maintenance: prompt payment of rent and very good problem solving when dealing with repairs. All statutory tests and certificates kept updated.

Unfair process!
Was booked in for a viewing for a rental, was promised upon booking that no applications would be submitted to the landlord until all viewings took place (rightfully so) to then get a call to say an application has been accepted and the property is no longer available.
Considering how challenging the market is right now, i cannot believe how unfair this is to applicants, to not even be given the opportunity to view/ submit an application. was told 'it is down to the landlord' it is your job as an estate agents to ensure it is a fair process. i will not use this agent for anything again.

I've lived in a rented property for a good number of years managed by Charles Harding, the best estate agent from my perspectives. I'd like to express my gratitude towards Laura, for introducing me to the rented property. Special thanks to Marie for her outstanding services throughout the years and making sure all maintenance works in the property got looked and done in a given time frame.
