Literal scammers

Literal scammers. I ordered on 1st September, no proof of shipping, refuse to refund shipping cost if the item arrives, can’t tell me when it’ll be shipped and “Zain” is incredibly unhelpful over email, declining to give me my money back despite them being very much in the wrong as I have still not received anything. I have disputed with my bank because now they’re not responding! They will take your money and give you nothing in return.

If an order hasn’t shipped and you haven’t received anything, you deserve a clear answer and a real solution, not silence. And I’m also sorry you felt unsupported in the email thread.

Here’s what we’ll do to sort this properly: please email info@charliesuede.com
with subject “URGENT – Sept 1 order + dispute” and include your order number + the email used at checkout. We’ll check the status immediately and reply with one of these, in the same message:

Tracking + confirmed delivery timeline, if it has shipped, or

Cancellation + refund, if it hasn’t shipped / can’t be fulfilled.

If you already opened a bank dispute, we’ll still help close this cleanly on our side and give you a straight update (no more waiting around).

I ordered something in July and it didnt ship out until September. In between I tried to contact them multiple times in order to cancel the order since it was taking too long. They kept saying they couldn't because it was going to ship out soon. They finally told me if it didn't ship out in 5 day they would refund me. I contacted on the 5th day and they replied on the 6th day saying it had shipped. How the item says "arrived" 2 weeks later and it is nowhere to be found. I REPEAT DO NOT BUY FROM CHARLIE SUEDE.

I’m really sorry, waiting from July to September with no real option to cancel, and then having the tracking show “arrived” while you have nothing
 that’s honestly so upsetting <3

When a parcel is marked delivered but isn’t there, it’s usually a misdelivery or a carrier scan error, but either way, you shouldn’t be left alone to deal with it.

Here’s the quickest way we can fix this: please email info@charliesuede.com
with subject “DELIVERED BUT NOT RECEIVED – July order” and include:

your order number

We’ll immediately open an escalation with the courier and give you a clear outcome: reship or refund (depending on what the carrier confirms). No more “soon” replies and no more waiting in the dark.

My order took almost 3 weeks to come after I paid for 4-8 day shipping. The quality is poor and it doesn’t look anything like the picture. It do not order from this brand!!!

DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE. It’s a total scam, products come shipped from China not ‘london’ like they claim. The fabrics are cheap and item so poorly made. It is impossible to get a refund from them. I commented on instagram posts to try and warn people but they deleted all of the comments. DO NOT BUY, nothing like advertised

Just to clear up a couple things gently: we’re designed in London and we ship worldwide.

Sometimes you’ll see similar-looking items pop up on other sites (or even our photos reused), which can make it look like it’s all the same product, if you send us the link you found, we’re happy to check it properly.

On refunds: we do offer refunds/exchanges for eligible returns within our return window (as stated in our FAQ).

If you ever felt “blocked” from returning, that’s not how we want it to feel, we can make this super simple.

Please don‘t buy from here. It is a con. Rubbish quality, poor communication. Shipping from china. The photos are nothing like the clothes they send you. The clothes are so cheap they aren’t even good for fancy dress. Sad to have wasted so much money.

Update. Still trying to get some money back unsuccessfully. Have reported to trading standards.

Straight into the bin

Bought the always abroad top after months of seeing the ads on ig and it took about a month to arrive. Came in a cheap bag (like a temu or aliexpress package), no receipt. I didn’t even get an email confirmation of purchase. The quality is absolutely garbage, looks nothing like the items in the promotional images. Instead of flowy it is stiff shein quality. Went straight into the bin. Avoid

Absolutely horrific company!

Absolutely horrific company!
Ordered a top which was incredibly overpriced considering what it was when it arrived. It was nothing more than a bit of cloth screwed up in a bag!
I complained to the company and stated I wished to cancel my order as per the consumer rights act which entitles me to a full refund.
The email thread went back and forwards with ‘Zain’ insisting I must provide evidence as to why I wished to return. I reiterated that the law protects me to which I was then given a returns form to fill out and return the item and to provide proof of postage to then receive a full refund
I have emailed this over and been met with radio silence. I will be contacting trading standards over the dire products and horrific ‘customer service’

Worst quality and costumer service. Clothes look nothing like images and quality is so bad it looks like cheap kids costume. They refuse to refund without the costumer paying for shipping cost back to china!

Save your money, buy from an actual small business

Not only does it claim to be a London brand, whilst the garments come from china, the quality of the clothes are horrible and do not match the photos online. They’re overpriced for cheap material whilst advertising using good ones, especially for the price point. The shipping took over three weeks with “unknown delays” avoid this brand and save your money.

Charlie suede order that hasn’t arrived

I ordered a top which I paid £10 for priority processing, after a week of no update for delivery I contacted charliesuede through their email, they contacted me back saying that the garment was in the process of being made!!! I asked to cancel my order which was subject to a 30% loss as per their policy and that the £10 processing fee couldn’t be refunded due to using a courier company and they don’t offer refunds! Definitely do not use this company!

NEVER buy from this company

NEVER buy from this company. The clothes took over a month to arrive. Clothes bad quality and not as shown on website. Very expensive for what you get. Customer service appalling. Have been trying to get refund for months but keep avoiding doing so. Will not give me a number to call or a managers name.I am over £50 out of pocket.

Avoid this brand at all costs

I placed a £120 order and when I requested a refund, I was told that disliking the products wasn’t a valid reason for a refund?

The items look completely different to the photos. They arrived without basic wash labels, sizing information, or tags, clearly straight from a factory, with no attention to sizing or design.

Customer service was equally disappointing (they will just ignore you).

Do not waste your money or time here. You will not get it back. Shop on Shein instead, same quality and at least you’ll get a refund!
