They said our tickets were cancelled 45 days before our flight for overbooking and the refund would be 7 to 10 days. 2 months later no one answers the phone and we are out 601.00$

My Flight was cancelled with no notice. When i needed the information for my flight i was told that my flight was canceled since november 22nd. I called and was told I would get a call from billing department for a refund. I waited the time frame I was told but was never called. When I called again regarding my refund I was told to dispute it with my bank becuase they can't do anything about refunding my money. 0/10 very ghetto DO NOT RECOMMEND. Pay the extra few dollars and go directly through the airline you would like.

this company is a complete scam. We bought the tickets and gave us the details but we were waiting for our confirmation number that we never received. They told us to wait 24-48 hours but we received nothing. And we drove 14 hours to the airport and when we got there they called us saying our flight was cancelled and blamed it on the airline. This is a very bad experience, please do not buy anything from this website or company.

I wish will be a “0” Star review. Stay away from this website. We booked and paid more than two months before departure and few days before our flight they told us tickets were cancelled. STAY AWAY AS POSSIBLE!!!

If I were able to give them less than one star zi'd give the -10 stars.The absolute worst experiance i've ever had.I knew i was screwed when i asked when will my ticket be here and was told call if not in my e-mail the end of Nov mind you I purchased this ticked in sept.So ofc I call them and find out "my friend dont have a ticket "order to get one we now need to spend over a hour purchasing credits of some crap on the app Kliama that failed so the next day a manager calls to resolve my conflic 4 calls and 2 and half hours later nope.Back to Kiama that didnt work so now download the affirm app.OH that didnt work do you have a target near you.....we did not get that far because I had enough !!! done here I am doing all this work downloading this app and that app and to boot my credit card alertted me to a fruad charge and the managers says nooo refuse it!!!WTF!!!!! I tell him never mind I will dispute my card he says no thr money will be gone you paid...wait i paid a few months ago why is my credidt card saying fruad now NOPE never again NEVER

Cheapflights is a scam. They took our money. Booked the flights and never paid the airline. So the airline canceled our tickets. We didn't find out about this until the day of our flight. We ended up having to pay a extra $2,000 for the last minute tickets. We have been trying for a month to get a refund of the $864 that we paid Cheapflights for.

I purchased so called plane tickets to fly my son in for Christmas whom I havent seen for 6 years. I placed my order in October, plenty of time to get a decent price. Didnt think anything of it until a couple days ago so I decided to go on and see if my tickets were ready & to verify everything to check in because usually you get flooded with emails to verify everything before you go on the flight. I didn’t see anything in my email so I called the number in the email from 2 months ago when I purchased and was put on hold for a minute and the guy asked me to verify the Klarna code that just got sent to my text messaging and I’m like what is Klarna have to do with this. I didn’t pay with Klarna. then he said I just need you to verify the code and then he wanted me to verify the code in my email too. After he said that it didn’t seem right and I felt off so I hung up and thought Klarna doesnt ask for your code. The code is to get into your account. These sob are trying to scam me again! Later that night my husband called the number and he said my flight has been canceled. Umm, no it hasnt, it never existed in the first place. I called American Airlines beforehand and they verified the flight is not canceled but there was no reservation or purchase with my sons name. The bogus conformation # I received isnt even a code the airline is familiar with. The tickets were fake and now I don’t get to see my son for Christmas all the planning all the excitement gone poof in a blink of an eye my holiday and seeing my son is gone. All cuz of these fraudulent piece of shit people. It’s not even about the money I can give two shits about the money they just took away my livelihood, my happiness my excitement.
Do not go through these people if you want to actually go anywhere especially if its important, go directly through the airline if you’re going to purchase tickets. I am so heartbroken after getting scammed like this. How is this so called place still active is what i am baffled by. They need to shut down this fraudulent site immediately. Wow

They canceled our flights with no notice. They won’t refund my money. Someone within the company has scammed me out additional money. I would not recommend this to anybody horrible service.

They sold me a cheapo flight ticket and tried to suggest that there were varying classes of that ticket and the flight at the class I'd paid for wasn't available. In otherwords, trying to get me to pay more for a ticket. When I refused, they cancelled my booking and returned my money !

TOTAL SCAM - Company cancelled tickets without telling me - luckily i was checking after weeks and caught this. Company phone number is always "down due to technical issues" now I'm fighting to get the money back. I doubt that this is an US based operation !!!!!!! its only to get your money

If I could rate them less than one star I would! After booking my flight on November 5 with hotflightdeals, within two hours Cheap flights called me and said basic economy seats were sold out and that my flights would be canceled or I could pay an additional $200 (for six passengers) for an upgrade to the main cabin, add a carry-on baggage and assigned seats for all six of the people going. I was then told my flight information would arrive as an email from the airline on November 25. No email. Then was told it would be November 30. No email. Called on December 1 and was told my flights were canceled for a flight leaving on December 5. I had to pay double the original flight cost to rebook with another company. (Miraculously They had availability on the exact same flights!) Then I was told I would not get my refund for two weeks!! Why would a company give you a confirmation number when the flight is not confirmed??? bad bad business practice!!! did not tell me that the flights had been canceled?? Bad bad business practice!! waiting two weeks to refund my money (hopefully)?? Bad bad business practice. This company as well as hotflightdeals should be absolutely shut down!!

If I could leave zero stars I would. They cancelled our reservation without letting us know for our flight TONIGHT! We had to scramble to book another flight because we are going on a cruise. I will never use this site again. I better get my money back on this. Assholes!!!!

Bait and switch scammers. My sister booked a flight and then they claimed there wasn't any seats available at that price she was quoted. She called in to talk to someone and they said they would refund her money, needed her credit card information to do so which she questioned. She ended up giving them her information and then they charged her another $177 to book the flight! They flat out lied to her. She called in again and they said no refunds. She ended up calling United and they were able to confirm she had a seat booked. Cheapflights kept threatening her saying they will cancel the ticket if she doesn't pay more. United put a watch on her ticket so they can't cancel it since she did pay for it. These people are pathetic and ruthless and tried to take advantage of a senior citizen. STAY AWAY FROM CHEAPFLIGHTS! FYI, they are a subsidiary of KAYAK, wouldn't use them either. So far she has been able to get her two flights today so thank you United for stepping up and protecting their customers! Hopefully it will be the same when she needs to return home.

Don't use website to book a flight; after booking my flight i got a call and it was over book and i had to pay more to rebook. few days before my flight it was canceled. this caused a lot of problems. but that wasn't the bad part. their customer service stole my personal information and was trying to scam me by downloading a third-party app.

When booking through Cheapflights, the seats you choose are NOT honored by the airline because they offer fares that do not allow for seat assignments prior to 24 hours before your flight. This is VERY MISLEADING. Cheapflights should let customers know that in order to get the lower fare, you will not have a seat assignments until you checkin with the airline 24 hours before your flight. They should not show the seat selector, nor charge you for seat assignments because the are NOT honored by the airline. They said they would refund the money I paid for the seat assignments for our honeymoon flight when we discovered we could not sit together on our honeymoon flight to Japan, but they have NOT issued the refund. Had I known I could not choose seats, I would have paid more and booked directly with the airline. Cheapflights is FRAUDULENT.

I scheduled my flight, made my payment, received a call for their error and was asked for more money and gave it to them. Months went past and then received cancelation. Cheap flights put the blame on the airline over booking the flight. Now trying to get money back.

Please do not fall in their trap.
They made me pay for a return ticket and when I went to the airport, my ticket was not valid. They asked me yo buy another ticket and they will refund me thd ticket, instead of refunding me, they took more money from me. I had yo inform my bank & fraud department.
