What makes the 5 star rating is the people / person at Cheffins , Ellie Hinchley , great person and a pleasure to deal with and this lady is a great asset to Cheffins !!

BRAVO Ellie and Cheffins !!

My wife and I initially chose Cheffins from our list of three agents, because one did not bother to contact us, the other one pestered us with mail and texts. Cheffins were focussed on help and their support where it was essential. 2025 seemed to be a difficult market and we needed all the help they could give. A sale was achieved, it took a year and support of many Cheffins people in our case, we are happy to say we would certainly choose them again.

What a whirlwind of a process.

Firstly, massive thank you to the team at Cheffins for helping see us through to completion for our sale and also liaising with our purchase estate agents on our behalf.

At one point during this process I called Leila to tell her we were pulling out of both the sale and the purchase. Both. At the same time. She absorbed this information like a professional, reassured me everything would work out, and somehow she was right.

The sale itself was genuinely fraught. I think I've managed to gain at least 3 extra grey hairs BUT Leila was a steady, unflappable presence throughout. As was everyone at Cheffins: Holly, Steve, and Charlotte all deserve a special mention. Professional, approachable and somehow always available when you're spiralling at an inconvenient hour. Also their photographer was brilliant so special mention to her too. She did an incredible job with the pictures for our home.

Would we move house again? Absolutely not. We are never doing this to ourselves again. But if some terrible lapse in judgement led us back to the market, we'd go straight back to Cheffins and we'd recommend them to anyone without hesitation.

Everyone in the team was professional, helpful, organised and good at communicating with us. We received great advice and they managed to sell a house that wasn’t an easy one to sell. Thank you, Ellen and Oliver

Max Cutsforth handled the sale of a property in the Castle Camps area for us. It wasn't straightforward - I was managing things remotely from abroad, and we had a buyer fall through partway through the process, which meant going back to market. Max took it all in his stride. He was realistic and honest about pricing from the start, proactive about getting viewings booked, and handled a tricky negotiation with real skill and patience. Communication was excellent - he always kept me in the loop without me having to chase. When things got stuck between solicitors, he stepped in and got things moving again. He genuinely cared about getting the right result, and it showed. I'd recommend Max and Cheffins to anyone selling in the area.

We are very thankful for the support we received from Cheffins. Having moved from Tokyo to Ely, this was our first time renting in the UK, but the process was smooth and well organised.

A little late with our review but a review we must complete on behalf of Cheffins Property Rental Section who with the help of the TEAM under the control of Jo Whitfield made the whole process of obtaining a new tenant stress free thanks to their expertise.
Liaison between Jo, Annabelle and Michaela has been prompt and without question first class.
Well worth the fee they charge.
