Amazing club, very happy to be part of it! I was nervous joining as a pretty slow female hobby runner, but quickly felt like part of the club and I enjoy going to events. I find it extremely good value for money

I wasn’t sure a running club would be for me- but from (nervously) turning up at the first run and ever since I have found C&G trail runners to be such a friendly and supportive club. There is a big mix of abilities and everyone is really encouraging. I enjoy running trails that I wouldn’t necessarily do on my own. My advice would be to give it a go!

Friendly and welcoming trail running group for various abilities. Well organised and varied programme of runs every week, including off road through the winter.

Been with the club for a couple months now. It's been a pleasure running with the group and has inspired me to not only get out and run more but also enter races with the company of other members. The club runs multiple sessions each week in a variety of locations catering for a range of abilities. Everyone has been very friendly and welcoming - noone gets left behind!

I have been+ a member is the clubs inception. Extremely well organised with loads of monthly runs catering for all levels of capability and fitness and periodic workshops and course to help develop yourself to the next level. An extremely welcoming and fun club with great members and a great club vibe. If you love being in nature or want to get off the tarmac, give this club ago, you just might like it :-).

A fun and inclusive running club! Lots of runs each month on beautiful routes as well as trips further afield. Knowledgeable run leaders, a friendly inclusive bunch of runners and everyone is really welcoming. Achievements are celebrated too! A mix of distances and speeds to cater for - and to challenge us all!

This run club is such a great community of trail runners - lots of mixed abilities and everyone is so welcoming to new members.

This is a super friendly club. There’s a great selection of runs each week to fit around a busy life and all abilities are looked after.

What an amazing community and club to be part of! The club is truly inclusive, friendly and so welcoming for all types of runners and commitments. I sadly am unable to attend as many runs as most members however I have always felt part of the club and truly connected with everyone involved. Not only are there a variety of runs to take on but there are social activities and group attendance at events! Couldn’t recommend more!

Amazing welcome when i joined. I’m going through mental health atm and the anxiety to join was hard but once i arrived everyone was welcoming and chatty. I’ve got to know Amazing friendly bunch of people from different backgrounds. The runs are very well organised and even have difficulty rating which is brilliant so I know what I’m able to do. And plenty of variety of runs from hills to flat from 5k and upwards. The leaders are very friendly and have great understanding of any difficulties you may struggle with and you will never be left behind struggling.

Love this club! Such a friendly, easy and supportive bunch of people. The leadership and setup is excellent. Runs are frequent, varied and well organised. All scheduled runs are fully described on the website members area, you simply RSVP as desired, save to calendar and turn up on the day. Lift sharing is common and easily arranged via the club slack channel. I'd encourage anyone, from completely new to well-seasoned, as all running paces are warmly welcomed and accommodated with ease. I'm so pleased I found this club. It had a lot to live up to for me having been part of a lovely, small trail club elsewhere (shout out to Compton Harriers!) some years back, but it's not disappointed. I'm loving my return to trail running with CGTR!

Really friendly and inclusive club, lots of different options that means there's something for everyone no matter what their abilities are. It's great to go along for some social runs, or other times to push myself on hilly and long routes I might not do by myself. The club is also very positive in its approach to welcoming underrepresented groups.

A fantastic, welcoming club whatever your experience or ability. Really nice mix of runs of various length & locations. And no two weeks ever the same!
It’s really helped improve my running

Great company and atmosphere. Whether you're just beginning or an experienced runner looking for a friendly club there is something for everyone. A club ha makes the most of the areas outstanding beauty...even if you're just starting couch to 5k this is the most wonderful way to do it.

Recently joined, but great experience thus far nonetheless. The laid back and togetherness, as you would expect, in the trail world. However, challenge is just around the corner whether you're the weekly park runner or the 100+ leg busting ultra runner. 👍

An incredibly friendly club with varied runs to suit everyone- the length/terrain, the day its on, and where it takes place. Would really recommend anyone thinking about it to come try it out :)

Great running club!

Only started running a year ago and was anxious that I would be slow for a running club and wanted to do something other than road running.
Saw this new club pop up on Facebook and was excited/nervous to join. A bit out of my comfort zone but it’s amazing! Everyone is so nice and friendly.
All different abilities are welcome. This run club is about enjoying the run and having fun with a great group of people. It doesn’t feel competitive even though there are some great runners.

Lots of different runs with relatively flat and hilly options. 5k plus options and different days. You can commit to what fits in so 100% flexible.
Also options for socials after runs 😊
