I ordered a light and it took awhile to get here but it was fabulous. Unfortunately I lost it. I then ordered two. I wasnt worried when it had been a month but then I looked at the tracking and that hadnt shifted now for3 weeks. I contacted them and got a reply that their overseas freight carrier was refusing batteries and they were looking for another. They should contact affected customers and offer a refund. Im happy to wait.

Completely scammed by this company! I ordered this in July and never received it. Beware of this scam company!

I was genuinely interested in ChillBeam, as a creative working in photography/videography, a few of their products caught my eye and I had real intentions of purchasing more than one. So I reached out with some pre-purchase questions before committing.
ChillBeam advertises a 45-day money-back guarantee and claims to respond within 24 hours ("just email us"), but that hasn't matched my experience. I emailed 4 days ago and haven't heard anything back. I also tried Instagram hoping for a quicker response, and got nowhere there either - well somewhat!
What's put me off further is hearing from friends in the photography/videography industry who've actually purchased from ChillBeam. Several are stuck in limbo, some still haven't received their orders, others have had issues with the products themselves, and in both cases, support has gone quiet when they've tried to follow up. It's not just my experience; it seems to be a pattern.
If this is what support looks like before you've even spent money, it doesn't inspire confidence about what happens after, especially for overseas customers without easy alternative ways to reach them. A guarantee is only as good as a company's willingness to actually respond when you need them.
I'd recommend thinking twice and setting expectations accordingly before purchasing.

I ordered a bundle (3 for 2) on the Glowmad Vision. The order was processed quickly and I received an email saying there would be a delay with one of the items but they added a freebie to make up for it.

The product itself is excellent. Honestly I am very impressed. Rugged, easy to use, and very effective. All that in a pocket sized package is incredible. The light control is great and the size and magnets and straps mean it can go anywhere.

Unfortunately, one of my Glowmad Visions stopped working and the Customer Service team dealt with it quickly and effectively. Things can go wrong but how the team at Chillbeam dealt with this was perfect.

Couldn't ask for better service and a great product too. Will be getting some Glowmad Switch now.

I placed my order on 06/08/2026 and received confirmation, but around a month later I still have not had any clear update about delivery or dispatch.

I have contacted the company to ask for an update, but the lack of communication so far has been disappointing. I would expect better customer service and clearer information after placing an order.

I am happy to update this review if the company resolves the issue promptly.

So If you’re looking for some solid fill lights that are super convenient these are it. I’m a professional photographer and have seen these glowmad lights by chillbeam being advertised frequently and didn’t think much of them but was curious if they would useful or not and loved that they were inflatable which is a huge space saver. Recently I got a gig doing video and photography in some low light areas where I’ll be needing to quickly throw in some fill lights. I remembered that the glowmads had magnetic mounts and I could easily slap them on metal fixtures around the space. So I popped over to their website and saw they had an insane deal of buy two get one free and get a bonus mini one. At that price I’d be stupid not to. I got them the day before my next shoot and charged them up and right out of the gate I loved that I could fit two of them in my camera bag and they lasted the entire shoot at 100%. Loved that I could alter the white balance to match the existing lighting. And loved the soft light that it provided. I did have an issue with one of them and the customer support was exceptional. When they come out with some color lights with the same battery capacity and output as the glowmads I’ll probably end up getting a set of those too.

I just received my Vision bundle. I am incredibly impressed with the quality of these lights. Unfortunately, I've gotten used to companies cutting corners to make their products cheaper, this was NOT the case with Chillbeam. The Smart Display alone is great, knowing exactly how much charge is left, and how fast it's charging is insane to have in a light that folds down this much. I cannot recommend this enough.

Bought for use on campervan trips - I'd seen Chillbeam advertised for a while before I finally ordered but I'm very pleased with my Glowmad Original so far! Several settings and the brightest setting is very bright. Built-in magnets are strong, so easy to mount on the side of the van and holds really well.
Great support from the customer services team when I had queries, quick to respond and very helpful.

Great lights. I'm impressed with it. Works better than anticipated. I am using has a quick and easy studio set up. And they're so versatile that they are instantly useful for all kinds of things. Honestly.. I'm just waiting for the catch but I can't find one

These are fantastic. Bought for my sister and brother in law for their camper van. Helped us locate them during a sea fret in Scotland! Brightest setting is very bright. Magnets good and strong. BiL will use them when he’s fishing too. Amazing value when I bought as a bundle. Cannot recommend these highly enough. Simple but genius!

I placed and paid for my ChillBeam order on 18 April 2026. When ordering, I was offered fast-track or standard delivery. I chose standard, which still gave the impression it would arrive the following week.

It is now almost May and, according to the tracking, the order still has not shipped.

I contacted the company and they apologised, explaining they were out of stock and waiting for delivery. They did offer me the chance of a refund, so this review is not about that. The issue is that the product is still being advertised on Instagram as though it is readily available, complete with the usual “hurry, last few remaining” and “buy two, get one free” type offers.

That feels misleading when existing paid orders have not even been dispatched.

The product itself looks good, which is why I ordered it, but I have yet to see one, so that remains to be confirmed. At the moment, I feel rather let down and, frankly, a bit ripped off.

Be aware: if you order, it may take considerably longer to arrive than the advertising suggests.

Paid for my lights ten days ago. Have yet to receive my lights or any word as to when they might arrive. Disappointing as I was planning to use them for a job this week...

Terrible service! It’s taken over a month to arrive and items are still missing.
False promises and awful customer service.
Just be honest with people!
If you search it’s happened to so many people but they are good at hiding bad reviews.
Avoid it’s a scam!

Really slow wait for delivery from china
I was told my order would be afew days after paying extra for delivery after about 6weeks they turned up and now 2 months down the line my beam only lights up half way down will not be wasting my money again

Chillbeam lights are very well made and reflect great imagination and creativity. They provide lots of light where needed and, for the three that we bought, vivid colors that our grandchildren love. Their magnets make it easy to mount in lots of places. And they fold up really small when not in use. I also bought the Vision model for my photographer stepson and he just loves all the features that a professional photographer really uses, e.g., temperature adjustment.

I’m obsessed with my Glowmad Switch purchases. I use them for lighting up the laundry area of my garage and turn them to party mode at night when I have friends around. They magnetically attach to the garage door, door frames - anywhere metal. I accidentally opened my garage roller door with a light still attached and heard a terrible noise as it scraped past built-in cabinetry, and incredibly, it didn't burst! They are so lightweight and portable! I’ve taken them to festivals where so many people have asked where I got them and they have ordered for themselves. I ordered the original Glowmad for a friend who loves camping and I’ve now ordered the minis for myself and as gifts. Yes, obsessed!

Delivery is generally slow, but the lights are worth the wait.

Good light but started to deflate within a few weeks. Considering the hype of being indestructible, riding over them in cars on their adverts, think it's misplaced. Reached out and there was no response. Expensive light bag...

Chillbeam are brilliant. Quality product, great design, speedy service, excellent price and value for money.

These are great for the outdoor person! Camping, hiking, or anytime you need some extra light. I keep the small ones in all of our vehicles. I had one come in faulty, a quick video showing them the problem, and they sent me a new one.

Efficient process, quick delivery, quality product.
