Chimella - The Chimney Umbrella レビュー 6

This is such a great product. Not only does it help save on fuel bills, it also collects all of the soot and debris that comes down the chimney. We now have 2 Chimella's at home - I can't recommend this product more highly. Worth every penny.

I was looking for a draught excluder for the chimney and looked at the 3 options available. The Reviews for the Chimella convinced me that was the best option and better quality although that was the most expensive.
I purchased this but unfortunately I could not install this due to not being able to remove the metal grate infront of the hearth. Simon was fantastic, very prompt with emails and gave his phone number so I could talk it through with him.
He told me not to worry about sending it back in time and try and get someone to help me. However I could not get anyone to help and on top of that had 2 weeks of freezing temperatures and snow and ice.
I ended up returning it - luckily for me in the 30 days at the beginning of December 2024, but did not get my money back. I had to chase this up with multiple emails and he would not respond.
Finally I only got partial money back and when I asked him why he said it was goodwill gesture and his admin and postage costs I was going to pay for contrary to the Consumer Regulations Act of distance selling rules. He did not respond to any further emails when I pointed out the distance selling CRA. I was so disappointed at his appalling customer service in regards to a refund.
At this moment I am trying to get my money back via my bank.

My mom bought a Chimella but managed to get a bit confused with the instructions. She rang the helpline for advice and spoke to a very pleasant lady who sorted a call back within 10 minutes with Simon. He talked her through the issue and then video called back to help further. She was really pleased with the service she received and now the Chimella is up and in place the room is so much warmer and less draughty, even in these really strong winds we’ve been having. Would definitely recommend this product and company.

Live in 18th Century stone farmhouse in rural South Wales. Bought the Chimella extra large. Most impressive company I've dealt with for many years. Quick delivery of order. Got call back in respect of query within 10 minutes of phoning and query resolved within couple of days. Got subsequent follow up call to make sure I was happy. Thank you Simon and your excellent team.

Had a problem operating my ‘umbrella’ so left a message on their website. Had a call back within 20mins and was guided through the operation and how to fix the issue. Excellent customer service.
