I want to share my experience with Chrono24 so that other users —especially buyers— understand how the platform may actually operate in certain situations.

I listed a Franck Muller watch with complete and verifiable documentation: original certificate from an authorized retailer (Suárez, El Corte Inglés, A Coruña, dated April 9, 2016), along with full photographic evidence, serial number, and complete set.

Despite this, Chrono24 removed the listing based on alleged “doubts” regarding authenticity:

- Without providing any evidence
- Without identifying the source of those doubts
- Without offering any verification procedure
- Without accepting the possibility of physical authentication

In other words, even when official and verifiable documentation is provided, the platform can take decisions that directly affect a seller’s reputation without offering any real possibility of defense.

What is particularly concerning —and worth highlighting— is their internal messaging system. I was contacted by another user who explicitly proposed conducting the transaction in person, which is strictly prohibited under Chrono24’s own rules. This interaction took place within their platform, yet no action appears to have been taken.

This raises serious concerns about how their own policies are enforced and whether user safety and platform integrity are being properly managed.

After several exchanges, Chrono24’s final response was to close the matter unilaterally, without transparency, without a concrete justification, and refusing any possibility of review or objective verification. This is, frankly, not the level of professionalism expected from a platform that claims to be a global reference in the luxury watch market.

The matter has now been referred to legal counsel and will be escalated through the appropriate consumer protection channels in Spain, Germany, and at EU level.

My recommendation is clear: approach this platform with caution. Situations like this raise legitimate concerns about its reliability, both for sellers and buyers, particularly when dealing with high-value items.

This matter will not be left unresolved.
