Firstly I am not an employee of CIBT and this is a genuine review . These guys handled my Chinese Visa and the whole process from Application to receipt of the visa took 10 days . Communication was excellent and even the consular visit for the document drop, photo and fingerprints took no more than 20 minutes where as those who had not used a agent told me they had been waiting for 3 hours or more . All in an excellent service

I have to warn future travelers with Uniworld against using their partner, CIBTVisas. After waiting three weeks, I found they had neglected my file. I applied directly though the Vietnam Immigration Department, but it looks like the visa will not arrive on time. It is also terrible that Uniworld doesn’t offer any compensation for the error their partner has made. Look out for yourself and avoid Uniworld’s partner I will probably avoid Uniworld altogether. Afterall, there are numerous companies that offer river cruises.

I was dreading using this company because of the poor reviews.
My experience was completely the opposite, I was kept informed throughout the process.
Any questions by email were promptly answered by Raechel.
The price was also very reasonable.
I definitely use them again.

Charged $21 (£16) by the US Visa's ,billed £30 by CIBT by the time my credit card bill arrived,very disappointing.

Dreadful - charged me over £230 for visas for my wife and myself............rejected my documents that I submitted to prove the date I would be in Indonesia on my world cruise with P&O Arcadia. If you mistakenly thought they would help you.............forget it and save your money

Applied for visas for Tanzania in December, they eventually arrived after much chasing (multiple phone calls to misnamed Titan Help Desk!) on 23th January, when we were due to travel on 24th! Staff uncaring and unhelpful, promised to get back to me several times but never did! When they did arrive visas had been granted by Embassy on 12th January, 11 days before CIBT forwarded them to me. If you want to avoid stress do not use this company.

I started to apply for a visa 6 months ago but decided not to bother finishing the application process, now 6 months later £174 has been taken from my credit card without reason. Needless to say that I'll be chasing them for my money back and confirmation that they have deleted my card details.
Also bear in mind that their number is an 0844 number which is a premium rate number which generates additional revenue for them.

Absolutely outrageous!

AVOID this company !! Fees DOUBLE other evisa providers , they do not answer their phones or at least takes 45 mins + to get thru . Called 5 x , 3 of the 5 consultants didnt even ask for my policy # so couldnt reference what I was asking until I finally told them . They were blindly answering my questions. Got 1 visa for Kenya but the cost of their fee - RIDICULOUS . Waiting for 1 more Visa, we'll see . Go with Sherpa !

WARNING. The number they use ( 0844 8004650 ) is very expensive. There's no warning about this. The did get my visa but companies that rip people off with this practice should be avoided.

Dreadful company. Needed 4 visas for cruise. Paid £900 for two people. One visa never came so missed Saudi Arabia port. Benin and Kenya visa eventually arrived. Made over 20 phone calls and 40 emails. Depending on who we spoke to different promises which never came.

CIBT should be avoided, plus all the 5 star reviews were written by company employees. This company is totally operated by China - you will not get back any refund if they don't deliver your visa on time, or ever. They are a black box - money goes in, but visas may or may not come back. You're dealing with a CCP-owned company which wants to stick it to you.

Submitted a Saudi visa for the director of my company - 8 working days in advance (processing time is 72 hours)
CIBT then followed up asking for 2 more documents and a change to a submitted document.
The information requested was not included in the visa pack nor mentioned in any of the documentation.

Traveller attended the interview and visa was granted the next day (the Tuesday) CIBT then told me the passport wouldn't be collected until Friday (as the travel date was on the Sunday) I chased and requested multiple times for information but it was confirmed the the passport would be collected on Friday.
Friday arrives (with additional confirmation of pick up that day) then at 2pm CIBT informed me they wouldn't be collecting the passport that day and gave no explanation as to why. This meant the whole trip had to be cancelled.
Monday arrives an CIBT then informs me they have lost the passport and it has been picked up by a stranger and now won't look into the issue for another 24 hours.
Do not use.

Company made a mistake when preparing my Visa documents. I have been chasing them for 3 days to fix the application so that I can submit. No reply yet.

I can say that I received the most disgraceful and worst service I have ever seen in my life from this company.
Absolutely disgraceful service. They got my visa date wrong and couldn't change it afterward. All my preparations for that day were canceled. Their response to emails is absolutely deplorable. employees don't care. Please read this and do not experience the situation I experienced and do not receive any service from them. Please.

Rehab has successfully assisted several times with Saudi Arabian Visas which can be a very daunting process. Rehab always responds to e-mails and queries in super quick timing and is very helpful. Nothing seems to much trouble. - Thank you Rehab!

Tried to help a friend to submit her multiple visa applications. She couldn’t get past the payment point, and CIBT staff kept on blaming her for the issue. I’ve worked in digital, including user interface design, for 30 years and I couldn’t get it to work. Each time I went to pay, the system charged £0.00, rather than the correct amount. Again, CIBT staff told me it was my error, despite its system’s inability to charge the requisite amount. The staff seem to have no customer focus at all — all they did was constantly tell me their system was correct, despite it being exceedingly obvious that it wasn’t. In the end, we gave up and successfully applied for the certificates direct from the countries concerned, all of which was very easy by comparison to CIBT’s useless service and attitude.

Great experience working with Rehab @ CIBT as my consultant for a Saudi Visa.
Successfully navigated me though the complex process, replied to all emails and queries super fast, and visa received earlier than expected.

These people don't get back to you if you have questions. They charged me 3 different types of "Rush" and Emergency" fees and charged my account without permission. and no one sends an invoice with the correct amounts. avoid at all cost.

I paid for nothing, they just made me loose time and had to do it all by myself in the end.
And I obviously wasn’t refunded

SAGA holiday recommended facilitator for Visas re upcoming Kenya/Tanzania trip. Disappointing start mindful they used to sort/fund visa from within your paid holiday cost.

Spent some time studying the CIBT website - keen to know what I’d be getting for £600 of fees (2x2 visa processing fee), on top of the £163 of visa fees themselves.

Transpires nothing more than a ‘checking’ service - with lots of info how could go horribly wrong if do it yourself. Guarantee to be the fastest way to get the visas.

At the end of the day, only you know all the information that has to be supplied to the authorities - or via CIBT.

Submitted direct to Authorities following U.K. government website details supplied. Received wife’s less than 24 hours after submission to Kenya, with mine the following day.

Ludicrous amount of time taken to collate all the information needed/specifications on pics etc, but straight forward enough to follow, and would have to supply all same to CIBT.
