Would have been a 5 star review but the ordering process for what I wanted was not as obvious in reality as the person I spoke to suggested and I had to pay £4 extra. Not a lot extra and I’ve used the service lots.

The thrill of receiving a dvd or mp3 with a recording you haven’t watched in ages is fantastic. I have had some problems in the past with dvd compatibility on a Phillips DVD player.

Most recently I had an 8mm cine film of my parents wedding from 1960 converted. I’d never seen the recording before and it was magical to watch. The ability to dub over some music is also a really nice touch.

Brilliant service and quality of transfers.

When I sent my super 8 cine film for digital transfer two things were of paramount importance: first, that the films should be returned in the state that they were sent and second, that the the result was a faithful rendition of the original image.This firm succeeded on both counts. The films were returned in the original containers and the pictures displayed an a large screen smart television were flicker -free sharp and colourful. I could not have been more pleased with the result.

A great pleasure to see 50 year old cine films again.

I am delighted with the DVD converted from an old cine film. It was transfered well. I was also pleased at how easy it was to order this service. It was straighforward and very quick.

DVD has produced a clear running colour image for our old family cine films. We will send them some more with sound. Now our relatives can see the family as it was in the 1960s. Thanks for your help and expertise.

My old cine films were acknowledged on receipt by Cine2DVD and an alert was sent by them to me when they were about to send the DVD and old films back. They were very securely packed and my old films had been spliced onto new larger reels.

Very prompt service with excellent results. I have used them twice a few years apart for cine and hi8 video and the DVDs and memory sticks produced have been very professional.

Although a little more expensive than some the firm provides a good service. The 35 small reels were copied to both DVD & a memory stick in the order I suggested with the film being cleaned first.
Posting was simple with the downloaded prepaid label & the films were returned within a few days. Excellent service. Unfortunately their price for larger reels meant it was uneconomic to use Cine2DVD for these.

Really pleased with the service and would recommend. Very quick and instructions easy to follow. Whole process ran smoothly. Tracked postage allayed fears of losing precious memories. Found old cine films when clearing out my dad’s house and did not think they would be very good quality but I am overjoyed with the results. I will be sending more.

I had an audio cine reel of over 60 yrs old been trying to find someone to transfer to computer file. Found Cine2dvd transfers who said they could help. Easy to arrange on line including setting up the postage label via a link on the site. Printed postage label and sent off via tracked royal mail just hand in at post office (postage is paid for) Returned within days via tracked mail. Reel and USB stick with file on retuned Very happy with the service. Even had a refund as it cost less than estimation.
