Receive numerous robocalls from various numbers daily! The voice-mail are all the same, "we have an update on your loan application" but I have nevwr applied for or spoken to anyone a out a loan. I block and report every number they call from but it's so annoying and exhausting.

I receive a ton of spam calls from this company, which have escalated into harassment. It happens at least twice a day, and I block and report every number that comes in. However, it's a different number every time. It's always a crappy, broken-up recording about a loan that supposedly can't be completed. WHAT LOAN??!! THERE IS NO LOAN. Occasionally, I get the feeling like, 'Maybe this is legit and they are really trying to get in touch with me,' and I answer. All it takes are some basic common sense questions to quickly determine that this IS A SCAM! These calls are so bad that I am considering blocking all numbers that aren't on my contact list. It's horrible; I wish whoever is in charge of this robocall scheme would die in a fire!!

I wish I could give this sham of a company zero stars.
Unfortunately, I was a client of City Lending in pursuit of a mortgage for my first home purchase. We worked with Loan Officer Kennedy and his team for this loan. The service was pitiful and I am in shock that we were able to close on our home. We put the offer on this house May 15th and were accepted on May 20th. Kennedy and his team began working on our loan and based on email threads we received, it was clear that for a good chunk of time, between May and June, nothing had been completed on the papers. My fiancé and I were actively replying and quick to send any documents requested, typically with a 24-hour turnaround time. We were set to settle on June 24th before my fiancé and I had to leave town for a work trip. That gave the team about four and a half weeks to complete our loan. From the beginning, Kennedy knew that we were using the MD Smart Buy Program and promised that it would be cleared within days due to a contact he had at the state office. Weeks went by where we only heard from the underwriter and on June 17th, a HOLIDAY weekend, the underwriter urgently calls us at 3 PM asking us to submit a BRAND NEW 20-page document ASAP as it was needed for the state application. WHY this document wasn’t sent to us WEEKS prior – I do not know. We were delayed 6 FULL days before being able to sign our papers. We scheduled and cancelled FOUR notary appointments due to City Lending's utter lack of drive, competency, and care. City Lending should be ashamed of their business practices. This is not how your treat clients who are eager, ready, and quick to provide documentation. I will NEVER use your services again and I will be sure to let any person buying a home know not to pursue your business. The fact we even had to pay the lending team sickened me to my core – the only thing we got out of this was a week of pure stress, a ruined business trip, and many burnt bridges.

City Lending is the pinnacle of incompetence. Their ineffectiveness is a major embarrassment to Loan Officers everywhere. There is no accountability. No fiduciary responsibility. Lies lies and more lies. Good luck leaving your family's financial future to these utter fools.

We found City Lending to be VERY unprofessional, unethical and an undermanaged company. The employees had no idea what they were doing, communication amongst staff was lacking. By far, it was the most anguishing experience we had to deal with. We had to change our closing date four times because loan wasn't processed in underwriting. Sabrina Swaby, (loan officer) was crude and clueless, she was requesting documents from us that we had already provided as well as having to send the same documents to different people multiple times. I had to take a day off from work to go into their offices in person to get answers, since no one was replying to our emails. KEEP AWAY from City Lending.

My experience with City Lending was amazing! I received a mail offer stating l qualified for either a refinance at a way lower interest rate OR option to trade in and jump in something newer for less than l was currently paying. While there, l was catered to with kindness and professionalism. I had many questions which they patiently answered and met all my needs. It worked out better for me to trade in my car which they worked hard to help me figure out a trade off because I was in a upside down situation. Nonetheless, it all worked out well, l left the same day with a newer upgraded vehicle and paying way less!! I left ecstatic 😁

After weighing all my options the best one for me was to get into a better car that. They referred me to an awesome dealership that did everything in their power to get me into my dream car THAT day. And none of it would have been possible without something as small as a phone call. City Lending does amazing work and deserve every star Thank You.
