Start to finish I had nothing but excellent service from Christina and her team, would thoroughly recommend

Very pleased with clarke estate agents, very polite, professional and helpful a pleasure to do business with.

I have found Clarkes Estate agents to be professional, friendly and supportive throughout the time they have marketed and sold my property.
Even though Covid19 and lockdown has created its difficulties, Clarkes has made the process workable and they have continued to do their upmost to provide the service they promised.
I have been very impressed with their communication over everything and they have never hesitated to return my calls or answer any
questions that I had along the way.
My property took seven months to sale but this was due to the climate we are living in and not any fault of Clarkes. During this time I had many viewers and three offers for the property which shows the tenacity and forward thinking of these agents.
I would have no hesitation in recommending their service to potential sellers.

Purchase went through well in the end but felt we had to keep chasing to get answers. The start was very good got a viewing within a couple of days. Nice touch though the box with useful items thank you.

Just a quick email to say thank you for all your hard work, we have been really impressed with Clarkes from the start and every thing felt really easy and straight forward in terms our purchase and sale.

My partner and I are first time buyers and we have dealt with many estate agents during our property hunt who have always shown the upmost respect and courtesy. After all, we’re the customers.

Our first dealing with Clarkes has resulted in absolutely disgraceful customer service, not to mention that we are dealing with a Director of this company who should be showing an example to many employees and customers alike.

The person in question was rude from the start. Extremely pushy, trying to manipulate my partner as if she’s an easy target and ultimately disrespecting us. We are young first time buyers, we’re not experts in the field, we are the ones with your pay check and ultimately, you need us to keep your job (customers).

He sounded desperate and scared, and in such unknown times in which the property market is clearly unstable, I would expect a little more care to be taken with customers, especially first time buyers.

From a Director of a reputable Estate Agents I did not expect such immaturity and arrogance. Plus the audacity to claim that the property market is, and I quote, “exploding”.

We are looking to get in multiple years of debt so that we can land our dream home and start a our lives together and all you are concerned about is a sale.

As I can’t attach photos, here is the transcript of the email:

“[Partners name] this is ok with me, however I now have concerns about both your intentions and if we arrange this, your viewing being cancelled when the property is sold to another party. Is this really what you want to do? ... you want to push it off by somewhere between 2-4 weeks? Right when market activity is exploding?
This seems somewhat at odds with an excited purchaser who wants to buy a property.

Please just level with me [Partners name] …. Do you want to take this further? If so, you need to find a way to be viewing it in the next day or so, placing and offer and getting solicitors working on a purchase early next week. Pushing this off until June is somewhat pointless.

We put our bungalow on with Clarke's in August to have a first buyer making an offer in October. Which unfortunately fell through .and to our amazement Marcus then sold it for us again 5 days later so the stress was over.
