We so enjoy booking with Classic Cottages. They are very professional indeed and answer any queries very promptly. We can’t recommend them highly enough.

Very efficient booking, excellent communication, very pleasant staff in every contact I made with them on the phone.
The property was excellent and of a very high standard, would thoroughly recommend the company.

Classic Cottages is one of the best agencies that we have ever stayed in. The quality of their cottages never fail to impress and the booking process is easy and the staff are friendly. This was our first time staying with Classic and we will definitely use them for all our self catering cottage needs.

Had a great time staying in the Alpaca Hideaway, Google Maps led us the right direction which made things a lot easier considering we were also given instructions from the owners. Weather was on the downside but we had high hopes and enjoyed the hot tub and also the views.

Loved having a cuddle with an Alpaca, an experience we won't forget and learnt a baby Alpaca is called a Cria.

Lovely hosts and always there to help if needed.

Naughty, Naughty!

The cottage we stayed in was generally good (lanthorn cottage, St Helen's, Iow. However the management company is poor. Little things like unemptied bins, used nail files, messy garden described as "wild", broken shower hose, no mop or broom/brush, broken freezer drawer with previous occupants 'goodies' in it, poorly described parking space, inadequate clothing storage, only 1 set of keys for a 6 person property...Someone let themselves into the property when we were still in bed without knocking. They phoned to ask if we wanted our bedding changed, we agreed, stripped the beds, no one turned up then they told us we had heard the wrong date...just lots of little things that made it all a bit unpleasant and no value for money.
If I were the owner I'd ask for a discount in management fee or to drop them altogether. Oh and for Classic Cottages to communicate properly with us. They've ignored us for weeks now and I asked for our comments to be referred to the property owner. Nothing...

A good “holiday accommodation” company to book a break with! The online process is simple, and if you do need to call customer service they respond efficiently and quickly!
Their web page is easy to follow, and in our experience, the descriptions are accurate.
We’ve used them for several short break bookings now, and we can definitely recommend Classic Cottages!
There’s no doubt that we’ll be looking to book with them again in the near future.

Second visit to this cottage. It is well equipped, spotlessly clean, has comfortable furniture and lovely beds.
the owners and housekeeper are lovely too!
Very peaceful location in beautiful countryside.

Fantastic cottage in beautiful surroundings. Within a 30 mile radius of most tourist destinations and The Eden Project only 10 minutes drive away. Par Beach is a 2 mile drive and plenty of local shops and pubs to trial. The cottage is a beautiful period Barn conversion with plenty of space and plenty of original features.

We stayed in Portreath, cornwall. Classic made themselves available via communications via email. So any probelms could be discussed. There was also the option of dealing directly with the owner. So had comfort that we were being looked after and enjoying our own space for the week. Cottage was well presented and was very happy.

Rented a large property from Classic for a family group. Property was perfectly described and Classic kept in contact throughout our stay to ensure our holiday went well. We had a minor issue with a piece of equipment which they were pro active in resolving extremely well. Very impressed with their service.

Property condition was disappointing but equally on this occasion the Web Site Listing was materially inaccurate as the listing had clearly not been updated for several years and was factually inaccurate in several ways.

The Garden was presented as football sized for children and when we got there half of it had been fenced off as they have converted the garage into an annex at the rear of the property. There was also an access gate into the Garden that was news to us.

To give you a flavour of the condition several of the rooms had dodgy door handles with the potential to lock people into rooms a clear health and safety hazard , the patio furniture was falling apart and not fit for purpose. The Microwave turn table didn't turn. The bedroom furniture was grubby and in dire need of repainting.

The electrics were questionable with a loose socket in the single bedroom, and we also experienced the trip cutting out for the kitchen on several occasions

Clearly the owners use the property themselves demonstrated by several locked cupboards and an attic room as well as smelly doggie beds and toys stuffed into a chest in the lounge.

Whilst I understand that with larger properties the attrition and wear is probably constant a lot of this is just poor maintenance which could easily be resolved and its a great shame that a property in such a brilliant location doesn't get the attention it deserves.

But my main gripe is that despite raising a complaint and providing pictures etc I havnt even had a response from classic cottages at all not even an apology they have however amended the Listing .

Not sure what is more disappointing the niggles and issues with the property itself or the complete indifference from Classic Cottages to date. I have left a similar but less detailed review on their web site which to their credit they have posted.

I remain somewhat bemused that no one even bothered to talk to me about it, particularly as I have previously used and highly recommended the same agency. Next years booking will be elsewhere

Delightfully spacious cottage in a pretty location.
Everything thought of for an enjoyable stay with family and friends .. and spotlessly clean. Would highly recommend .. we loved it and will return for sure!

Classic Cottages are fantastic.
I have used them for many years and always had a good booking experience along with quality properties.
My recent holiday I unfortunately locked us out of the property and Classic Cottages were wonderful, resolving our problem with such speed and good will. I cannot recommend this company enough. Book with them and you’ll be in safe hands.

We loved this place. Stayed in lots of places in the Uk and this place was like a mini Oasis. Everything about it was superb.
We got beautiful sun rises and sun sets. Hot tub and pizza oven were added luxuries.

I am thoroughly pleased with every aspect of booking my holiday through Classic Cottages. Easy of booking, great follow up info and very informative guest portal. A smooth operation from start to finished. Fantastic, top quality property too.

loved the views,the kitchen is very well equiped.the downstairs wet room is wet!!.the pool temperature is all over the place from way too cold to perfect,there is a pay for pool table and free table tennis table there,lovely walks (weather permitting)-we were there for Hurricane week!.

Perfect property with an outstanding view. 5 minutes drive to some of the best beaches Cornwall has and walking distance to a great pub.

The website is very well designed and provides all the important information. The contents correspond to reality. We got very good advice on queries about booking. We got all the necessary information about the accommodation before arrival on time. The cottage we booked was of a very good standard and met all our expectations. The owners were very hospitable.
