I purchased a razor/brush stand from this online vendor, but discovered upon receiving the package that my Dorco razor handles are too wide for the stand. I rewrapped the brand-new, never-used stand so I could return it. The website has NO information on return policies, so I emailed to ask how to initiate a return. The response was a curt email stating that they give no refunds, and a link to their 'policy' that is nowhere on the actual site navigation, only via the link you get from them AFTER the sale. What is most pathetic is the email comes from "customerservice@" which is a complete oxymoron! Customer service usually means providing a reasonable refund policy, not taking the customer's money and then thumbing your nose!

They lost my case that goes with my straight razor which was extremely disappointing. The razor also came back drenched in oil saturating the scales and everything, dripping oil like they dipped my straight razor in a quart of oil. All in all, I had an extremely sloppy experience which is exactly what you don't want for your straight razor. I would give them zero stars if I could. SERVICE YOU CANNOT TRUST is a service you should never use. Don't invest in regret.

This was to be my first purchase with Classic Shaving. Placed my order 1 September and the order still shows unfulfilled with my $340.94 showing paid. Sent several emails with absolutely no response from them. It has been almost 2 weeks with their head in sand. Extremely poor business ethics.

The product I received was exactly as it was shown in the photo and that to me is very important and I would like to add that the delivery was quite fast as well. Thanks

I ordered the Dovo 5/8 straight razor and paid for the blade to be professionally sharpened. Unfortunately, a sub-par blade arrived with a significant imperfection for one that was sharpened by a professional honemeister. I simply asked for a refund of the sharpening price and received what can only be described as rude, condescending, and holier-than-thou e-mails from the customer support supervisor. When I called I was told that my only recourse was to send the blade back to the "professional" honemeister to have it re-sharpened, the same person that messed it up in the first place. I was told that there was no person that I could appeal my issues to, and that the customer support supervisor had the final say.

Unfortunately, according to the customer service representatives, there was no place that we could meet in the middle, and there was only one option. In my view it is the principle of the matter, that I received a product that was sub-par, and subsequently, received even worse customer service. Its hard to think of a time when I received worse customer service.

Recommend it without any kind of reservation. Product as described and as good as the one I bought 55 years ago in Charlotte Amalie, Saint Thomas, U. S. A., V. I., during my honey moon. Well package. Will gladly purchase from this seller again. Thanks you for the memories.

Very low quality disappointed

Five years ago when I bought my first shaving supplies from CS, I was looking for a way to get a better shave without having to buy the latest plastic "gadget" razor/razor blades sold at big box stores. Five years have passed and I am still using this site for all my shaving needs, and have never had a negative shopping experience. CS is my favorite online shopping site. It's rare when you can find products that are 1. unique and not mainstream 2. quality products that can last a lifetime, and 3. save money in the long run (in this case I save money by purchasing lower-cost blades and shaving soaps). This is one of the few sites where you can get that type of result. I'm still getting great shaves and would never go back to the "gadget" razor system.

It seems like a longish time to me, but then I'm pretty impatient. Still I'd like to have what I ordered.

Classic Shaving doesn't have the largest selection of supplies, but everything that I have ordered has been top quality and has arrived quickly.

I ordered just a shaving brush almost a year ago. It was out of stock and back ordered. I completely forgot all about it. The other day, I get this package in the mail, with a note explaining that the brush I ordered still hadn't come it, but here was a more expensive brush, at no extra cost, and as a bonus some free shaving soaps. The people at ClassicShaving.com went above and beyond what they had to. That's amazing customer service. I can't recommend them enough!

I ordered a vintage straight razor and was very pleased with the product. Exactly as was advertised, and delivered promptly! Will certainly not hesitate to do business with them again...

I received my order in a timely manner, it is everything I expected and more. There's nothing like a pleasant shaving experience,and theses products definitely have a lot to do with mine!

I ordered one shaving soap and the company packed another complimentary bar in the order. I was really surprised by that. They must be proud of their product to do that. I've used the soap with good shaving results.

Anything you need, great service, fantastic products, ships quickly and arrives in a timely fashion. I have shopped this site for 3 years now and will continue to do so for as long as I need to whisk hairs off of my face.

I have to admit I was worried about sending my razor away to be honed. I did get the razor back and it was expertly honed, very sharp! Excellent service!

Is all perfect from site and customer service many thanks, the only problem is the italian custom for the time of management.
