Fraudulent SIM Swap
This company called me on the phone on 7th, 8th and 12, claiming to be working for Vodafone and 3 Network. I believed them because my 3 Network SIM was due for contract renewal and a telephone agent had also on the 7th told me that 3 Network was merging with Vodafone.
On Tuesday, 18/11/2025, this company called me claiming once again to be acting on behalf of Vodafone and 3 Network. They initiated the online contract which I signed.
The new SIM was sent to me by Royal Mail on Saturday, 29/13/2025. I was informed that I should only change my phone as soon as it stops working.
My phone stopped working on Wednesday, 03/12/2025. I then took my phone to the 3 Network store at Wood Green. There I was informed that the SIM I am asking them to change to is not a 3 Network phone.
I spent about hours plus at the 3 Network, because they tried calling this company to find out why they deceived me about the merger between Vodafone and 3 Network and to request that they should terminate the contract for which the Vodafone SIM card was provided.
Initially they request a termination fee of £14, but myself and the 3 Network staff informed this company that I only received the SIM card via Royal Mail on Saturday, 29/13/2025. They then said they will see what they can do.
They started passing us from one telephone operator to another. They eventually stopped picking our calls. We then called 3 Network's head office who also denied knowing Clear Vision Communications Ltd.
I then emailed them on Thursday, 04/12/2025, requesting that they should terminate the contract that I signed with them on 18/11/2025 within 24 hours or else I will report them to Action Fraud.
They then called me on Thursday around 12 noon promising to terminate the contentious contract, but still haven't done this. This is causing me distress and is already affecting my work.
I have in the meantime contacted Halifax Bank to not activate any direct debit claims from this company, because they are clearly acting under false pretence.
I will be filling a report to Action Fraud about the behavior of this company. I need them to terminate the contract that they deceived me into signing and return my phone to its original 3 Network platform.
Kind regards,
Kono.
