We would like to reassure you—and others reading this—that your funds were successfully disbursed to you on 9th April 2025, in accordance with the timeline provided after we received payment from Amigo. As was explained by the file handler you spoke with, depending on your bank or building society’s processing times, payments can take 3–5 working days to appear in your account.

Please be assured that CLM does not withhold client funds. Your payment was processed as soon as it became available to us. That said, we fully recognise how important timely communication is, and we are actively reviewing our internal processes to ensure clients feel fully informed and supported throughout.

However, we utilize secure electronic signature systems that track and verify signatures, including linking them to the IP address and email address from which they were submitted. This process helps ensure that agreements are properly authorized by our clients.

Regarding your concern about court action, we want to clarify that this would only be relevant if you chose to proceed with a claim independently after significant work had been completed on your behalf by our team. Our Contingency Fee Agreement clearly outlines the terms of cancellation and fees, including the 14-day cooling-off period that allows clients to cancel without penalty. Beyond that period, clients may still cancel, but we reserve the right to charge our full fee for the work already completed if they decide to continue the claim without our assistance.
