Really want to love this machine and company, but so far, it's a mixed bag.
1) Fulfillment/Delivery: XPO delivered the machine on 11/29. A set of screws were missing from the box so the machine could not be fully assembled by XPO. CLMBR later sent me the missing screws, so the machine was fully assembled by me on 12/6. (Note: There were two XPO employees at my house for the delivery and initial assembly, one of which was professional, the other who was not at all (i.e. watching sports on his phone for most of the visit, barely contributing)).
2) Resistance: The resistance, even at max "11" is not substantial, and certainly nothing close to the resistance on the Versaclimber. CLMBR provided technical instructions on how to make sure that the resistance is correct, which it seems like it is (unfortunately). This could be a dealbreaker.
3) Squeaky Noise: The squeakiness from the machine (both sides) is unbearably annoying, so I submitted a video to CLMBR customer service. No response yet. The only way to use the machine without going crazy from the noise is to connect bluetooth headphones and put it on a very loud volume. That's not acceptable, and will be a dealbreaker unless they can fix this.
4) Classes. The instructors are pretty good. The music selection is ok albeit a bit random and makes me wonder if they have to pay higher licensing fees for more popular tracks? My MAJOR critique on the classes is technical: the music track does not sync up with the instructor's rhythmic cues. This is a big miss because the fun of the workout is so much about rhythm. When the music is off beat with the instructor, it takes a lot of the fun away. This would be a dealbreaker for the monthly membership, but I think this is very fixable on their end.

That all said, I want to love this machine. The climbing motion is so much fun. But I am not convinced yet that the hardware, the content, and the customer service are even in the ballpark of Peloton, though their pricing is certainly premium.

If I could rate this negative 10 I would!!! First it took a good part of the year to get our machine. However we were paying months for a machine we didn’t even have. When we finally get our machine about a month ago went to do first workout and it’s broke doesn’t even work. My husband FaceTimed with a rep and the tension belt was broke!!! Broke on a machine that has never even been worked out on!!!! After multiple phone calls we are back to waiting for someone to tell us what they are going to do to make right. So now we have a machine we are paying for that doesn’t even work and has been taken apart in pieces per the reps instructions and still never been used!!!!! Horrible company if I could get my money back and send this machine in the broken state it is in back I would!!! Never have they offered anything to make this right horrible company!!!

CLMBR is incredible! Honestly the best addition to my daily routine. I have never felt more happy and physically fit. It is the perfect solution to the work form home drag. It also keeps me moving throughout the day. Banging out a quick 15-20 minute killer workout allows me to be as productive as possible throught the day without missing movement. The classes are great with motivating music and energy. The only thing I would like to see improvement on is wifi connectivity or being able to play the classes on the smartphone app for times when wifi isn't cutting it to load the classes. Very happy with my purchase and absolutely LOVE my daily CLMBR routine.

Good machine. Like the classes so far. My problems with it is one the right side makes a lot of noise. My other issue is that the metrics don’t line up with the workout. Also there’s no way of putting in my stats for an accurate calorie burn. My watch has me at 500 calories for a 45 minute hit which is awesome btw, but the machine has me at 150.

So grateful for the CLMBR team. From the beginning, they have taken time (way more than they had to) to guide me through my purchase. I’ve had the pleasure to meet the team and couldn’t be more thankful for an exceptional group of people who are committed to delivering the best experience along with the best climbing machine in the industry. I’ve watched them face the challenges everyone is facing and deliver even when it’s out of their control. Our clients love the CLMBR and we can’t wait to continue to grow with the CLMBR community and team. Thank you for everything…LET’S CLIMB!

I really want to like this machine. The machine was put together incorrectly and I didn’t have access to the platform the first week I had it.

There is a terrible squeak on right side of the machine.

The left handle sticks and has knocked me in my head.

The teachers are great leaders and easy to follow but sometimes the call out queues do not match the screen metrics.

I also wish there was more variety of music. I took classes for years at Rise Nation and loved that there was more variety in genres of music.

Can't get a hold with anybody in CLMBR customer service...immediately sent to voicemail to leave a message.

I have the CLMBR in the gym that I own and everyone who has used it loves it. I always point it out to new prospects when we tour and they're very impressed. It's very unique--seems that no other gyms in the area have any type of climbing machine. It is so well-made and sturdy--it doesn't move at all when you're on it as some maker's flimsier models would. It's a VERY effective cardio workout--10-15 minutes and you're good! There are a variety of instructor-led classes of all different lengths right on the machine.

The team at CLMBR follows through on every promise they make and that is invaluable when the customer has so many other projects going on simultaneously. The team at the club is so excited to show off their new toy and the members are building enthusiasm to experience a new alternative.

Great workouts so far. No complaints. The only reason for not giving it 5 stars is because I’ve only used the machine for about 7 exercises so I want to leave a little room for improvement.

So far our CLMBR had been great!!! Had one hardware issue that was quickly addressed! We are having a great time with it!!

I spent $2500 on this machine and used it for 1 week. After about 5 normal uses, the machine starting making knocking noises so I immediately stopped use and made a ticket with customer service. Turns out the pulley in the right arm broke and now the machine won’t function so I’ve been waiting for resolution for 2 weeks. Customer service says they may have to send me a new arm or new machine but that can take several weeks! For the price I paid, I would expect the unit to be more durable? If if was a fluke issue (sometimes that happens) I would expect a new machine or replacement part expedited so I could be up and running fast.

Having the Climbr has been a great experience. Worth the price!. I'm a personal trainer, so being able to offer my clients this amazing form of cardio is an advantage.

CLMBR is well designed and well built, and offers a vigorous workout. I really like the monitor which records your workouts and provides metrics including time of workout, feet climbed and calories burned. With the monitor you can also benefit from online workouts. I bought my CLMBR to upgrade from a cheaper vertical climber that I purchased last year, which also gave me a good workout but the CLMBR is just a superior piece of equipment. I use my CLMBR 3-5 times per week for 30 min and it’s a great workout. I highly recommend CLMBR

MIND BLOWING , I already seeing effects in body , have a before pic and can’t wait for the 1 month after . Not one to get up at 6 am for a workout but this gets me up. Has easy and HARD work outs

Really disappointed. Waited 6 months for the machine. On delivery day it came 3 hrs after the delivery window without any notice or call that they were delayed. The machine came broken! One of the handle bars was broken and could not be assembled properly even by the technician. Now I have a non-functioning machine taking up space in my home. Customer service is overwhelmed and were hard to get in touch with. They were unable to fix the problem over the phone and now I have to wait for a new part or a new machine which will take months.

Worst experience. I'm writing this on behalf of someone too. Ordered CLMBR and waited forever for delivery. Once it finally arrived, he received a used product. How do we know it was used? There were scratches all over it and it was difficult to assemble, as there were missing pieces to the machine. Once assembled, there was ZERO resistance no matter how much resistance he put on the machine. I thought the nightmare would be over, but pick up never happened. It took over a month to schedule it and once the day came, the XPO driver never knocked on our door. He took a picture of our door and left. Now he's waiting for a new pick up date and wasted 4 months of his time. I can't wait to get rid of this thing in our home. It's clunky, takes up too much space, and doesn't work. BRAVO!

This machine is absolutely awesome! Like many others, I placed my order in late 2020 with an initial anticipated ship date of spring 2021. Well, not surprisingly the CLMBR Team was not immune to the worldwide supply chain disruption nightmare, and it took a little longer than anticipated for me to get the unit, which I eventually got in November 2021. Throughout the numerous delivery date modifications, the CLMBR Customer Service Team was excellent and did everything that they could to communicate the changes and keep me informed of the latest updates.

Now onto the machine itself:
This thing is FANTASTIC! The instructors are fun and guide you through challenging workouts backed by a great soundtrack, the machine is very smooth and easily adjustable to multiple heights/handle positions, and there is a variable resistance knob that can flip the workout from a leisurely climb to simply break a sweat to a full body burning, soul crushing, "do I have it in me" intense training session, all with the simple turn of a knob. The overall design is awesome, and the machine itself was pretty easy to assemble.

I have been a fan of vertical climbing workouts for a few years, and I think CLMBR is the perfect solution for anyone looking for a quick (if desired), effective, and exciting workout.

Obviously, it is priced toward the higher end of the home fitness equipment spectrum, but the overall experience and effectiveness make it a worthwhile investment.

I was supposed to have received my machine mid July and I still haven’t got it‼️ I get emails stating that I will be contacted within the next week (twice now) and have still not heard from anyone several days later than last email to them. I just googled “is the CLMBR machine a scam” and came up with this site. I am NOT HAPPY‼️
