Amazing service from start to finish.
What can I say we used CM Removals and had a fab service from start to finish. A huge shout out to Tim the owner who was so patient and accommodating with our lengthy chain and changeable move dates. Relocating from Chelmsford to Norwich was a big deal for us as a family let alone during lockdown, so I am super grateful for these guys for making it such a smooth, fast and friendly transition. My response to CM Removals
Do not touch this company with a barge pole. We booked them to do our move on the 17/11/20. Our moving date was 18/12/20. Tried contacting them numerous times on the Thursday before our move on the Friday without success, left several messages but no response. At 3am yes 3am on the day of our move we received a text message from Tim saying he cannot move us today as he was receiving treatment for Covid and then says in the same text that we did not confirm the moving date which is utter rubbish. Why is he giving 2 separate reasons that he cannot do the move. He did not respond to our text and did not make any apology for this unbelievable behaviour. What sort of person behaves in such a manner when moving house is such a stressful time.

THE CUSTOMER IS NOT ALWAYS RIGHT !
I visited Mr Flynn on 14/8/20 and provided a competitive quotation.
Mr Flynn accepted the quotation and was instructed to complete the form and scan and email it back to our office which he did on 17/11/20.
We delivered all packaging materials upon receipt and in a prompt professional manner.
On the 20/11 /20 Mr Flynn emails my office and wrote â The date everyone is working to is December 18thâ
As this was nearly a month in advance we considered this to be a rough idea of completion date as he had not tick the confirmed box on the form or confirmed it as a definite date of removal at any stage by phone, email or verbally.
I then heard nothing whatsoever from Mr Flynn until the day before removal being the 17/12 at when he left a voicemail asking what time would we be turning up in the morning.
I was self isolating at the time as I had tested positive for coronavirus on 15/12 hence he had to leave a voicemail.
I picked up all the voicemails that evening and heard his message at which stage I contacted him immediately and said we would not be attending as we were fully booked and had no resources available to carry out his move.
He was very unhappy and said â I canât believe you have done this to me what am I suppose to do now and hung up on me.
I did tell him that I had not heard from him in any way shape or form for nearly a month and he never confirmed the booking at any stage.
After he put the phone down on me I tried to call round other local companies to see if they could assist. Mr Flynn to no avail.
Mr Flynn had in excess of 70 new boxes ,roll of bubble wrap, tape and wrapping paper delivered and we never received a penny , so we are actually out of pocket as a company.
I am disappointed and hurt by Mr Flynnâs review but at no stage did he confirm the date and you certainly cannot confirm 100% a completion date nearly a month before.
We have not survived 2 recessions in the industry and been around for nearly 20 years
providing a poor service.
In fact every job we do has a customer review card to be completed and returned to our office after each move.
We pride ourselves on the highest standards of service and professionalism.
Iâm afraid this is a case of a client not confirming the date and only getting in touch the night before the removal date.
No payment was ever take and our terms and conditions on our acceptance form clearly state payment 3 working days prior to the move date so why did Mr Flynn not call to make payment ?

Disappointing
We accepted a quote and signed the form and was advised to contact them when we had a confirmed date of moving. We followed this instruction and contacted them on the 16th November advising that we would be moving on the 18th. The gentlemen confirmed and said ok see you in a couple of days to which we corrected them and advised the 18th December. He then thanked us for letting him know and that he would pencil us in. We have since contacted them today just to confirm all ok for the 18th December for him to be extremely rude and advise that it isn't possible and they were booked up. I am disgusted at the customer service and would not recommend. They have now made what is already a stressful situation worse with only 9 days to find another company. Shame on you.

Used them back in 2019, Guys were fantastic, started at 8am moving from a two bed flat to another local 2 bed flat, all finished by 12:30, took great care with our stuff and nothing was too much trouble even stuff not included in the original quote. Very competitive price, will happily use them again for our next move. 10/10.
