Completed two diplomas at Code Institute (Full Stack Development and Data Analytics with AI) and got real, portfolio-ready projects out of both. Great mentorship and support throughout. Highly recommend if you want hands-on, practical skills for a career in tech.

Well structured intro course - look forward to studying more with them

Title: Very poor communication and total lack of human support
I tried to enrol on the Full Stack course and made an honest mistake submitting my assessment early, after the system incorrectly showed me it had passed. Since then, I have reached out multiple times asking for help, to re-take the assessment or speak to someone to resolve this.

All I received was automated replies and AI responses. No one ever called, no one answered my questions properly, and no one took responsibility. It feels like complete ghosting — they say they will contact you, but they never do. I am fully committed to learning coding, I have the will and the dedication, but I am being ignored and locked out over one simple error.

If you are looking for a serious provider that actually supports students, this is not it. They show no respect for people who genuinely want to build a better future. Very unprofessional.

I recently completed the Level 3 Software Development course with the Code Institute, and it was a fantastic introduction to a completely new field for me. Learning remotely was a first, but the way the course was structured with clear modules, steady pacing, and support from a dedicated facilitator, made the whole experience manageable and surprisingly efficient.

For anyone with little to no coding experience, this course is a solid starting point. It not only teaches the fundamentals of software development but also shows you how to use practical AI tools along the way.

A real highlight was being invited to a Teams call with Lorraine Hall, the CEO who is genuinely inspiring!

I’d recommend this programme to anyone considering to learn about coding and computer languages in general. It wasn’t always easy, but the guidance and support were there when I needed it, and the journey was absolutely worth it.

This course is extremely intensive and will push you to your limits, but the satisfaction of completing it seriously outways the year of heart ache, stress, anxiety and loss of self!

No prior knowledge is necessary (apparently), however, do yourself a favour and learn some html and css before your start to give yourself a fighting chance.

All the course material is comprehensive and your support is in place to assist you, but it is ultimately down to you to do it. Basically, what you put in is what you get out of it!

I finished full stack development, and it was a great way to get started with programming. You really get to learn the basics in a way that lets you create fully functional small projects.

It was definitely fun, and I’m already using some of the skills in my non-programming job.

While the content is a bit dated, it provided nice and structured learning. The learning platform update came almost at the end of my studies, which showed that the school is actively developing and updating its platform. .

The process is not neurodivergent friendly in afraid. I was asked to complete the introduction course and write a 500 word statement & book another interview (this is after having to write a statement to even get through as well as a quick interview) however, if you weren’t someone who could complete this in less than 4-5 days then chances are you won’t get a space. (based on who can complete this faster because, would be best if everybody had the same length of time and only after receiving all statements they make a decision otherwise the process doesn’t seems fair).
Only once I’d completed these and booked in an interview, I was told the spaces are gone. If you are someone who works at a slower pace and has to take the time to process the content in the intro course, then the process probably isn’t the best for you.

It was challenging, interesting and fair.

As a new student, I can confidently say that this is an excellent institute for learning. From my initial experience at the GBS campus in Birmingham, and the introduction to the Code Institute, it is clear that there are strong opportunities here to turn aspirations into reality. The environment is welcoming, supportive, and focused on helping students develop both academically and professionally.

The structure of the programme, combined with the resources available, provides a solid foundation for growth and success. It is encouraging to be part of an institution that values innovation, practical skills, and continuous development. I believe this experience will play a significant role in shaping my future and helping me achieve my long-term goals.

I am genuinely excited and motivated to be part of this curriculum, and I look forward to engaging fully with the learning journey ahead.

only thing this was good for was getting my into a REAL university for a REAL qualification.

what an absolute waste of time and money, i would have been better going to a local college and doing a access to uni course.

they also removed and hid everything in slack to move to discord which is an absolute ghosttown

I finished a Full-Stack Engineering Development specialized in Predictive Analytics from Code Institute and I must say that I have gained knowledge and I was very well treated by the Student Care Team and Monitors.

Highly recommended!

Otroligt att man kan betala så mycket pengar för en värdelös kurs

I have spent the last few days with various members of the Code Institute team undergoing their selection process for the Data Analytical and AI course. I cannot stress how helpful, professional and thorough the entire team are and how welcoming they make you feel. During the entire process, I felt very much at ease by their friendly and supportive approach. In the future, when I qualify, this is definitely a company that I would be willing to work for.

Every engagement was swift, seamless, and handled with professionalism and responsiveness.

I rate grate because all course was very constructive and easy to understand for me. It was good experience which give me opportunity to understand the entry of Data Analytics. Basic entry program encourage me to want to know more in this discipline. I hope to entry more complicated area of that study and be explained as good as basics by Code Institute. Overall I am very happy to know more again. Hope to continue with you .

Have you met anyone who got a job off the back of this course? No, they don't exist.
Frankly "Update your linkedin" is not the sort of help I hoped for in finding a job. Also, all junior positions seem to want 2-3 years experiences.
The job of 20 developers can be done by one person and Ai now, so this is a dead industry except for really experienced people.

AOVID! 6,000euro the price for this course does not reflect the quality of outcome. Lesson videos are 4 or 5 years old. Students only get surface level education. Projects are developed on existing templates, the education is not enough to deviate from the template, there is no debug/code assistance other than 'check the template'. You can get a better education for free via Harvard CS50 - I was able to complete CS50 in the time it took CI to mark my final projects.

Projects are a pass fail marking system with 3 attempts. It seems designed to filter people out from completing the course. I suspect because they offer job placement help, fewer that finish fewer jobs they need to find.

Dreadful course for beginners! Avoid at all costs! Your better off using Udemy or Codecademy if your a beginner. This is way too fast paced and no literature if you’re doing the 5 day taster. You need to have basic knowledge before you start

Was very clear instruction with well explained examples & concepts. Well worth it if you want to just dip your toes in to see if it is for you.
