They tried to charge me 6 days after an initial small charge for a colour analysis. Luckily my bank declined the transaction. Never again.

The product is pretty limited and quite clunky. It is critical of every outfit you wear and upload for feedback so there’s no winning. It diminishes your sense of self worth which, let’s be honest, wasn’t red hot when initially downloading an app like this anyway.
The cancellation process is extremely lengthy and convoluted. I thought I had cancelled months ago just to find my card was charged again yesterday - I had to go to three separate websites like a game of ping-pong to actually cancel (and I won’t believe it till the next debit date comes and goes without money leaving my account). I’m unable to delete my bank card details out of their app which I strongly disagree with as my personal details remain online.

Wish I had checked Trustpilot first. I got drawn in by the $1 offer. For an AI analysis that seemed fair. Only after I submitted my payment was it clear that the $1 was for a trial period and that I'd automatically have to pay $29.99 every three months. The first analysis seemed way off so I resubmitted a photo. I accidently resubmitted the same photo. But glad I did because it gave me a different result from the same phot and analysis. The "try on your colors" feature was kind of cool when it worked. Which it didn'twork well. But even if it did, this would not be worth the price. So I tried to cancel. Took me forever to find the link to get to where you cancel. Then I had to go through several questions and decline some offer before it finally took me....wait for it....to instructions on how to log into someplace else to actually cancel. I hope that even went through, but at this point I'm thinking it is a total scam and I should have known better.

No mention of a subscription which is so wrong. I cancelled due to this.

Hidden charge, that's how they make their money. Wouldn't bother, app isn't accurate anyway. Look elsewhere

It was fun to try once, but I wouldn't use it again. The analysis felt too general, and I didn't like how the pricing wasn't very obvious at first.

Scam!!!! Just like the other reviews have said, this is a scam and the only way you can cancel your unwanted subscription is to contact your bank and have them to prohibit any charges coming in the future!

I personally am contacted the Attorney General’s office because this is horrendous!

DON'T DO IT. COMPLETE SCAM! CASH-WISE, YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO REACH ANYONE TO CANCEL YOUR SUBSCRIPTION, VERY SKETCHY WAY OF CANCELING WHEN YOU FINALLY GET A RETURN EMAIL "LINK" TO CANCEL THE 7 DAY "FREE TRIAL". THIS IS A VERY SHAMEFUL WAY OF KEEPING SUBSCRIBERS. I'M REPORTING TO BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU ASAP.

This is a total scam. I paid the $1 -74p for the 7 day free trial. Cancelled it within half hour as it was completely rubbish. Have proof of my cancellation 7 days later they took £22 from my bank.
They have not replied to emails I wish I had seen these reviews first I could kick myself as I usually do my due diligence.

I did see the small print which is why I cancelled immediately as I saw the auto subscription but ye they still took the money.

I use this app because it says they charge 1 dollar. And now I have being charge several times for $29, and they don’t want to refund my money.

An absolute SCAM. They continue to charge me when I never enrolled in a subscription and have been continually trying to cancel. I removed all apps and am disgusted by customer service. DO NOT DOWNLOAD as they will keep charging.

I agreed to pay 1 dollar, and never saw anything about further subscriptions, up until I saw a deduction on 3 March 2026. This company is a scammed of note.

On 03 March 2026, I received a bank notification that a deduction was made for color-analysis.pro, the equivalent of 29 dollars, in South African rands. I them immediately wrote to this company on 03 March 2026, at 18h56.

I then received the following response on 03 March 2026 @ 23h31, which reads as follows.

Thank you for reaching out. I understand your concern and apologize
for any confusion. When you signed up, a 7-day trial began, and after
the trial ended, it automatically converted into a subscription as
described on the payment page, in the confirmation email, and in our
Terms of Use. That’s why you saw the additional charge.

I’ve cancelled your subscription so no further charges will be made,
and I’ve also processed a refund of $29.90 to your original payment
method. Please allow a few business days for it to appear in your
account, depending on your bank.

If you have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to let me
know—I’ll be happy to help.

As you can see, cancelation is confirmed & its stating a refund has been processed.

I also got a cancelled confirmation email, on 03 March 2026 @ 23h31, which reads as follows.

I then sent a message to thank this Emma, for her understanding. I thought this was concluded, as I'd even received a downloadabe refund statement dated 03 March 2026, citing that it would take 5 to 10 days for refund to appear on my statement. I then forgot about this matter, and waited for refund.

It's only today, 15 March 2026, after realizing that I haven't yet received my refund, that I decided to follow up with 'Emma'. I was shocked when I realized there was a second mail that was also sent on 03 March 2026, also on on the exact same time, 23h31.

This gaslighting email reads as follows.

Thank you for reaching out. I understand your concern and apologize
for any confusion. When you signed up, a 7-day trial began, and after
the trial ended, it automatically converted into a subscription as
described on the payment page, in the confirmation email, and in our
Terms of Use. That’s why you saw the additional charge.

I’ve gone ahead and cancelled your subscription so no further charges
will be made. However, we don’t see any prior attempts to cancel
before the renewal. According to our refund policy, available at
color-analysis.pro refund, we’re unable to issue a refund in this
case.

If you have any other questions, please don’t hesitate to let me
know—I’ll be happy to help.

Today, 15 March 2025, I then wrote to color-analysis.pro, as follows.

I'm only realizing that you sent me 2 mails. The first confirming cancelation and processing of refund. You also sent a gaslighting email on the exact same time, confirming cancelation and inability to process refund.

You further speak of a phantom confirmation email, as well as terms of use, which were somehow invisible when i signed up.

This is fraudulent behavior. I have no confirmation email which speaks of future subscription payments, nor was i given an option to confirm if I'm agreeing to further deductions of 29 dollars. Do you think I'd be stupid to accept this madness if this information was made crystal clear upon signing up.

Your alleged confirmation email with terms of use, I assume specifies that I could cancel within 7 days, to avoid further deductions being made. The problem is that there is no mail of this nature.....nothing.....nada. If there was, and the said mail had terms of usage, I would have definitely cancelled with immediate effect, because I wouldn't have agreed to such nonsense of further subscriptions. So once again, this is confirmation of scamming behavior by your organization.

Send me proof of the so called confirmation email with terms of use, and if it doesn't exist, refund my money, as per your first email address. I have no such email. Maybe your boogeyman got it, ate it, before it reached me, because there is nothing in my inbox.

As you can see, to date, I haven't received any refund. I shall wait for a response.

They did finally answer my emails & issue me a refund!!
Í was charged $29.90 before my trial was even up. Phone number is bogus & slow answer to emails. DON'T USE THIS SITE unless you read any fine print & you WANT to subscribe.

They say it's only one dollar but they charge you $30 after a week of paying even if you aren't using it. No cancellation button in sight so it is extremely hard to terminate the payments.

They asked for $1 USD for a color analysis but they don't tell you that that they will take out $29.90 after a week. It says to click on a link to cancel your

This is a scam! They charged the 1. Then 39. A week to my credit card.

*Update*- in fairness they have just replied to my email and 'have processed' my refund request.
Maybe not a scam as such, (as they have agreed to give me my money back) but a very crafty subscription catch to sign you up. Just beware !

I fell for this scam 🙈. Only checked here after! Paid for the 99p offer but then £29.90 was taken from my card 7 days later as an unwanted subscription. Have reported and submitted a chargeback claim with my bank. (No answer from color analysis pro emails)

Scam! They never mention you pay for a trial, they lure you with a cheap price for a report which by the way is mediocre, then they charge you monthly stating it was trial period. Why would you want a trial of a single report?

Would have given 0 but wasnt an option. Do not click on this. Cost 75p so I thought, now they have taken £29.99 from my account. No option to cancel visible on page. I had no idea I was signing up to a subscription, this is not clear on site. Also, useless site.

I researched the recommended shade before my salon appointment, and I’m so glad I did. After showing it to my stylist, the result was honestly the best hair color I’ve had in years. I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out.
