Invaluable support from clearly experienced professionals!
We were in a position where we were finding it difficult due to certain circumstances to get a mortgage, and we were given Commercial Finance Network’s details from a family member, who also highly rated their service and support. Our case was taken on by Lindsey, and aided by Claire, and we were put at ease immediately after our first conversation with Lindsey, who was clearly experienced, understood our circumstances and knew who to contact to help us obtain a mortgage offer. The communication was excellent, and in all honesty we felt like we were their only clients from the support and attention we received, which resulted in us gaining a mortgage. I can’t recommend Lindsey Murray highly enough. From start to finish, she went above and beyond handling what was a particularly tricky case, always staying positive and never letting me lose hope—even through my gazillion calls and questions. Her patience, persistence, and deep expertise made all the difference, and she ultimately secured the mortgage offer that was perfectly suited to my situation.

The people were great through the whole process
The people were great through the whole process. Ours was complicated buying in Scotland from Australia, but they found the right mortgage for us. Tool longer than we all hoped, but they never gave up and kept us up to date at all times. Always happy to talk and email.

Outstanding support for a complex case
I came to Commercial Finance Network with what I knew was a challenging situation: obtaining a mortgage as non-British nationals relocating to the UK from abroad. It's not a straightforward case by any measure, and I wasn't sure what to expect.
My case manager Lindsey was absolutely brilliant. She worked tirelessly on my behalf, and when the case got more complicated along the way, she didn't miss a beat and kept pushing to secure the deal. Her dedication and expertise made all the difference.

Very friendly and helpful staff, professional service and good outcome. I needed a specialist mortgage as I've moved abroad, and they found one I am happy with. The staff I worked with replied always promptly and helpfully and accommodated the very significant time difference for calls without a problem.

Buying in the UK from Overseas
Not having had a home or a mortgage for some years I was nervous at the whole process, particularly as I live abroad. Specialised in expat mortgages
We had an excellent experience with Lindsey and Claire at Expat Mortgages UK/CFN. We have an international/expat situation and we’re looking for a broker specialised in this which they definitely are. Lindsey was able to secure us an offer at an extremely good interest rate with a UK high street lender. We initially got declined (on a technicality around documentation) and Lindsey fought extremely hard with an appeal which then lead to approval. We had initially been working with a different broker and company who were also supposed to be specialised in expat mortgage, but were very slow and only found one offer for us. The day we initially contacted Lindsey she got us an AIP the same day and we did our full application the next day. The offer was with a different lender and much better than what the other broker had found. So I feel like we really got value from our fee, securing a specialised product at a good interest rate, has saved us a lot of money in the long term. Communication was excellent and Lindsey and Claire always responded immediately throughout the process. Could not recommend them more highly.

Amazing service from start to end.
Being a first time buyer, I was dubious about which brokers to go with at the start of the process, I am so glad that I chose CFN.
From the very start they kept in contact with us, keeping us updated at every step and even though we had some setbacks they had the solution almost instantly for us.
We want to say a massive thank you to Gemma and Kate for all their help and support through this process.

10/10 service from start to finish
I am so happy with the service I received from CFN. Dil and Claire were amazing. Even after receiving the mortgage offer, they were still on hand to help me out with any queries. I inevitably had issues with the solicitors and Claire was always on hand to chase them and give a kick up the backside. I will 100% be coming back to them when the time comes to re-mortgage. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Title: Very Disappointing Experience – Would Not Recommend
I entered into this franchise model with genuine expectations of support, structure, and a viable business opportunity. Unfortunately, my experience has been extremely disappointing.
Despite paying an upfront licence fee, ongoing monthly fees, and additional payments for leads, I did not receive the level of support or business viability that was represented at the outset. The leads provided did not generate meaningful results, and there was a lack of practical operational guidance.
The contractual terms are heavily weighted in favour of the franchisor, including long-term commitments and significant financial exposure. When difficulties arose, there was little flexibility or understanding shown.
In my experience, this model carries high financial risk with limited realistic return. I would strongly advise anyone considering joining to carry out extensive independent due diligence and seek legal advice before signing anything.

CFN is an FCA-regulated commercial finance brokerage. The Trustpilot profile you have posted on is purely intended for feedback from clients who have received brokerage services, not for commentary on business licence arrangements.
Entering into a licence with CFN is a business-to-business commercial arrangement, governed by a detailed written agreement that is provided well in advance of signing. We actively encourage all prospective licensees to take independent legal advice and conduct full due diligence before committing. Many of our licensees operate successfully under the same model when they follow the advice and guidance provided.
We categorically reject the suggestion that this is a “scam.”
CFN has been operating for many years, placing commercial and property finance nationwide, and maintains a transparent onboarding process outlining:
• The fixed licence fee structure
• The optional nature of paid lead generation
• The commercial risks associated with starting any business venture

Moving home made easier…
From the minute we contacted Commercial finance network we had nothing but good communication! We needed a day one mortgage as we were moving back to the UK after living in NZ for 4 years. Louise was there to answer any questions we had and put our minds at ease with the whole process. Moving back from NZ and wanting to buy a house was made so much easier thanks to the team. When applying for the mortgage Gemma kept us in the loop at each stage and supported us with any further requests for information! We have been extremely happy with their work and would highly recommend.

Excellent advice and service
As an ex-pat I had to find a new mortgage and was totally out my depth. After several hours research I found Commercial Finance Network and, despite my very limiting personal circumstances, they found me a lender and now im saving hundreds of pounds a month on my mortgage.
I find paying half of the service up front, and half at the end a very mutually respectful way to work.
In particular, I found Craig to be very very knowledgable of the mortgage business and I was afforded very tailored advice, and he answered my many questions with lots of patience.
The rest of the staff kept me up to date throughout, and it really took the stress and pressure off the situation.

Wow. Thank you so much CFN for sorting out my expat mortgage. I must say I wish I’d found you guys years ago as you would have saved me so much stress with previous remortgages.
From initial enquiry through to offer and then speedy completion, it was a pleasure working with you and my dedicated Mortgage Advisor and then Case Manager were always available by either phone or email, which I must say is a real rarity these days!!
