J'ai juste telecharger l'application pour montrer à ma famille. Puis, alors même que je n'ai aucune envie d'utiliser ce site pour quoi que ce soit, on a interrogé ma carte de crédit. A fuir, site de voleur !

Jamais, jamais je n'utiliserai communauto !

First of all they charge a fee for declining the insurance which is absolutely ridiculous. Their app is absolutely horrendous. Like did they hire high school grads to build it or something? Where I live, the cars are never available, specially the flex ones. I didn't even book the car once during my membership and got charged a bunch of BS damage waiver denial fee or whatever.

Closing the account itself was a chore. You can't do it yourself and need to contact almost non-existent customer service for it; closed on weekends and closed at like 4pm.

Imagine having any trouble during a booking and having to deal with them *shudders*. So relieved I cancelled.

I contacted Communauto more than a month ago about changing my subscription and haven’t had a a response.

Aucun service clientèle attente incroyable longue au téléphone et quand tu écris un e-mail il te réponds plusieurs jours plus tard et ne réponde même pas à ta question 🤦🏻‍♀️

Il n’y a pas vraiment de ligne ou de services pour les urgences, impossible d’avoir la ligne ou de parler à quelqu’un. Incroyablement frustrant! C’est honteux!

Horrible service. Took a reserved vehicle out yesterday, couldn't extend the reservation because the app was glitching, had to reserve it from friend's phone (because surprise surprise customer service never picks up in time) otherwise would've been charged 40 cad on top. Upon trying to drive the car, the anti theft alarm went off and car couldn't start. Called customer service again and surprise surprise, no one picked up in 20-25 minutes. Had to leave the car there and get to my other engagements through an uber. After this they refused to understand the situation, made me go back to that place to get the car, and charged me for the entire time the car was there. Talked to customer service 2 times since then, they have been extremely unhelpful, reiterating the same nonsense and have been extremely rude. Spoiled my entire day and charged me for it. Absolute fraudsters. Their service used to be good and the customer service used to be understanding and responsive, but now it's horrendous. Do not use unless you absolutely have to.

Absolute garbage, insanely long call wait times even for emergency situations. Agents are extremely rude and put you on hold for no reason. Company seems to be doing fine numbers wise, so I don't know why it's so hard to hire more customer service agents.

J'ai eu un problème avec une location et Communauto n'a montré absolument aucun sens du client, aucune forme de compréhension ou de souplesse et a fortiori n'a voulu faire aucun geste commercial même minime. Ils sont rigides et arrogants. J'ai résilié mon abonnement (ce qui leur fait ni chaud ni froid) ; plus jamais je ne donnerai un € à cette entreprise.

Bon que dire de cette entreprise hyper capitaliste qui ne cherche qu’à s’enrichir sur le dos des nouveaux arrivants qui n’ont pas encore de côté de crédit. Super déçue du service, des tarifs exorbitants, des voleurs tout littéralement!!!

Worse company ever seen! After crazy waiting times over the phone many times as I couldn't attach all my residency documents, and when I did, I had to call back, twice to make sure that it was accepted, calling back takes forever, they forget that customers work too and don't have enough free time during working hours to call with crazy waiting times, and they cancelled my registration later on.. saying that I had exceeded time frame, since my first registration to attach all documents... rude employee and worse service ever

As others have stated their service is awful and they have lots of issues with their app.

But I want to talk about their customer support reps in particular. If you want to be accused about what name you have (i use a nickname) and be accused of fraud you’ve found your company lol. After explaining the response “ ok fair enough” in a derogatory tone.

They are extremely rude, hostile and after speaking to them about a few of their issues decided i never want to talk or support these people everr again.

I cant even cancel my plan because of their yearly commitments but my 2 cents your better off making monthly payments to own a car. Do not recommend!

"Emergency roadside assistance" means waiting on hold for about 30 minutes each time. Have a backup transit method ready - sometimes cars won't start, keys are missing, reservation won't end properly in the app, car won't unlock, etc etc. When it works, it is convenient, but about 1/3 of my experience has been chaos and I have had to use alternate methods of transportation at the last minute.

I've been using Communauto for 4 years, just renewed a few weeks ago. Up until last year, I absolutely loved Communauto. Practical, super accessible in my area (until I moved to the west island since they have less car in that part of the city).

They changed their app and that's when the problems started.

Several times in a year, would it show me cars that aren't there or cars that are there but can't be reserved, I had a reservation in November, made weeks in advance, I arrived to the car that was in a completely different part of the city and my reserved car wasn't there although the app showed me it was returned. I had to wait 30min to tall to someone, walked 25min to find a FLEX, on a Saturday, when most cars were taken, while I reserved because I had funerals. Although the car being not returned on time isn't their fault, the app showing that it was there, is on them.

Their customer service that was stellar in my experience before, started to become very difficult, I sent emails that were never answered, they don't answer FB comments nor Messenger messages either. They have extremely limited phone service.

Their app often glitches. Reserving a car for a special event last week was a nightmare. They have in place that rule of no reservation more than 30 days in advance that isn't working which forces me often to travel completely across the city to find a car.

The zone in my area is poorly mapped which makes it hard to park a FLEX as most of the area is not authorized.

Cherry on top, yesterday, I was charged 20$ penalty fee for a "late car" I returned 50min in ADVANCE. I also had to call them because their app was giving error messages that prevented me from finishing the reservation properly. I had to wait on the line 50min for them to tell me they'll fix my reservation to then received a penalty. I now have to struggle to get that extra charge removed.

Very disappointed and growing frustrated with their service.

Absolutely the worst customer service. Expect a long wait on the phone with minimal effort. The application is incredibly unreliable

terrible service, nobody answers, calls only available with international devices from local pay phones when inside the Country. When need assistance, nobody is available to reach. Very stressful and impossible to cancel the plan.
THE WORST.

Worth company ever!
They charge me 500$ of deposit. The opening of the account was fast though :
- customer client on phone is not experimented
- writing back to an issue takes 3-4 weeks at least
- Opening office hours are for retired people schedule as Communauto employee seem to work on a short schedule during the day
- Now the worst part is that cars are never available! It is a nightmare, you’re paying for a service that is wind. It is a Fraud.
Conclusion : They are holding 500$ deposit for a service that is not offer, and they never answer neither on the phone or in writing.
Get an another solution, this one is not good.

0 étoile serait plus juste, pire gestion de véhicules, si vous souhaitez être en retard à un RDV ou chercher un véhicule pendant 20 min alors que son emplacement est censé être bon pas d’affolement vous avez juste a contacter communeauto une assistance de 45 min pour répondre et vous faire marcher a l’autre bout de la ville.
Sans compter tous les mises a jours de leurs systèmes défectueux qui vous prive des communes auto pour 2h.
Bref messieurs continuez a polluer avec vos véhicules personnels cela sera bien mieux que de vous arracher les cheveux.
Je tenais à remarquer que mon avis est basé sur une expérience de 2 mois avec commune auto.

I've been with communauto for several Years. Cars are more and more broken and dangerous. The other day I wasn't able to find a car, it happened twice in a row. Cause of this situation I miss my doctor's meeting. Got 30.00$ fees cause of that. I have been asking for a credit of 50.00 for all the trouble. Just offer me 15$. I'm disappointed with this whole situation. I have been calling them twice and still need to wait for someone to call back.

Je réserve une communauto. J'arrive en station pour l'utiliser et la voiture n'est pas là. J'essaie d'annuler pour réserver un autre véhicule. Pas possible d'annuler la réservation. L'appli me dit que j'ai une résa en cours....sauf que la voiture n'est pas là. Je ne peux pas réserver d'autres voitures pourtant disponibles sur le parking. Le service client qui ne répond pas. Bref j'ai raté mon rendez-vous car le taxi c'était beaucoup trop cher. Et en plus ils me facture la location d'une voiture fantôme.
Nul comme service.
