As a consumer seeking reliable and efficient services, I found myself greatly disappointed by the appalling service provided by Connecting Britain. In writing this review, I hope to caution others against engaging with this company, as my experience has been nothing short of frustrating and unsatisfactory.
My dissatisfaction primarily stems from the recurring issue of being billed twice for a single service rendered. Despite my persistent attempts to address this matter by contacting their customer service department, the problem remains unresolved. Each time I reach out, I am met with promises to rectify the situation, yet no concrete action is taken. Instead, they merely create tickets for the issue without providing any meaningful resolution.
This lack of accountability and failure to deliver on their promises have left me feeling exasperated and disillusioned with Connecting Britain's services. It is evident that they prioritize generating revenue over fulfilling their obligations to their customers. As a result, I strongly advise others to steer clear of this company at all costs.
In conclusion, my experience with Connecting Britain has been nothing short of a nightmare. From their unreliable billing practices to their inadequate customer service, they have proven to be the worst service provider I have ever encountered. Save yourself the trouble and avoid this company altogether.

New install very happy
Recently moved into a new office and was recommended to connecting Britain. Martin helped set up the broadband and phone lines and Robbie who came to the office fixed all the cabling. Very impressed so far and decent price too

As bad as you can get
As bad as you can get, our contract was with their previous company Halo and we were persuaded to set up a new contract and they would pay off the current contract even though it was with them as far as we were concerned. They did not pay that off and said it was our responsibility to pay it off as the contracts are with a separate lease company. A lot of mis-selling going on. The internet and phones are ok but nothing special. I am waiting to get out of this and just going to buy phones and separate internet.
Going to take this to ombudsman as what they fail to say in their reply is they ignored our invoice and emails from us - until it was outside the timeframes set by themselves. Absolute crooks.

Absolutely smart scamming company!
I wanted to sign up to internet for my business and the offer was better than the majors names but things went downhill after “Marc” said they wanted to credit check my company which I thought was normal, so I signed the contact to pay £150 a month. Next day he said their credit agency only approved £99 because apparently my business might not have credit as it’s under 2 years but this is rubbish because the credit is excellent and never taken anything out.
So I thought ok I will pay the reminder on top of the credit monthly. Marc then said his managers said they won’t accept that way of payment but want the difference in one bulk or two. Total £1600 before I could sign up. What!
I said I’d like to cancel because I can’t afford that bulkX hence why I’m signing up to monthly payments. MARC gave no clear warning that the cancellation team then said I have to pay the cancellation fee!! But I have no internet installed or even anyone who came out to the business to access.
So they want over £1000 for basically tricking me to sign the contract and blaming it on not reading there clauses.
Then I received an email with a letter addressed to another company asking for the same money for cancellation!! They have a swift way to promise you a service and then lump you with charges if u change your mind straight away! No grace period. They could have made it simple and allowed me to pay monthly but no they wanted a bulk of money. Such a horrible experience and service! Deceiving scammers!

Poor, unreliable service
The most unhelpful and unreliable company to work with. We were promised the world and as soon as our contract was signed they have not delivered the agreed service over 6 months later, refused to pay an early termination invoice and the communication has been incredibly poor.

"Stay away from this company", they will offer you the world but in reality they will mislead you.
Previously they were called Halo, then changed to "Connecting Britain", new name same staff.
They owe us thousands in an early termination fees which we paid our previous service provider and a facility fee to Halo but never got a penny back despite sending them invoices they kept bouncing them back asking us to make minor changes to the invoices so they could buy time and exceed the time limit and not pay us, so far nothing has been paid to us till this day.
Their service is atrocious and very poor alongside with their cowboy technicians.
Approx. a month ago the broadband had gone flat and as a result we couldn't operate, we lost time and money. The initial problem was with their carrier , they knew all about it but kept making us trouble shoot for hours on end wasting our time just to buy time.
I can't wait to end my contract with these clowns and move back to my previous provider.
PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY !!!

John Clyde was so helpful and managed to sort our handsets for us over the phone. he talked me through everything and offered services i didnt know were available like an answering service for our weekend calls to landline. thanks so much John

Martin and the team have been great. Everything has happened as scheduled so far and I cannot fault them.
Very impressed with the communication, achieving agreed timescales and the service so far. I would recommend this company!
Not the best experience
Unfortunately our experience with Connecting Britain has been far from great with it taking over 5 months from installation of a new line to actually having the line connected. I will say though that Robbie Oneill who came to finally connect the new line was very professional and did a great job, even following up with a phone call to address a couple of queries we had.
