Tons of things have gone wrong
Tons of things have gone wrong. First off, your devices are extremely temperamental. Any wrong move, click, weather condition, or power issue can trip a code which can lead to a lockout. You can claim vehicle maintenance but most of the time they will not recognize it. The customer service is atrocious. Most of the time the live chat will not connect unless you give them a 5star. I've been rerouted through switch boards with people that will not help me. I've been refused "account specialists" multiple times. I've even been given a ticket # of resolution which was phony. How do I know this? They refused to email the ticket. I wrote it down and came back this week to even see if they have it on file. They did not. Previously I did have one issue resolved regarding a lockout and I don't know why it's such an issue now. I know the company contracts places to Install and calibrate. The place I used was Jodis in Orange, CT. Because my car is a hybrid and push start there is a power conflict but on start up the battery is lower than those on a regular gas motor. Jodis informed me to unplug the device upon shutting the car off to as to save power from draining. This sent the device into a loop of breathing then a lockout occurred. I put in for maintenance on December 6th bc that is when I was going to get recalibrated. The lockout occurred late December 5th. Of course this is not acceptable to intoxalock. There is no consistency among the agents involved in this process and no one can help. Furthermore, when intoxalok offered a rebate for installation I emailed and forwarded the paperwork tons of times and used the format they sent me. They still didn't accept it. In fact, when I checked the emails later they all said it didn't go through. I have screenshots to prove all of these claims. The BBB has been contacted multiple times and they resolved one issue. I am now in contact with them for the recent lockout. I want this resolved
