Google this company and you will find multiple posts from clients saying that their product was not delivered to their satisfaction.

THE CEO SEXUALLY ASSAULTED MY GIRLFRIEND ON THE JOB. HE LATER HAD ME ARRESTED FOR SAYING ANYTHING!!

SCAM BUSINESS! Not a legit business entity. Ran by unethical CEO who gets your money, does not deliver, and gaslights, hoping you are “submissive” and take the unfinished product in turn for your money.

List of victims who had same experience. They will try to sue you if you do not comply and FORCE a 5 star review. Not to mention they are OUTSOURCING TO INDIA FOR CHEAPER WORK!!

This “CEO” needs to go ahead and take what he hasn’t already taken from his clients and move elsewhere with his scams because guess what….. everybody knows

Yup I have been scammed over 10k cad by convertx. They promised to raise money after the pitch dec and business plan so I invested around 10-12 k thinking of bright future but when it came to make the product basically the app josh left me hanging telling me to raise money thu some websites they didn't help me at all so my project got stuck there and their was nothing I could have done. Yup this company is a huge scam they promise something on call and when time comes to show up for their promises they back out and leave u hanging. So I stopped all from of contacts with this company and told them my project is on hold he got back to me after a few months asking for what up and join a free meeting but I refused to join. I hope this helps.

Most unprofessional and non-legit company. Wasted £6k in total back in December 2021 while 'working' with them for almost a year after their so-called business plan writing boss Bob Wilson (if that's even his name) sold me lies and after paying 2/3 of the cost, the CEO Josh Adler finally has a meeting with me after 3 months and changes my idea and sells me a dream. I pay again from scratch, the whole project updating and process is a nightmare as they barely listened to my requests, had to fight to get my design envisioned only to get the product finalised after one year and then being ghosted. I tried to contact them from December 2021 until February 2022, no company under that name existed on bark.com where I found them ever existed (got in touch with the platform and found out). They ghosted me after Josh promised he would guide me and share VC's (since he 'understood me as such a young age'), when in reality they are just a bunch of greedy frauds who will rip you off, with poor communication and minimum managerial skills. Avoid if you don't want to waste your money.

Do your startup a favour and skip this company as they’re a bunch of crooks.
Josh Adler, the CEO of convrtx would have you believe he hires only the “best of the best” but we couldn’t even get a decent business plan or landing page from them - so that should tell you right there that Convrtx must be avoided at all costs.

With all the money spent it was very disappointing but a lesson learned nonetheless.

Due to the actions of ConvrtX, their CEO Josh Adler, and two members of staff (one classing themselves as legal counsel, the other a "compliance officer") I felt it necessary to write this review to warn others of the conduct of this company. All of the following statements/claims presented as fact below can be backed up with written evidence (yes, they really were that stupid to put it in writing). We have a Police Scotland reference number, and the reference number of others who have made Police reports. Do your research on the internet, and you can also put in a report.

As the Compliance Officer decided to send me (Daniel Martin) a cease and desist as an individual party independent from any client contracts, I believe that I have the right to write this review as an individual independent of any client contracts. As I mentioned to this person, such intimidation tactics will never be adhered to, and with the advice of Police Scotland, efforts should be continued across social platforms to bring more victims of Josh Adler and ConvrtX out of the woodwork. Thus far, we have around 16 (give or take) ex/current clients and a few other ex-employees, the majority being willing to testify to any statements of myself, my wife, or other client experiences.

The review:

The "compliance officer" recently emailed with a cease and desist, without any evidence in defence, that I had had made defamatory statements about ConvrtX, and individual(s) involved. Upon asking for evidence of defamatory claims, none was provided. They have then claimed they will go through a civil court, however, their address online and the address that they have used on contracts do not match - they show different continents, never mind countries (I’m sure you can use your imagination as to why they may do this). This is exactly why a solicitor told us civil action would be futile, unless they claimed first of course, in which case they would have to provide an address (a falsified address would obviously incur a severe penalty within any democratic judicial system). If a true address was provided, most clients we’ve spoken to are ready to make a mass tort claim.


The first "legal counsel" who emailed my wife decided it was appropriate to comment on her "beauty not matching her professional profile". He then told her she would not get any of her outstanding products, despite her having paid 33k to ConvrtX, unless she took down all negative reviews and signed an NDA.

There is so much more to this, but further research will lead you to all of this. We have no intention of civil action as it is pointless, unless of course they acted first to provide an address, which then we and all other clients will pursue mass tort. However, we firmly believe that all authorities in the three different countries (so far) will be able to bring the justice that is deserved to all other clients.

I am of the impression that all the clients we are speaking to, and ex staff, know that people will not get their money back. However, all of these people have a conscience and are acting in a way to ensure this happens to no one else. Yes, people do have morals and are not solely concerned of their own interests.

ConvrtX are clearly aware that we are in contact with many other aggrieved clients, as they had the audacity to ask me to hand over all of the contacts that we had in order to resolve things with other clients. Threatening other clients with 60k fines if they talk badly about them doesn’t seem to be attempting to resolve things though, does it?



On a more personal thought; having seen how their current Compliance Officer’s tone differs when emailing relatively young female clients and emailing male clients, I would say that the aggression and unprofessionalism certainly shines through much more brightly against the younger females. It would be interesting to know if he would speak to males like this, certainly if face to face.

As a final note for the “compliance officer” of ConvrtX: he has stated that he will ask the Crown court of the UK to impose a custodial sentence as a threat. Very bold of him to think that this would get past the Procurator Fiscal and see the light of day in criminal court considering what we have in evidence? Also, there are major differences between Scots and English/Welsh law, so to state ‘whatever the UK law allows’ is hilarious. The most basic google search would have told you this. All clients are sharing information with each other though, so I am afraid, much to your disdain, people are laughing at you. All your emails have been forwarded to police forces involved, so I hope the wage you received from ConvrtX was worth it. You might want to ask yourself why you were paid so generously though.

Doing business with this company has been my worst nightmare. I advise you to please do your research on Convrtx, and especially the CEO josh Adler before you work with them. I have yet to receive items paid for in full. When products are handed over for feedback, changes are required as the work is done so so poorly. Josh uses this as a reason to charge you more, even though it’s very much still within the scope. They are now refusing a refund, threatening a $60K fine if I publicly speak about them, and Joshua Adler is now unresponsive. This should be illegal, I would never refer this company to anyone, and regret working with them myself

I lost over £28,000 and have unworkable products. I’ve spoken to over 16 other clients with a similar experience to me.

ConvrtX report negative reviews to hide them.

They have posted so many fake positive reviews in the past, but it appears TrustPilot has now recognised this, removed most, and applied a banner to the page to warn consumers about this company.

Be cautious. Do your research.

Extremely disappointed.
Started off great with Yasmine, Jamie, Bob, etc. I felt supported and truly believed this was a company that cared about seeing my ideas and vision become a reality. Very much loved the design work and pitch deck/business plan.
Went downhill from there.
As a creator more than a business mind, I was hoping for more guidance on the path to the App becoming a business. However, meetings with Josh were more like a jigsaw puzzle of "Let's see if you can figure it out as we go, with 10 missing pieces".
I'm a very coachable person... but I need to understand, like most, the actual game I'm being coached to play
I was suddenly told that my Crowd Fund work (which I paid for) would not be handed over until purchased a website... this was NOT mentioned prior to joining up. At this point I flat-out asked multiple people at Convrtx: "Does the company actually care whether my App is a success... or is this all about the Upsell? Does Convrtx have any actual skin in the game?"
The silence was deafening.
The very dubious crunch came when I was repeatedly asked to register my business in Delaware (a notorious tax shelter), and upon saying that I had already registered the business in Canada (the logical thing to do, since I live in Canada), Josh basically said: "Yeah... none of my investors will touch you."
I haven't heard a word since, except for the occasional customer service call to say: "How is your experience with Convrtx?" (Which I naturally NEVER get a follow up on, when I tell them how disappointed I am)
Very disheartening.
Did I make mistakes along the way? Yes.
Was I naïve? Very much so, it would seem.
Should I have asked many more questions at the beginning? Absolutely.
Am I accountable for the mistakes I made on this journey? Totally.
Did I expect more in the way of guidance? Yes. Call me crazy, but I did.
Could Convrtx have been more honest and upfront from the outset? 100%.
Thankfully, when all is said and done, I've finally raised funds and have set about getting the iScreemZ app back on the road to becoming a reality.
From the bottom of my heart I thank Bob and Jamie sincerely for their help and work along the way, which was top-notch.

The thought of creating an app that will change the world has been a daunting task in itself. Convrtx has hand-held me through the process from in-house tutorials about startups to books, to forums, to investors. Most of us with ideas that are out of this world don't know where to turn. Allow Josh and his team to assist you. I know I am pleased with their efforts to educate me on the process, create my logo, create my business plan, and guide me through the process overall. You will find other "app" companies that will build the app leave you at that stage. Try Convrtx where they will teach and guide you on the journey you are embarking on. After all, it's included!
