Had a Lovely experience.
I went to see Tate Mcrae on the 24th of May. The area a is amazing, The staff there was lovely, the only issue I had was finding my entrance as I got vip tickets for the concert, most if the staff was unaware of what entrance I needed to go to (turns out I got sent an email that I read but didnt see the entrance so its on me) the only one that knew where I needed to go was a guy wearing orange, Apart from that it was amazing, sound quality was fantastic.
Non existent customer service
Had tickets for Bruce Springsteen, whilst waking inside the concourse my friend tore his calf muscle. The medical staff was great, but due to the pain and the fact he couldnât stand or walk we decided the only option we had was to head back to the car, this was BEFORE the concert started.
Despite the fact this was a medical emergency I was told I wouldnât be able to walk him to the car and return back to the venue, so we didnât get the chance to see him.
I have reached out to their fanzone on 4 separate emails without a reply, customer service is non existent
Parking nightmare tainted whole evening
I really wish I'd read some of these reviews before booking tickets and visiting this place. Such a stressful experience for me and the 90 year old I went with. The tickets alone were almost £225 for 2 but I thought it was worth it for a special event.
We'd booked onsite parking for £25 in the orange car park. It was rush hour when we arrived so the traffic was pretty bad, but as I could see the venue and we had arrived 1hr 30mins before the start I thought we'd be fine - how wrong I was. We crawled around the arena trying to find signs for the orange car park after 1 hr 30 mins we went past the CLOSED orange car park. I made an assumption that we'd be able to get into the blue car park, so we crawled for another 30 mins and eventually parked up and got into the venue missing about 35mins of the first half.
The co-op live are saying that they sent out emails to everyone who had booked orange to tell them if was closed and to go to blue car park. This just isn't true I received many emails from them but not one of these informed me about the closed orange car park. There were no road signs at all directing people, it was mayhem. There were so many people turning up late who had the same problem, a total lack of information and communication. I've emailed them repeatedly and they are just refusing to reply - such shocking customer service.
Once inside we had to walk quite a long way round to get to our seats as we were directed to the wrong entrance. There were no handrails to hold onto get down the steps, thank goodness we were on the side section and not up in the gods - that looked incredibly steep. As many people have mentioned the seats are tiny. We are slim people but with long legs and found it uncomfortable. The drinks holders are useless, too far back so that you knock your drink over.
Exiting the venue the signage was poor, we asked where to go and we were sent in completely the wrong direction. Eventually found the car park which was really badly lit and no marking on bays - luckily we knew where we'd parked.
The journey to the venue tainted the whole evening. What was bought as a special treat for a 90 year old turned into an evening of worry and stress. All in all a very disappointing experience.
Needless to say we won't be returning.
Poor experience
Great venue amazing stewards in n the venue only thing that lets it down is its security staff aren't disabled friendly my daughter has a number of disabilities and struggled when leaving the venue tried to go back just inside door to escape the massive crowd and calm her down but he put his hand in her face and refused for her to come just back inside down to calm and regulate herself. Disappointing after a goodnight and staff should be aware of the effect their actions have on kids with hidden disabilities
Uncomfortable seating
The seats are ridiculously tight and cramped - there is no point having the fancy concourse etc if you are so painfully uncomfortable you cannot enjoy your very expensive show. I can even forgive the v expensive drinks and food but there is no excuse for the seating in a brand new purpose built venue.
Many challenges for all ages.
The stewards were marvellous. I was told to go to an Accessible Gate, which I went towards & then was able to use the lift. Brilliant help & I got to my seat in Row 4 Section 106. It was very poor, the stairs were difficult to negotiate, & there were railings blocking my view. I knew I could not sit there for 3 hrs without the toilet or a drink. There was no rail to hold on to on the staircase - it is dangerous. Plus the seats are too small & everyone is crammed in.
So I went up to the top of the Section & spoke to the Steward. He could see I was on my own & having difficulty with the stairs. So allowed me to sit in the Disabled area to recover my composure before trying to change my seat.
I met many young people with sports injuries or sprained ankles etc who also had to move seats. I must say the seating areas & stairs require a high level of physical fitness which many people of all ages do not have. You do not have to be registered disabled to find safety problems a concern in this Arena.

Restricted View
Sound decent on Wednesdays Bruce Springsteen gig. However, seat on last row from back and curtains hanging from ceiling obscuring view of all the screens. Ticket not sold as restricted view so very disappointed. Complained to staff who said this had never been an issue before and they would pass concerns on and the screens were higher than usual....

First time visit to the Co-Op LiveâŠ
First time visit to the Co-Op Live venue which is always daunting especially with the size of the place but the staff were brilliant and that always helps.
The online building layout maps I found were not very helpful and trying to find out which door you should use to get in was a nightmare as the fingerpost signs were too small and signs over the doors were not clear.
Sound quality was very good, prices at the bar astronomic but overall a positive experience
Warning! Failure to notify of restricted seats.

Block 319 row 12 were shockingly restricted view to the point we barely seen anything at all apart from legs!!

I guess the building is OK BUT the seating is poor, far too cramped, the seats are too small too low very very uncomfortable.the stairway between the seats remains lit during the performance and if you sit at the end the light affects your vision. No screens supporting the show so you need binoculars! Prices of food and drink ridiculously expensive.
Amazing arena let down by little things
I love this arena as it is easy to find your way round and plenty of toilets and friendly and helpful staff. However I went to see Olly Murs last night and whilst the show was amazing there was large speakers which blocked our view in parts of the show. Our tickets were not sold as a restricted view so that was disappointing. My main issue was that there were numerous people vaping throughout the concert and my sister is asthmatic so this was not pleasant for her or any non smokers.

Attended last night to see Chase &âŠ
Attended last night to see Chase & Status. Queue to get in moved very quickly and security were thorough but very organised. Within the event everything seemed very organised, loads of space available and plenty of bars/shops for drinks so the queues werenât excessive. Drinks were priced as expected for this type of venue. Toilets were kept lovely and clean and didnât have to queue for them at all during the night which is usually the case with womenâs. Staff were all lovely, friendly and extremely helpful. I lost my phone at some point during the night and a member of staff found it and handed it into lost property. I was able to get this back without issues the following day, again all staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
Hopeless car parking
The car parking booking site is appalling. I have paid £25 for parking for Bruce Springsteen and the site not only gave me the wrong date, but also failed to ask for my registration number. Trying to contact them is like trying to split the atom - the number given on their site is for the general Coop and they have no clue what Iâm talking about, and the email address sends an auto response saying my change of registration number will be dealt with!! I will be avoiding this venue like the plague in future. Beset with problems doesnât get anywhere near.
Where do you start with this shamblesâŠ
Where do you start with this shambles of a venue!!
Attended for the Andrea Boccelli concert which was top class, sadly the venue was not thousands of people queuing to be funnelled through a double door with unbadged airport style security âwhich didnât work properly â squashed into a seat that incidentally wouldnât be out of place in a nursery . Seats had been given to someone else initially!! Apart from 3 beer pumps half time concessions were closed toilets filthy and on the way out once again funnelled.out of said double door back into a 4mile snake queue capably organised by the tram squad who seem more intent on you tapping your card than keeping you aliveð finally got to Piccadilly around 12 . Concert was brill but seriously question going here again.
The app isn't working
The app isn't working. I could originally see my tickets. Since the COOPLIVE app sign in became linked to my ticketmaster account, I cannot access my tickets. Today I can log in but then just get a white screen. I would NEVER risk this again
