I feel it is important to share my experience with Corecruitment after applying through this recruitment agency for numerous positions since 2018-2026

Over the years, I have made multiple attempts to communicate with the Cape Town office regarding applications, CV advice, portfolio submissions, and vacancies within my field. Unfortunately, communication has consistently been extremely poor.

The two consultants I usually tried to contact were very difficult to reach. Phone lines often rang unanswered, calls were rarely returned, and emails frequently went unanswered. In many cases, there was simply no feedback at all regarding whether an application had been received successfully, whether there were issues with my CV or portfolio, or whether I was unsuccessful.

I completely understand that recruitment agencies handle large volumes of applications daily, and it may not always be possible to personally respond to every candidate. However, basic communication and professional courtesy go a long way. Even a short response or acknowledgment would have been appreciated.

As a candidate genuinely interested in many of the opportunities advertised, it became very frustrating to continuously apply without receiving any meaningful communication or guidance. From my personal experience over several years, the level of support and responsiveness has felt extremely limited.

Recruitment agencies play an important role in connecting employers with candidates, and clear communication is essential in that process. Sadly, my experience with this agency has left me feeling that applicants are often left completely in the dark regarding their applications.
