Yellow tshirt stained my Skin
I bought a bright yellow T-shirt and it transfered the dye to my bra and pant and my SKIN. Took me 3 hours of scratching and showering to remove the stain. I contacted them concerning about risk of cancer and all they did were paying the money I spent on the bra and pant, plus giving me $50 voucher for future shopping. They did provide certificate approved by a third party that their goods are harmless and said that this should resolve the issue. But i mean, there is still risk of cancer or other disease. Plus all of the depression i got due to the shirt, I expect a better compensation and also an insurance for the possibility of cancer in the future. If there is a way to give 0 star, that’s more accurate.

Order arrived in less than 3 days
I ordered a pair of trousers, a pair of shorts and two tops for my daughter on Saturday - I had had a cider in the sunshine and it seemed a good price so I didn’t check the reviews. After I ordered I expected to receive a confirmation email- I didn’t. I checked the reviews and was worried these clothes would never arrive. There was a knock on the door today (Wednesday) and a attractive ‘Cotton On’ environmentally friendly paper bag presented to me by the delivery person. It took less than 3 working days and my daughter loves her new clothes. I was very sceptical as I know people have not had a good experience - I panicked when there was no communication from the company and seemingly no way to register an account. The money came straight out of my account and I thought it was a scam. It isn’t and I will order again.

I ordered 4 women's tee's, I added the $5.00 express shipping. I called to see why I haven't received emails on a confirmation order. Turns out they canceled my order due to the fraudulent security system they have. Was excited, but now I'm just offended and in shock by the poor customer service. They didn't care they just pretty much said yea that happens sorry. Didn't try helping push through my order or anything. How disappointing. Kinda glad at the same time after reading peoples reviews, saying the quality isn't good. I have never had this issue before with anything I have ever purchased online. Oh and did you guys even think to send me an email stating it's canceled? Unless I were to have called I wouldn't have even known. Good Riddance.

She told me to remind him to send me a url link about my product tomorrow. So we have to spend money on the product, call them and waste our time just to know if my product is arriving to me, because my previous product has been LOST!!!
Incompetent at handling money
Despite that this is a brand with international physical stores and can be found sold at major retailers they are completely incapable of correctly issuing refunds and have an incredibly dumb system. The refunds are processed by a rep who contacts you through the customer support ticket system and 2 TIMES IN A ROW they have not refunded the taxes. The first time they straight up cancelled items from my order because their inventory isn't correct and didn't refund the tax. Then the second time I made returns and they didn't refund the tax. Customers should not have to check this sort of thing. They are probably stealing millions of dollars in taxes from cancelled/returned items from customers. Customer support will make corrections but they are totally incompetent and can't even get the amounts right. Part of it is seeming like there is no modern sales system? I can't imagine how their accounting department operates because none of their records are going to make any sense.
Absolutely shocking customer service
Absolutely shocking customer service, the wrong items were sent, I get mistakes happen, we are all human, bikini for an impending holiday, so obvs gutted, but thought, easily sorted!! Oh how wrong was I?? I contacted customer service & got a blunt, you can return it, but be aware we have huge delays on refunds, a simple “I’m really sorry, you got the wrong items would have gone a long way” but nothing, just looked like “I” was inconveniencing them, cos “they” sent the wrong items!! The hassle to return & wait 6 weeks for a refund seems pointless! But I’d avoid if you can, no customer service or respect whatsoever!!!
Shocking service
I ordered several styles of bikini top and bottom from this website all in a purple floral pattern. When I received my order, almost all the items bar two were in a different green pattern. I was quite disappointed but I know mistakes happen so I notified customer service and they let me know after a few times they've made a new order for me.
I received my second order today only to see that again, the incorrect green pattern was sent to me instead of the purple one. I have quadruple checked my original order and yes, I definitely ordered the purple pattern. I can see that the purple pattern is in stock on their website so I am absolutely puzzled at how this mistake has been made a second time.
I definitely won't be shopping from here again. What a waste of time.

I purchased 3 matching color swimsuits and now I get an email saying this kids swimsuit isn't in stock, but the other 2 suits have been shipped already. I contacted customer service and they told me I had to check daily on their website to see if it was in stock.

Pleasantly surprised!
Having checked the reviews for Cottonon after purchasing three items, I was very skeptical about actually receiving my order! However, I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived within 3 working days.
Although I only ended up keeping one of the items of clothing, all of it was of good quality and matched the description and pictures on the website. I also had no trouble getting a refund when I returned the two items that I didn't want to keep.
I don't know, if I was one of the lucky ones, or whether they have changed their stance on customer service following the woeful reviews. Nevertheless, I see no reason from my personal experience why I wouldn't buy from them again!
Horse s**t of a company
Ordered items on the 19th feb, no dispatch notice, chased up a few times, 3 weeks in was advised items out of stock so would issue a refund, 7 days later, no refund, chased again, was advised refund would be reissued, here we are, another week later, no refund still. Had to open a case through PayPal to get my money back that they’ve had nearly 6 weeks. Scum.

I ordered an item from these guys over 2 weeks ago. Since then, I've had no communication. No confirmation of my order, no shipping notification and no actual human response when I asked what was going on.
I understand that there can be delays, but when I e-mailed, kindly asking for the status of my order, I received the reply "here is your tracking number...". Now, when I track that number, still today, it shows that the carrier is still expecting it from the company. In 17 days, these guys can't get a parcel out of the warehouse.
Unbelievable that they can't process my order in 2 weeks or even say a single word to me. Now when I e-mail them asking for a refund, I just get an automated empty response.
I've cottoned on alright, this is a scam.
marrickville metro
My local Cotton On store is Marrickville Metro. The store manager there is fabulous!! I have always been greeted and treated to her special customer service. A big smile, always helpful and ready to let me know of any great offers that might be going. Sizing is never a problem, with lots of help both in store and online if not available. I know no matter when she will be happy to help and always give good advice. Shopping local with Cotton On is always a good experience with such a generous and experienced sales consultant!!

Not sure if I just got lucky but I've ordered online from Cotton On twice now, and both times were great. Items arrived within 3-4 days (I'm based in the UK), and clothes are true to size. I was skeptical to order at first due to the negative reviews, but like I mentioned, I've had no issue with their service at all.
One thing I will point out is they do post via Hermes, which have been hit and miss for me in the past. I find Royal Mail a more efficient courier service.

I went to the Bunbury cotton on store with my 5 children shopping for clothes .
During the shop, we were not approached by any staff members when we needed a hand.
I smiled at 2 of the staff members and neither of them acknowledged my kindness as STAFF MEMBERS of your store.
Another staff member walked up to my son and his girlfriend and asked him if they had taken any men's under wear from the coat hanger, He replied firmly "no." The staff member did not believe him and called the local shopping centre security guard while watching my children like a hawk . We got to the check out and paid $148.00 worth of clothes and left the store after using a cotton on members code.
The security guard followed us out and asked me if he could check my hand bag (once i had already left the store!!??) . I replied "why" and he said "one of your kids have taken under wear and put into your handbag. It's store policy to check all handbags." So i walked back to the store and emptied my bag to the staff members to show i had not stolen anything.
My family were the only people of colour around, it felt like a racial approach was taken towards my family and I.
Another store manager of Cotton On whom i know of very well has told me that it is NOT store policy to "check all hand bags" so my family and i were lied to and violated in front of all customers and other staff members.
She said to me that it was "ok" very rude and abrupt when the security guard asked to check my bag. I told her it was not ok as, Why would I pay $148 on clothes then steal a pair of underwear????
Cotton on's BUNURY store are racist and extremely judgemental. My family and i will NOT be shopping there again.

Horrible communication and still no package.
Horrible customer service. Since I ordered I receive around 5 emails per day about sale etc. But not 1 email containing my tracking information, how convenient. I placed my order on November 19th, and keep hearing that I will receive tracking information. Still haven't received anything. Online I am being told that I will have my parcel within 5 days. How will that be possible if my parcel still hasn't left Melbourne since November 25th. Furthermore in the communication, there is absolutely no understanding for the situation. It looks appealing to order here but please don't, because it will just be a enormous hassle. I do get that covid makes it harder to deliver the packages but that is no excuse for no communication.
Edit::: after a few weeks, and a lot of messages, I have finally received a refund. So it is possible, do not give up ;)

This online chat has now seemed to have disappeared, so I have no way of getting in contact now. Cotton On owes me £50 and I have a feeling I won’t be seeing this again. I won’t be buying from here ever again and definitely wouldn’t recommend.
