Truly affordable therapy from incredible, experienced counsellors. I’m so glad I found Counterpoise!

Great experience from start to finish, thank you!

From the second I was matched I have had the best experience with counterpoise. I am able to feel really in control of my therapy journey, being able to book as many or as few appointments as possible, with never any pressure to rebook.
I was matched with Angelica, who has been amazing. The therapy approach is catered to what I think I respond the best to which I have found so supportive. Me and Angelica have so much in common and I feel really at ease in my sessions as if I am getting support and advice from a friend.
Counterpoise has allowed me to rebuild a positive relationship with therapy and it’s something I look forward to now.

I’m so happy I’ve found Counterpoise! I spent a good chunk of my adult life in crisis but due to affordability I wasn’t able to commit to therapy long-term and other services felt like I wasn’t really getting anywhere. Thankfully I’m in a much better place now in my 30’s and because of Counterpoise I’m actually able to regularly go to therapy and have it be a form of self-love and self-care. Therapy is actually something I look forward to now, there’s no judgement and I feel like I’m really getting to know myself because of the work I’m doing.

My sessions with counterpoise have really changed the game for me and given me so much more confidence in myself. I’ve had a few bad experiences with therapy so was a bit hesitant to start but these guys really know what they’re doing and they’re a lovely small team🩷 If you’re thinking about starting therapy I’d definitely say be brave and just book a call because they are SO lovely and helpful

I had a great time at the Counterpoise retreat I went to! the schedule was really well planned with enough time to do activities, speak to other people on the trip and get fully immersed in the experience. I really like that there wasn't pressure to participate in everything as some things were out of my comfort zone but the atmosphere was so warm and welcoming that I quickly got involved and had such a brilliant time.

I hadn’t heard of Counterpoise prior to them facilitating a retreat I attended, as such I had no expectations of what to expect. I was blown away not only by the concept of the business, but the way the team made everyone feel welcome and how smoothly the event was run.
Everything was thought of and the organisation was flawless! Kitty and Jess were on hand 24/7 with any queries and genuinely cared about our wellbeing whilst on the retreat.
It was a learning experience, with many take aways, we had group therapy sessions as well as individual ones, and discovered how exercise can improve wellbeing in a simple way.
After the retreat, Kitty and Jess reached out offering long term services with them for affordable prices. I have yet to take them up on the offer but speak to many people who did, who cannot speak highly enough of it.
I would recommend Counterpoise to anyone looking to work on themselves in a simple, affordable but effective way.

I attended one of their UK wellness retreats earlier in the year and can safely say it's one of the best experiences I've ever done. Kitty & Jess were incredible hosts creating a great experience for everyone's tailored needs & wishes to gain from the retreat. Since the retreat, I've continued sessions with Jess which have really worked for me, to the point where I really notice if I miss a session. So, so glad i've crossed paths with Counterpoise, highly recommend!

Honestly I had given up with online therapy providers before meeting Kitty and Jess. Their wisdom, kindness and expertise in the world of physical and mental health is super impressive. It’s been an honour to work with Counterpoise and experience first hand just how many lives they are changing and meet some of the clients who have nothing but good words to say about their therapists and wellbeing retreats. Such lovely people and impressive business too very grateful! (Also literally everything they do is evidence-based which really puts my mind at rest that these guys really know what they’re doing)
