My large puppy goldendoodle came in for a groom and the service was excellent. Great staff and Lauren was exceptional. Would highly recommend

We have a crazy Sprocker Spaniel who loves his home comforts, chilling on the sofa, snuggling in bed with humans, home made treats. In the other hand he’s a crazy high energy loon that needs plenty of stimulation. The Country Dog Hotel and Spa are just the best at looking after all his needs, giving us pawrents the complete peace of mind that he’s totally happy while we are away. Buddy had the best time with the guys here and we were updated daily with pictures and videos of him living his best life. We 100% would recommend The Country Dog Hotel and Spa.

We have an epileptic springer spaniel who’s a gentle soul and needs quite a bit of attention. Love him to bits, but wife and I needed just a few days away on our own after 3 years without a break.
We were very worried about leaving him, but had heard great things about this dog hotel, so thought we’d give it a try.

The hotel wants lots of information about any dog staying with them, and our lad has quite a complicated medication routine, needing 9 tablets at various times of the day, plus specific food amounts.

We needn’t have worried. When we arrived we were greeted by one of the staff (Sophie, sorry I cant remember her name but she was lovely), and then, to our utter amazement proceeded to tell us exactly how many tablets/ food requirement the little chap needs! All the staff had been briefed.

Not only that, but Rebecca texted us to ask if we would mind her taking him to her home at night so he had individual attention!

When we picked him up, he couldn’t see us but we could see him - he was all smiles walking with Rebecca and had obviously had a great time.

We honestly could not have been more delighted, and quite frankly if you’re considering putting your dog in a dog hot, all I can say is book them in here. Excellent, highly professional and also very loving, he will be back!

This was Rev's second stay at the hotel, and we would not send him anywhere else. He absolutely loves his time at the hotel, and gets all the special attention that he craves! He is a typical needy frenchie and all the team at the hotel know exactly what he needs. He gets the most wonderful care and comes back happy and content. I cannot recommend the Country Dog Hotel enough. We know he is looking forward to his next visit!

I would 100% recommend the Country Dog Hotel and Spa. Rocco is a working cocker spaniel and he can be a bit of a beautiful handful with all his spanieling antics. The staff are very caring and from all the photos and videos they shared I could see Rocco was having the best time (and that he loved the staff as evidenced by all his bum wiggles). He even made a few dog besties. I absolutely loved receiving daily 'pupdates' on WhatApp. I have only left Rocco in a boarding kennel once for two nights and the experience was not positive. He was hoarse from barking and dehydrated when we picked him up. When I reviewed the information on the website, I knew the Country Dog Hotel and Spa was a very special place as the dogs can choose where to sleep and that includes wrapping themselves around one of the sleeping carers. Whilst there, Rocco had his teeth cleaned and they noticed a lump on his gum line which I had not seen. We are off to the vets today to get that checked out. I'm saving up for his next trip, its worth every penny knowing your dog is in safe and experienced hands. Thanks so much to all the staff for your care and love of Rocco

Our first holiday away from our 10 month old JRT puppy, so nervous parents. But no need to worry, he seemed to have had a great time judging from all the photos. The team are lovely and I’ve no hesitation in recommending . Have already booked for next year😄

Well what can I say this was the first time we had left our beloved Rottweiler ruby but we can honestly say she was looked after so well and we had regular up dates every dog to see our dog happy made our holiday knowing she was safe and sound the team are amazing and we thank you so much ruby is looking forward to her next holiday

My 2 Cavapoo’s stayed at TCDH for a 2 week stay and thoroughly enjoyed it!
It truly is a 5 ⭐️ hotel accommodation for dogs in every possible way!
They have been before and I know I can leave them with confidence, that they will be happy and well looked after.
The team are very special people and send regular updates of photos and videos. I can just tell from these updates, the girls are happy and contented, so much so I’m not sure they miss us!
The team at TCDH work hard to keep the dogs happy with activities, care and rest times.
I couldn’t ask for a better stay away from home for my 2 girls.
They came away extremely happy, if they are happy I’m happy!

We recently left our 3 dogs at the Country Dog Hotel as we were going on a family holiday. We have had dogs for many years and have only ever left them with a family member so we were definitely feeling nervous about leaving them. We have 2 spaniels and a dachshund - all with very different needs and personalities! We had no need though to worry at all, the daily updates we received really ensured we were able to have a great holiday knowing our dogs were also having a great time. The pictures and videos really made us smile, our dogs were really smiling in some of them and you could see them having fun and lots of cuddles. We, as a family, would absolutely book our dogs in here again, this is the only place we would leave them!! A big thank you to the Country Dog Hotel for taking such good care of our dogs and for ensuring they had such a fun holiday with you ❤️

My babies recently stayed 8 days at the CDH. It was the first time I have ever been apart from them and was very anxious ( possibly neurotic!) but really didn’t have anything to worry about. I had many lengthy conversations with Natasha and Rebecca before dropping them off; going through all my concerns. The whole team are amazing. They genuinely love all their guests and are so passionate about what they do. I have a Cockapoo and a rescue miniature poodle, both with very different personalities and needs. They both came home happy, healthy ( and smelling divine after their bath!). They slotted back into daily life as if we had not been apart. We were sent daily photos and videos of all the antics they got up to ( including an Easter egg hunt!) which was so reassuring. It’s amazing to see a waggy tail in a video and a video of them munching and drinking away. It’s like an instant stress relief. I know it’s so hard to make the decision to leave your fur baby, they are part of the family but the country dog hotel is the most amazing place ever. I honestly feel blessed to have found the team. I just can’t thank the team enough for looking after my babies whilst I was away. They had the best holiday ever.

Our 3 year old dog recently spent 13 nights at the Dog Hotel & Spa. He had never spent a night away from us and is a nervous dog, so it was important for us to find the right place. The TCDH seemed like a good fit with the 1 on 1 attention, free roam of the house and the relatively small number of dogs staying at anyone time. We weren’t disappointed. I dropped him off myself and was happy to see the great care and attention given to keep the dogs safe plus the friendly and welcoming staff who took him from me. Obviously as a doggie parent/family we were going to have major separation anxiety but with all the daily updates and pictures we were able to see how he was doing without us. Very well as it turns out! When the kids missed him they would send a little text and pictures and updates would come flooding back. He made lots of friends and came back smelling gorgeous and beautifully groomed. We will definitely send him back to TCDH when the next occasion arises. Thank you TCDH for making our first time away from our doggie such a great experience.

Our cockapoo’s, Walter and Winnie stayed here for 9 nights. We were extremely happy with the level of care and attention given to them. All the staff are really lovely and helpful. We received regular pupdates by WhatsApp with many photographs of them enjoying themselves. We would not hesitate to book another stay.

The Country House Hotel came to our rescue and we can’t thank Rebecca , Mike , Natasha and the whole team enough for going the extra mile to look after Ziggy our 5mth old Cockapoo.

I had several calls with Becky & Natasha who were amazing and reassured me regarding any fears we had about leaving Ziggy for the first time. Like other reviewers all our anxieties disappeared as soon as we arrived at the hotel. While Ziggy was staying we had daily updates and even videos, he looked so happy and relaxed with all his new pup pals. This made our trip happy, relaxed and worry free. I cannot recommend the hotel highly enough, the team are totally professional and it is clear they have a great affinity with all the dogs and treat them as their own.

We wouldn’t let him go anywhere else now!

Absolutely delighted with the wedding chaperone service from TCDH. Our Goldie, Rosie, had a fantastic few days away and was brought to our wedding ceremony for photos and mingling. We would not have taken our dog anywhere else. Thank you so much. Rosie will return 🐶

Nana stayed for seven nights and had an amazing time, we can’t thank the team enough for their exemplary dog care. We were kept informed with daily updates, lovely photos and video clips which gave us peace of mind as it was the first time we had left our labrador puppy. She came home very happy and very tired. We will definitely be taking her back for another holiday in this first class country dog hotel.

My dog was picked up from London on time and by a wonderful gentleman that took great care of her. Throughout her stay, I received daily photos of her activities, which included socializing with other dogs, lots of off-lead play time in the fields, great activities (they had a King Charles coronation party!), and many more. The staff was very communicative with me throughout her stay. I absolutely will be booking with them again.

Our dog absolutely loves going to the Country Dog Hotel. The guys are brilliant and take great care of the dogs there. The individual attention and care is first class. Always willing to ensure our pet is as happy there as she is at home. They provide great updates and pictures on how the stay is going. The communication before is really helpful and informative.

We left our Cockapoo Teddy at The Country Dog Hotel whilst we went abroad for our first wedding anniversary. Ted is a sensitive little soul and does suffer from mild separation anxiety however, he absolutely loved it! He is our baby so we were anxious about leaving him in an unfamiliar place without us but we needn't have been - the daily updates really put our minds at ease and it was lovely seeing him so happy around all of the others dogs and the staff! Thank you again for taking such good care of him, he will see you again in a few months!
