Besides the food being totally disgusting the people who worked there were even worst. The store employees are so disrespectful, nasty, cold & hate there job. I asked for a price of an item this witch gave me the dirtiest look you could imagine! I was told not to get to cracker barrel & they were right!!!

Attempting to log on to the cracker barrel website to update my veteran information is the most frustrating experience I have EVER had.
I set up my account on the app then I was instructed to go to id.me on the cracker barrel website or a link to it. As I attempted to logon to the national site, my User Name and or my Password were incorrect. NO ONE, and I mean NO ONE, at the store or restaurant from a Manager, waitress, or person at the cash register knew ANYTHING about the web site or how to get signed up to get the discount.
I went to the website and chatted with person who I cannot spell or pronounce the name and I was told to Uninstall the app on my phone, delete all cookies, install the app again and it will set up. I did all that and same result.

I placed an order for takeout and one of my meals was missing. Mistakes happen I get it, even though there's a quality check receipt that they're supposed to check off and they didn't. I called to let them know and was transferred 3x and placed on a 10 minute hold. I hung up. No one has the time or wants to deal with poor customer service and failure to resolve an issue that could have been avoided in the first place.

Avoid the location on Music Valley in Nashville.

Me & my hubby ate at Cracker Barrel CB0589 Jacksonville Florida. River City Station we had the pleasure of getting one of the best server’s I have ever had. His name was Sean B. First he introduced himself and asked us our names. At our surprise he remembered our names the whole time. He was on point great customer service. Brought refills without us even having to ask OMG he made a customer want to spend their hard earned money with this establishment. He needs to be server of the year!! Way to go Sean during these hard times we need servers like you.. keep it up and you will work in corporate one day👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 a satisfied customer!!!

Sitting here now. Terrible service. Another new menu! Difficult to find what I want. Close these restaurants. That previous ceo screwed the pooch on this chain.

By far the most disgusting food I’ve ever had in my life and I’m sorry to be so blunt. The food was old no flavoring whatsoever, the texture of the apples, the dry biscuits, the country fried steak that taste more like fried Salisbury steak, brown gravy that tasted like toxic salt additives. Not to mention the prices that it cost for that form of food just really blew my mind. Price isn’t an issue for me as long as the food matches the price. Unbelievably awful never again… and I don’t write reviews regularly, but I just could not let this one go.

I'm going to be honest. I never would have chosen to eat at Cracker Barrel but that is where our friends wanted to meet so that's where we went - Greenville, TX. My husband and I both had two lunch meals with waters for the drink. We both ordered the fried fish, and I had whole kernel corn as a side. I couldn't even eat the corn. I don't know if it was over-boiled or what but it was actually tough and chewy. Corn. The entire meal was mediocre at best, and that assessment is being generous. My main complaint though is with the cost, which was slightly shy of $46 - for two lunch meals that were really, truly not even good. We have plenty of disposable income to eat out, but to charge almost $46 for what we ended up being served was ... well, ridiculous.

We stopped at the cracker barrel in murrells Inlet sc The waitress Kimberly was awesome and very helpful!!!! the little lady sitting us had such a sweet spirit!!!! I ordered meatloaf/chicken love the chicken but my meatloaf was not cooked it was red Inside and I've had it many times!!!! the manager Sean came to my table and provided me info that it was done and sorry it wasnt!!!! they took it off my plate and Kimberly asked if she could bring me anything else I said no and Sean didn't do nothing about it nothing off he is worthless!!! he did not handle this well wow and he's the MANAGER!!!! Thanks Kimberly she sound be the manager cause she cares!!!!!!!!

They only give 1-bottle of syrup for 3-pancakes and then give you a container that who knows who has handled it where someone has poured syrup in it!!!! This is not a good thing at all

I eat healthy but when a friend asked me to join them for a meal, I said yes. The food was all starch. No wonder why people are so fat.

I am a vegetarian that absolutely loves biscuits and gravy and cracker barrel was the spot before today (3.7.2026)! I was informed this morning that as a vegetarian option you still use pork and tell us it's vegetarian gravy. I am absolutely disgusted and extremely disappointed with you and will tell all my folks about the lies you spread!!!!

Take out time was too long, lack of customer service and still received the wrong order. Overpriced. Every time I order from Cracker Barrel in Huntsville, I get the wrong order and always late with it too.

I recently placed a take-away order for a steak and shrimp combo with three sides, along with a buttermilk biscuit and an iced vanilla latte. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with the service and overall experience.

When I got home, I realized that the buttermilk biscuits were missing from my order and no cutlery was provided with the take-away. Additionally, the food was cold by the time I received it.

I had also specifically ordered an iced vanilla latte, but it was served in a hot coffee cup. When I brought this to the server’s attention, I was told that there were no take-away cups available, which is why it was served in a hot beverage cup. This was not communicated at the time of ordering and is not an acceptable substitute for an iced drink.

Overall, this experience was highly disappointing.

Thoroughly disappointed with the whole experience.
I didn’t mind waiting 15 minutes for a table, we just browsed the store.
From the minute we sat down it went downhill. It took 45 minutes for the food to arrive, I say food but it wasn’t the whole order. The server brought OH’s complete lukewarm food, and put a plate in front of me with a lone steak and nothing else. She said that the egg had just been put on the grill, no worries i said, it would only take a minute to fry an egg. Wrong - 10 minutes later, the eggs arrived with hash browns and the sourdough toast.
I ordered toast as a lighter addition, however it was dripping in grease where they had cooked it on the grill.
After a 15 minute wait for the check, I went to ask for it. Eventually got it and I went to pay. Another 5 minute queue to pay! I handed over my check (it came to $42). Cashier said that will be $59 please! I was sure it was only 42 and told him so, so he went digging in the bin for it. Eventually found the manager, who checked and said sometimes the staff give you the wrong check after adding items, but no she had added another steak. The manager actually thanked me for giving her a “teaching opportunity”.
My advice - check your check! I don’t need to, I won’t be going back.

I’ve had a lot of bad experiences with Cracker Barrel over the years in regards to their food. I do however enjoy their gift shop. I ordered a few gifts online for my family. My local Cracker Barrel is awful to deal with (as are most). Well so is their online store. Item arrived unprotected. Items were missing. Tried to find a number for customer service. None exists. They have an automated chat run by AI. It was extremely difficult to find. They essentially call you a liar and “put in a ticket”. They would not give me a number for customer service but claimed someone would call me back. How is this store in business?! Bad food and poor corporate management. It will be the next one going under.

I have **never** experienced so much favoritism and discrimination in a workplace. I was previously employed by this company and was terminated because I refused to bow down to management like others did. They are terrified of her because when they upset her she decreases their hours by half or 0 the following week.I worked in retail, and the manager was extremely unprofessional, mean, and messy. She regularly shared employees’ personal business, which was completely inappropriate.

I would not recommend working for this company. The retail manager discourages employees from moving up or learning new positions and constantly speaks negatively about other managers and even the general manager to her staff, which creates a toxic work environment. She denies time-off requests unless you are one of her “favorites” and shows no concern for employees’ health—only whether her shift is covered.

This was by far the worst job I have ever had. I left in 2025, and I strongly caution anyone considering employment here. Please be especially careful about sending young people to work at this company, as they are likely to be bullied, overworked, and taken advantage of.

They do not know how to put condiments in a bag I asked for A1 sauce and they put it in a cup and put one drop of sauce food was cold and fries were soggy

Disappointed, I have noticed how Cracker Barrel has slowly gone downhill as far as the food goes .. everything taste instant the biscuits are a hit and Miss, I ordered grits with my eggs and it tasted like instant grits Cracker Barrel supposed to be about old-fashioned cooking not instant microwavable food ..very disappointed it’s not getting better. It’s getting worse.

Slow waiters.set 1 hour 10 min before food..out food we ordered get something else. My hamburger steak patty was hard brick. Will not go again..we go often last 3 to 4 visits getting worse.

I could say the bacon tasted bad but that would be a step up. The bacon was old and it had absolutely no taste at all. It was terrible and it looked like it had just spent hours soaking in grease. We were with a large party and I didn't want to delay everyone else's meal by arguing and sending it back. First the logo and now the food quality is going downhill fast.
