I ruined my credit rating twice with this app. Specifically, when my rating exceeded 400, they sent me an email saying that I could check whether I could get a loan from certain lenders, and that this would not affect my rating and it would not drop. Then I found out that this check had affected my credit rating, even though the app clearly stated in large letters before the check that checking your credit rating would not affect it in any way if you wanted to take out a loan. If we compare it to CLEAR SCORE, which is also an application for building your credit rating that has proven itself to be simply awesome, then this CREDIBILITY application is simply rubbish. If you want your rating to be f***ed up, then use this CREDIBILITY application.Well, if the CLEAR SCORE application states that it will not affect your credit rating in any way, then it means that it will not affect it in any way, even if you check whether you are eligible for a loan from a specific lender who will review you through a soft search.

CredAbility is the first and only app of its kind that I have used, so comparisons are not possible. That said, the app has provided me with a great deal of comfort especially given the information available regarding switching credit card balances to a 0% interest for a 19-month term. I did so and am extremely satisfied.

All my request were not met i need a link to get loan up till this moment I have not been able to get one . This is to improve my credit score

WASHED OUT CARELESS DATA HANDLERS
My experience with this company for many years has been nothing short of utter exhaustion. They simply got my details wrong to begin with and upon trying to have them amended it, they took at least 1.5 years to get it resolved.

And they did not resolve this out of their own accord or goodwill intention as I had to make many complaints and follow-ups. In the end they gave me their final answer that if I am not satisfied with them, I can take this up elsewhere such as the Financial Ombudsman.
Of course they probably thought I wouldn’t or were not even bothered with me anymore. But I did with all of the evidence from my corresponding emails. Only thereafter they were not only much obliged to finally correct everything but had also compensated me.

My conclusion on this is that they do not care. It is a system made to dry people out of their monies and the sole reason for myself reluctantly signing up to such companies is to improve my credit score, reports and financial status so that a good history is built for future opportunities with a monopoly design that one cannot live without unless you are super rich.

My advice would be to use these companies if you need to but never let them have their way with you and certainly never trust them. Unlike the general retail sectors that can sometimes be questioned, companies like these are in no way about customer service at all. They are worse than SCAMMERS, because as well as only being interested in your DATA, for them it does not need to be 100% accurate….If you can remember that, you will go a long way in securing yourself as an individual.

Credibility keeps me up to date on my credit score and gives me options on various credit options.

My credit score dipped (from 568 to 555) by 13 points this week on the CredAbility app, then I contacted Equifax today at1520 by their phone (08000142955) to know why that dip happened, they said on their system "your score is 568" and said if your score is showing less than this number "You should contact the CredAbility"

They also checked for me all aspects of my credit report, saying everything is fine.

Please correct the mistaken credit score it worries me a lot.

Please note that there are three main Credit Reference Agencies (CRAs):

Experian
Equifax
TransUnion

At CredAbility, we show you a copy of your Equifax credit report which they create using information about you from the companies you have accounts with, as well as sources like the electoral roll. Each Credit Reference Agency uses a different scoring model. Moreover, each CRA updates your report at different times. If one agency has more recent information, like a new payment or credit enquiry, that can impact your score.

Can you please review your credit report to spot if there are any potential issues or inaccuracies in order to investigate this further? Sometimes the current address can cause issues with showing the correct credit score. If there are no inaccuracies on your report then this will be the correct score that is sent to us by Equifax.

On 27th September my credit score on Equifax 604 whereas on CredAbility and ClearScore still 555.
