Great team of workers started at 0800 finished by about 1300 all very friendly and respectful of property

We have had solar panels, heat pump,new boiler,and a radiator fitted. The whole team from electricians, plumbers and the fitter of the solar panels, every one of the was fantastic they were friendly, explained everything and were very tidy. The sub contractor that fitted the solar panels found we had 2 broken tiles, he went and sourced a couple and fitted them and never charged me.the whole experience was brilliant.

Just had CRG carry out energy improvements on our home under the Warmer Home Scheme. Everything was carried out on schedule and even the one thing which wasn’t it was arranged over the weekend so we didn’t have to wait until the Monday. The guys doing the work were very efficient and friendly. Anybody considering any solar or other energy improvements to their home please consider this company as you won’t regret it.

They were friendly and professional .
And explained what they were doing and how things would operate.
They also explained how long the work would last
They started on 14th and finished 16th May 2025
We were impressed how tidy they left house each day .
All the boxes etc and old heaters etc were taken away on last day here.
Not forgetting Raf who fitted the solar panels.

Installation was great, after care absolutely shocking, have an issue with the air conditioning unit they installed, called at least 10 times in the last year, no one ever answers, leave a message and no one has ever called me back, unfortunately now would never recommend them then to anyone, would just like them to call me back and redeem themselves??!!

What a great professional team josh has. A joy to have around working.very polite team and they all keep you up to date with what they're doing etc..exceptionally clean workmanship and nothing is too much bother for the team.id recommend them to anyone..shame other companies don't have worker's like this..thanks for an A1 job

Sharni made a return visit to add a battery to my solar panels that were installed by CRG. She previously installed a Zappi charger for my plug in hybrid. Her workmanship is amazing and she is a credit to CRG.

Great company, everyone very knowledgeable and friendly. We had a very successful solar panel installation a couple of years ago by CRG and we have now had them back to install 2 air conditioning units. Very happy on each occasion with the clean tidy professional workmanship. Would highly recommend.

Very happy with the installation team, they were quick, professional and with a good communication. Done the job in one day. I recommend them.

Really good communication quick service well explained. Clean installation Only down point is noticed when they left the toilet seat had been snapped off and broken and not mentioned.

Edit: if you had read my review properly you would have read that my emails are not getting through either, so replying saying to email you is really not good enough.

Ihave been trying to contact customer service number for over a week now and I cannot get through. It would seem they have blocked my number, and when I try and email my email cannot get through either. All I want is for the work to be completed. Solar fitted, took over 3 weeks for it to actually be set up correctly and am now trying to get through as the app set up does not work or link to the inverter, of which they had set up to another address. There seems to be a total lack of any after care support.

The process from start to finish was second to none and the installation team were brilliant even with some fussy requests that I made, nothing was a problem.

100% recommendations from me.

Overall we are pleased with how CRG installed the solar panels on our house. There was an issue with communication, as what we were told was going to be the position of the panels was changed at the last moment without informing us. The first battery did not work properly but CRG fixed that quite quickly. Having a battery is really useful in the Winter as you can charge up when electricity is cheap (and there isn't so much sun!).

I had five quotes from four companies for solar panels. Chose CRG for the overall proposal, not simply price. It was installed at the end of January and nine months in I am very pleased with the panels, battery and inverter. It took some nagging after installation to get questions answered and loose ends sorted. My real complaint, however, is about the iBoost, a £500 device which uses spare power to top up the hot water. It works, but after monitoring it for several months I found the reduction to the gas consumed by the boiler was marginal at best. I would have done better to keep my £500 and sell the surplus to the grid. Then I found on their website that I cannot use an iBoost with a gas boiler. The website says explicitly that they do not recommend it. I should have been told this at the beginning. I tried four times to take this up with CRG, by email, phone, website and letter, and was ignored each time.

We approached a number of companies for a new solar installation, having no prior experience. CRG were by far the best in understanding our needs and providing the best solutions. Jack, who dealt with us, was brilliant, responding to all our questions and concerns and revising the original proposal to come up with the most suitable system. CRG were also very competitive on the price and, unlike some of the other companies, Jack did not try to sell us anything which did not make sense for our needs. We are looking forward to the survey and installation to follow and will complete our review once done.

Top company and top customer service. Lot's of scammers out there who promise the earth and don't deliver so CRG were a godsend! Melissa worked with us from start to finish putting our minds at ease and the install team were magnificent. Couldnt be happier!
