Outstanding support and a truly customizable smart home solution
I had an excellent experience with CSTechBox. What impressed me the most was the level of support and the willingness to develop a customized software solution specifically for my setup.
The owner personally helped me integrate my Bosch air conditioner and two Ariston water heaters into CSTechBox, giving me the possibility to create advanced rules and automation scenarios based on different conditions.
In my case, I use Bosch AC, but CSTechBox also supports other AC models, allowing users to create similar custom rules and automation scenarios depending on their equipment.
For example, I can now automatically turn on the water heaters when my solar production stays above a certain level for a specified amount of time, allowing me to make better use of surplus solar energy. I can also create climate automations, such as automatically starting the Bosch AC in heating mode, at a predefined temperature, whenever the room temperature drops below a certain value.
And these are just a few examples — the system gives me many more possibilities to create rules and scenarios tailored to how I want my home and energy system to operate.
What really makes the difference is the support behind the product. Instead of simply telling me what the existing system could or could not do, the owner took the time to understand what I needed and developed a personalized solution that made these integrations possible.
Another major advantage is the price. CSTechBox costs around €35, which is extremely affordable for the functionality it provides. Considering the level of automation, flexibility, integrations and especially the personalized support and software development I received, the value for money is exceptional.
