This is a story about exemplary customer service, human interaction, and what all should companies should aspire to be like. It isn't every day you order something online without feeling apprehensive when you hit the buy now button!

I ordered this machine and told my friend all about the great deal I got, so she wanted one also. Sadly, her machine was stolen out of the vestibule of her apartment complex while she was at work. She is a single mom, and while she got a great deal on it, she couldn't afford to replace it and her renters insurance had a $250 deductable.

I contacted customer service, and explained what happened. I was a little preturbed because the photo of delivery did show that it was delivered, however there was no outer packaging to keep the contents of the package hidden. So someone in her building saw it and thought, heck yes! It's my lucky day! Because people no longer have morals or values, they will steal anything from anyone including their neighbors.

Grace was AMAZING! She responded to all my inquiries within an hour. She was empathetic, and said she would take it to her management team and ask what could be done. We were so surprised to even hear that they would consider a replacement, most companies would have said that they delivered the product and that was it. But not Culvani. They replaced the machine!

I cannot tell you how much this experience gave me hope. I had just spent 6 hours over 3 days fighting with Lowes on a price match, interest free financing and triple rewards credits when I opened a credit card and purchased a dishwasher, installation and a 5 year warrantee. After being transferred 5 times and getting nowhere, and them not willing to take any accountability it took going to the corporate office to get resolution. No one has time for that today.

But the real message here is this. Culvani is an American brand owned by Kitchenova LLC, a limited liability company based in the United States. While its trademark is registered in America, its countertop kitchen appliances are manufactured in China (along with other similar DTC brands). But, whats key here is that they are not owned by Blackrock or any other Private Equity Firm like all the other Big Box Brands. We need to steer clear of those brands because they don't care about their customers. When you buy from a small privately owned American company, they will do what is right for the customer and for their brand.

Culvani is surpassing all of my expectations of what it means to provide top quality service, 10 out of 10 on the rating scale. You are not just a number, you are a real customer, a real human being that deserves respect. You won't be dismissed, disregarded or hung up on. You won't have to debate or argue. If there is a problem, it is clear that they want to fix it. I have asked them to fix this issue by wrapping the box in brown paper when shipping to hide the contents. Perhaps to save money they could ask the customer at checkout if they require this as an option for people that have theft issues and if they opt out, they can take the cost of the paper off the purchase price. Either way, THIS is why a good company listens to their customers. One simple solution can fix what could become a big problem.

Take the chance and hit the "buy now" button. You won't be disappointed. This company is legit. Now we just need them to manufacture here in the U.S.!

I had to leave my review here for Culvani. I really don't leave reviews, and there are tons of review invites pending in my mailbox, but the guys at Culvani deserve appreciation as a small business. We ordered one of their slush machines and everything has been great. Their support is efficient and quick to respond. Initially, the pricing seemed a bit high, but now that we’ve been using it, the quality feels very solid. Big shoutout to Grace too for her quick assistance every time we had a question.
