Great food but chaotic service

Great food. Excellent wine list. Love the bar area but staff were inattentive
. We had not booked and made to feel that we were lucky to be seated! But they did seat us and took quite q while to take our order. Not a problem but a little heads up to say it would be 30 mins to take an order and we would have been fine. I think the main issue was just a lack of organisation. People who came in after us were served before us. Someone needed to take control. What saved it was the great food and wine. I love this restaurant and have been many times. Let's hope this lack of service was an off day.

Spanish tapas bar, Guild Place, Cardiff


This Spanish tapas bar just off West Gate Street in Cardiff is a hidden gem.
We popped in for an impromptu Friday lunch and what a delight....food cooked fresh from order..( please take the Mediterranean way of life with this as its not a McDonald's..and food is cooked fresh..so a bit of patience is needed ) have a large glass from their AMAZEBALLS wine list.. and chill
AMAZING..AMAZING..AMAZING...

What a treat

What a treat, love this place.
Authentic tapas, great wine menu, chilled music and great service.
Plus you can buy most of what you eat on the night at their fab in-house delicatessen.
