I have used curljar in a professional capacity in many people and have found it leaves the hair looking silky and hydrated, whilst providing hold. It's a staple in my kit now.

​I am really impressed with the CURLJAR Curl Activator. It’s a beautiful cream-based formula rather than a gel, and it leaves my hair feeling extremely soft and looking lush with a great shine.
​One thing to note: because it is so soft (likely thanks to the Tamanu oil and Lemongrass), my curls tend to wrap around each other and mat at the back if I use it alone. To fix this, I "cocktail" it with Eco Gel and a bit of mousse. This combo provides the hold I need to keep the definition without losing that creamy softness.
​The Verdict: The price point is a bit high considering I have to mix it with other products to get the perfect result, but the quality of the product itself is fabulous. If it feels too "soft" for your hair type, I highly recommend layering it with a gel or mousse and letting it completely dry before scrunching out the cast. You won't regret the shine!

I was expecting better results considering the expense. I usually use two other curl cream products which are a fraction of the price. CurlJar was recommended by my hairdresser. I have now used 3 times, twice allowing hair to dry naturally with some scrunching and the other with cold setting lowest speed diffuser. The curls don't appear boosted, are less formed and appear to drop quickly.
Shame, because the smell is very nice.
Once I have finished the jar I will return to previous products.

This did absolutely nothing for my hair, in fact I'd go so far as to say its one of the worst products I've tried. It didn't activate my curls, control frizz or have any hold at all. Very disappointing. Despite following their guidelines to the letter, I ended up with what looked like a bird's nest on my head. Very costly mistake!

I bought the trial size as I was not sure how my hair would react. It is absolutely lovely and I am very impressed with it. I've got half curly hair some wave and some straight. It looks so nice when it has dried. I can just put it on and leave it to dry naturally. I have now bought the bigger pot and will keep the trial pot as a travel pot.

The service and delivery great got in a couple of daysythe products are great my hair feels more conditioned after 1 use not joking 😀

I’m in loveee with Curl Jar! I tried it for the first time today after years of using mousse (which always left my hair feeling abit crispy), but after using Curl Jar my hair dried with all the lovely volume and natural curls i usally have but the curls are SOFT and shiny and my hair just feels beautiful! It smells incredible too - can’t wait to wash my hair again :)

I'm always sceptical when it comes to curly hair products as find so many are too heavy for my curls and leave me needing to re Wash my hair as soon as possible, however this product has honestly changed the game for me and my curls! I tried Curljar by pure chance as I was given a trial size. I didn't think it would work for me as I have low density hair. Usually creams make my hair too soft and limp. I experimented with it and found a technique that works for me so bought a full size jar. I use a small blob on soaking wet hair then add any one of my fave gels on top.
Means my curls last for days and sometimes don't even need a refresh.
It works more like a gel than a cream for me and I'm glad I found it.

I have very fine hair that is a mixture of tight curls and waves. It’s also suffered years of damage from heat and bleach. I wanted to give my hair a rest, let it repair, and also start wearing it natural - no colour and curly. Every single routine and product I’ve tried has been a disaster. The curls look dreadful and the products are too heavy.

Not CurlJar.

It’s the most amazing product out there. The difference it has made to my hair is incredible. I now have a simple routine - just wash, condition, apply CurlJar, and diffuse. Or, if I want extra hold I add a small amount of gel too. That’s it. And what you get is beautifully defined curls/waves and hair that is soft and full of life. The best part is refresh days. You only have to use a small amount of water - either a gentle mist or even just wet hands - and it’s like a complete rewash! The curls spring back and you look great again.

The smell is beautiful and not overwhelming. And the jar lasts you for ages!

I can’t recommend this enough. If you’re unsure, give it a few tries to find what works best for you, and I guarantee you’ll love it.
