I recently took the decision to upgrade my kitchen knives and in my mind there was only one option and that was to invest in a set of hand crafted Japanese blades.

What i quickly discovered is that it is a minefield and my knowledge was extremely limited.

After some research on the internet i stumbled across Cutting Edge and I have to say the service from start to finish was exceptional.

I emailed in asking for advice, Ally responded promptly and pointed me in the right direction.

My knives arrived today and i am over the moon with them, i could not recommend Cutting Edge enough.

Knife was as beautiful as described, unfortunately slightly damaged in transit. One email later, the knife was picked up and a replacement sent in a few days.

Fast delivery, my new knife arrived the next working day, the quality was superb, never had a knife which handled so well.

Beautiful product, beautifully packaged. Knife is everything I hoped it would be and more! Photos on the website did not do it justice. Wonderfully sharp out of the box, and just stunning to look at. Julienning carrots was never so easy! Will get many many years of enjoyment and delight using this knife. Knife arrived very slightly tarnished (as typical of carbon steel knives if not wiped dry). Came off easily with a little lemon juice.

I’ve had 5 knives from you guys over the last few years. 3 Nikiri blades and 2 Santukos. All have been completely on the button. I’m a professional chef and really rate the products and the supplier. All prices fair.
All deliveries rapid. I had to send one Masakage knife back for exchange but that was purely me being particular. There was no quibble. No restock charge. Just good old fashioned honest customer service. Other companies really could and should take note! Hope to do more business with you soon!

I ordered a knife but received an email the same day that the knife had been checked before shipping and there was an imperfection found, I was then helped with an alternative recommendation and they even covered the cost difference.
