I developed my own CV after over 20 years in the same role, what can I say things have changed. I applied for roles and was not getting much in the way of success. I researched about 10 CV writing firms and from reading numerous reviews on trustpilot, I decided to use their services.

From the initial approach to the response to my e-mail was less than one hour, and within 4 hours I had a 30 minute telephone appointment where I was able to address all my concerns, I ended the call confident in the fact that I knew they were aware of my requirements.

There had different services available and within approximately a week, I had a draft CV ready and I was able to review it and make the necessary changes, until I was happy with the final product. When I reviewed the first draft I was extremely impressed, it stood out and the style was very striking.

Certainly worth every penny, even a friend of mine who was against me spending money on the service, was blown away by the quality of the CV, which made me feel even more vindicated in choosing CVSOS. Even since completion of the service, they were complete an additional request outside of business hours within an hour.

The only tinge of disappointment was that I felt the covering letter that was provided as part of the service, was not of the same calibre as the CV. I reluctantly give out 5 stars, as you can always do something better.

But outside of the above comment, I have no complaints and I would highly recommend them to anyone who reads this.

I was in urgent need of an up-to-date resume and found CV SOS through Google. I put my request to several providers and Matthew from CV SOS came back with a very clear offer of a comprehensive, no-obligation review.

When the report came back it was clear, concise, and not pushy. There were three levels of service proposed, clearly priced and described. I chose 'Level 6', which included a resume, cover letter, and LinkedIn profile. at a very reasonable price.

The process was then totally painless; a few questions to clarify some points and provide some additional information, and the first draft was delivered well within the timescales given.

In a previous use of a CV writing service a few years ago, major alterations and corrections were needed, I may as well of written it myself by the time I had sent the amendments!

I hadn't needed to write a cv in over 20 years and was seriously struggling with the task. I had searched the internet, trying to find help and was dubious about using any of the services.

I decided to give cv sos a call and I was so glad that I did. From the initial conversation with Matthew, I felt very reassured that he had my best interest at heart and understood exactly what it was that I needed to convey on my cv. What can I say. Matthew and the team have created what can only be described as a beautiful piece of artwork on paper. To interpret information from someone you don’t know and make it shine is such a skill and often overlooked.

From first making contact with Matthew, the service has been excellent and beyond expectation. A report was received within days relating to my old CV, where improvements were needed and what services were available. It’s worth mentioning that my old CV was embarrassing to say the least but at no point was I made to feel this with positive comments and support offered for areas of improvement.

It took time; my CV was complicated with a work history with a lot of jobs from seasonal work. He challenged me to add missing information and involved me in every aspect until between us it told a story - a story of my life (which surprised even me!) Once I was happy with my CV then the cover letter could be written which just needed a couple of amendments. Only then, when this was complete and I was 100% happy have I been asked for payment and there is still support to help redraft the cover letter to a specific job application.
