If you are serious about a career in Cybersecurity and have 'skin in the game,' stay far away from this institution. My experience here was a complete waste of time and professional energy.

The leadership is fundamentally unprofessional, seemingly more interested in personal image and material status than the actual success of the students. The culture within the classrooms is even worse; there is zero community support and a pervasive negative energy. I witnessed a student body largely comprised of unmotivated individuals who appeared to be under the influence of various substances rather than focused on their studies.

Most students here simply 'hop' from one class to the next without ever passing a single industry certification. There is no accountability and no drive for excellence. If you are looking for a professional environment where your hard work will be matched by the quality of the instruction and the caliber of your peers, you will not find it here. Do not let the marketing fool you—this is not a place for high achievers.

Before I discuss my experience at CyberTex Institute of Technology, I want to be clear: I do not consider myself a standout student among billions; I am just a regular person sharing my experience. My main issue is that my nearly 12 months at CyberTex felt like a complete waste of time. Classes rarely started on schedule, and each teacher had inconsistent policies on attendance and participation. Sometimes, we watched movies instead of actual lessons, and discussions often drifted into unrelated topics, such as religion, politics, quantum computers, or even snack food websites and girls' clubs. The academic environment seemed chaotic, with little connection to the actual syllabus. Overall, I believe that none of the teachers I encountered should be involved in academia, and the teachers frequently mismanaged situations.

Currently enrolled, and 100% feel like I have made the best decision for me and my future. To me the best aspect of this school are the instructors. Always willing to help and provide years of experienced knowledge.

The community here is great and they provided a lot of good materials to try and prepare you for the certification

This school is amazing. I love how everyone is so welcoming before and after you start. I love it here and I would definitely be back!

I came here with no expectations or experience and the teachers are great as well as the staff and students are very helpful

I like it the school and staff. I don't feel uneasy to talk to them. All are very nice. The teacher makes the curriculum easy to understand and are always open for questions.

The Networking Engineering program at the Austin campus is an absolute wonderful experience. The course is geared towards embracing newcomers as they start their journey while allowing helping experienced students further their careers. Lead by a knowledgeable and compassionate team that are eagerly ready to help potentialstudentsfrom all backgrounds succeed, not only in this course, but in their futurecareers as well. The course is geared to teaching you the basics while consistently growing you as a future Networking Engineering professional. I recommend this program for anyone with a passion for Information Technology to challenge themselves for the better. Best decision I've ever made.

The staff is amazing very welcoming.. I’m currently in MA program and Ms Brooke is wonderful very hands on and I love her.. I would recommend this School and program to everyone
