Cynet sounds good in principle; however, in practice their bloated agent and poor customer service are a bad combination. Over 50% of our customers required we uninstall the agent after we rolled it out because their computers become unresponsive/nonfunctional with the Cynet agent installed.
When we reported the issues to Cynet, the short answer was "Not our problem". We ended up switching to another provider and had to pay for months of their services with no clients installed because they refused to even consider that their platform had problems.

This is just a public service advisory to any MSP considering Cynet: Pick someone else, you will thank yourself later!

Magari Cynet sarà anche efficace, non posso saperlo: se un virus passa, mica te lo viene a dire. Ma da quando è stato installato sul mio PC, è diventato un incubo.

Ad ogni avvio, per almeno 10 minuti, la CPU è occupata al 20-30%, l’SSD lavora come se stesse estraendo uranio, e la ventola parte come una turbina eolica. Appena apro un file, anche fosse solo un PDF, Cynet interviene in modo iper-invadente, occupando un altro 15-20% della CPU. Se poi apro qualcosa di più pesante, tipo Premiere Pro, sembra di avere un vulcano sulla scrivania.

Ormai lavoro con le cuffie per non sentire la ventola che soffia di continuo.

Non consiglio questo software a nessuno che abbia la possibilità di scegliere. A me è stato imposto — e sinceramente lo trovo un pessimo compromesso tra sicurezza e usabilità.

Awful experience: invasive, heavy, unbearable

Cynet might be effective — I honestly can’t tell. If a virus slips through, it's not like the software tells you. But ever since it was installed on my PC, it’s been a nightmare.

At every startup, for at least 10 minutes, the CPU runs at 20–30%, the SSD works like it’s mining uranium, and the fan spins like a wind turbine. Just opening a file — even a simple PDF — triggers Cynet, which eats up another 15–20% of the CPU. If I dare launch something heavier like Premiere Pro, my laptop turns into a volcano.

I now wear headphones just to ignore the constant fan noise.

I wouldn’t recommend this software to anyone who has a choice. Unfortunately, it was forced on me — and I find it a terrible trade-off between security and usability.
